The best restaurants in Brock Wyre North West

We haven't been to Planks Kitchen for a year so we're pleased to see that the food was as super as we had remembered. After a great walk in the Beacon Fell Park it was a short 15 min drive to get to the cafe. Particularly good vegetarian options.

We have been visiting Iced Bakes most Saturdays for a while and always look forward to our warm welcome. Home from home. Such a nice place to rest up and eat after a walk or cycle ride. Lovely cakes, home cooked food and great people. Our favorite cafe for sure and if you need a gift for a celebration you can get that too. 👍

Warm and friendly greeting. Food was delicious. I had the home made chicken and ham pie. Loads of fabulous cakes to choose from too.

Really good Italian, very tasty food. Service good and it was very busy.

Accommodated a late booking. Lovely, friendly staff and great food.

Meg and Tom couldn’t do more to help. Super friendly and accommodating! Food is homemade and great. Good selection of drinks too. Pool table, and Long distance darts also available 😉 Love it.

Absolutely top notch. The fish and batter excellent Chip’s amazing. Was lucky to find today on my way home. I owned a chip shop in the seventies . Finally the service very friendly 👍

So midweek late afternoon visit. Pub pretty empty. Food was excellent, I had steak ciabatta & chops , pretty much spot on. Nachos to start which are lovely. So why a tricky review? 1. It was absolutely freezing in the pub (I don’t tend to feel the cold….) We ate with our coats on!!!! 2. The music was far too load, ok for 9pm on a Friday night but not 3pm in the afternoon. 3. Service was good but could have been better, had to get our own menus after being shown to a seat? Hopefully this is just a one off as it’s a great place with lovely food. Please turn the heating up & the music down!

Never seen anything like it, grandma and teenagers loved it. We sat in the coke truck, the staff were excellent, Summer was especially friendly and helpful. Great choice of food and delicious! The milkshakes are huge had to take them away with us. I think the prices are regular and with that decor and atmosphere well worth it. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Fantastic place for a party.

Food excellent, staff great, room wonderful, would have got 5 but the rooms are getting ready for a clean up really.

Fabulous place with lovely food and a great atmosphere. Just next to the canal so great to sit outside in the warmer months.

Visited at the weekend with friends, had tomato and basil soup, with garlic, seasalt and tomato flat bread, it wa so good, that I took my hubby there yesterday for lunch, and had the same! Lovely staff, decor is fab. Definitely recommended 👌
