The best restaurants in Brock Wyre North West

Impromptu visit today. Approx 11am & cafe mega busy, booking advisable! We hadn’t booked but luckily got the last free table. Coffee & bacon / egg barm, all done very nicely. Only minor issue is we weren’t offered any sauce when the waitress brought the food, had to go back to counter & was swiftly resolved!

Called in here by chance on a bimble around the Preston area. This is a lovely tearoom with a simple, down to earth menu and great location in the heart of the Fylde countryside. We had sandwiches which were immense, and stuffed to the gills with our chosen fillings. They might be better described as doorsteps! The owner also has many bric-a-brac and fashion items for sale. In all a very pleasant visit to a traditional tea room in the heart of the beautiful North Lancashire countryside.

Manager/owner was ignorant. We turned up on time for our booking at 5.30 and were shown by the waitress to a table for four As we were choosing our food from the menu the manager came over and insisted we moved to a table for two even though the place was empty. There was no apology or offer to stay at the original table until a booking turned up. When we left the place was still empty although he insisted every table was booked that night. So 30 minutes later I rang to book a table for four later that evening and lo and behold there was a table available Place decorated more like a canteen with breeze block interior walls and wood panels that need varnishing Avoid like the plague

Meg and Tom couldn’t do more to help. Super friendly and accommodating! Food is homemade and great. Good selection of drinks too. Pool table, and Long distance darts also available 😉 Love it.

Absolutely top notch. The fish and batter excellent Chip’s amazing. Was lucky to find today on my way home. I owned a chip shop in the seventies . Finally the service very friendly 👍

So midweek late afternoon visit. Pub pretty empty. Food was excellent, I had steak ciabatta & chops , pretty much spot on. Nachos to start which are lovely. So why a tricky review? 1. It was absolutely freezing in the pub (I don’t tend to feel the cold….) We ate with our coats on!!!! 2. The music was far too load, ok for 9pm on a Friday night but not 3pm in the afternoon. 3. Service was good but could have been better, had to get our own menus after being shown to a seat? Hopefully this is just a one off as it’s a great place with lovely food. Please turn the heating up & the music down!

Never seen anything like it, grandma and teenagers loved it. We sat in the coke truck, the staff were excellent, Summer was especially friendly and helpful. Great choice of food and delicious! The milkshakes are huge had to take them away with us. I think the prices are regular and with that decor and atmosphere well worth it. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Fantastic place for a party.

Another great stay at guys. As usual room lovely and clean, comfy bed. Can highly recommend the nibble trays at £16.95 it's a bargain and plenty for 2 people. Lively breakfast this morning. Attentive staff.

Had a lovely visit to your car park. I stopped to rest my eyes for just a minute. When I woke up I saw a blue Volvo parked up with what looked like a Arne slot lookalike with his Nana. He must of been helping her practice apple bobbing as he had his hand on the back of her head and was bobbing it up and down. The apples must of been in his lap tho as there wasn’t enough space for a bucket of water. Good on him tho.

Visited at the weekend with friends, had tomato and basil soup, with garlic, seasalt and tomato flat bread, it wa so good, that I took my hubby there yesterday for lunch, and had the same! Lovely staff, decor is fab. Definitely recommended 👌
