Nice bar and selection of beers. Pretty chill atmosphere and good for an early evening drink or for grabbing a few beers with a group.

We were left a little disappointed with our meals. Good portion sizes, but the meat was average. Lovely pint and the people were friendly.

Very good customer service. Got chips on time and fish. Very tasty and better than chorlton one.

4th time visiting, food always amazing, service always lacking, no happy smiling faces, little slow on asking if we wanted anything else and even slightly annoyed when we asked for more, but on the whole would definitely visit again and would reccomend.

As a Malaysian, I am very disappointed to say that their food lacks the authentic Malaysian taste some diners might expect. While the restaurant is praised for its traditional flavours and quality ingredients in the other reviews, the dishes did not fully capture the essence of Malaysian food. The menu provides a variety of options, yet some dishes may fall short of delivering the genuine Malaysian taste that local Malaysians seek. For example, I have tried their nasi lemak, mee goreng and masak lemak. To start off, although the nasi lemak had the basic components of what a nasi lemak would have, the sambal was not as spicy. Their mee goreng was made with spaghetti/pasta instead of the usual egg noodles that you would usually get at your typical local eatery back in Malaysia. Last but not least, the masak lemak was NOT masak lemak at all. It’s supposed to be a spicy turmeric based curry, instead I received a tomato based sweet curry. That was the biggest disappointment for me as a masak lemak lover. Overall, it's a pleasant spot for a meal, but those looking for an authentic Malaysian experience might find it slightly lacking. I ordered takeaway from this restaurant so I can’t say much about the service and atmosphere.

A must visit when we’re in Lancaster. I’ve been coming to this wonderful Italian since I was a child in the 1970s. The food is authentic and Mimmo & his son are always very welcoming. It’s great value too. We had cannelloni, carbonara, fillet steak with pepper sauce followed by tiramisu & crème caramel. Mimmo makes everything from scratch. Superb!

Great night out with friends. Food was lovely. As we were a big group we did have to wait a while for our food but it was worth the wait.

Warm welcome on arrival. Coats were taken and hung up instead of putting on back of seat. Lovely menu plus lots of specials to choose from. Steaks cooked to perfection lovely atmosphere

Great cheap cheerful post dog walker's lunch. Selection of hot and cold breakfast,lunch and sweet treats, coffees etc Just what was needed. Lovely friendly staff, quick service 😀

Used to be an amazing place with the best food about! Just been and was absolutely shocking! 1 girl to do service tables orders drinks. We will not be back in didn't even eat half my main paid best part of 100 quid and wasn't worth a tenner!! Starters was ok but all in all it's a rip off, all supplements applied to main menu!! 3 quid for a drip of gravy! Want a steak go old original cos this was dogshit!

9x orders for a very hungry office all correct, tasty, and piping hot! Everyone was uber mega friendly and super efficient. Top quality Halloween decorations too (not too spooky, you won't drop your order on the way out in fright). Chippy girls and guys, we love you and we will be back!

What a lovely evening we had.. the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We also tried the desserts. WOW. Amazing. We will be back xx
