Brockholes Arms Pub & Restaurant in Wyre

I never really bother to right reviews but we were in the area and wanted somewhere to have some good food and watch the football, we called up and even with 11 in our group they were able to squeeze us in without much notice. Service was fantastic, food and beer prices were extremely good considering how tasty the food was and how crisp the pints were. Busy atmosphere and warm feel to the pub Would definitely recommend Thanks for looking after us 🦡

Three of us had main meals at lunchtime today. Very impressed with the food and service was good. Atmosphere was quiet but with background music.

Just had the worst roast dinner ever roast beef too tough to cut , they didn’t even have a steak knife to cut it vegetables disgusting, paid £15 for an aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire pud because that is all that was edible

The only thing I didn't like was the waitress got a dog dish took it outside to the dog and didn't wash her hands.

Nice pub. Road can be a bit busy though for sitting outside.

Lovely food Reasonably Priced Friendly Staff and good service

Ordered on line for home delivery, food arrived on time & still mega hot. Nachos & chicken & chips. Massive portion of nachos with all the trimmings, totally amazing. Chicken & chips outstanding with a yummy gravy. Faultless!

If like me you're a Sunday Roast lover then you MUST come here. Perfectly cooked roast beef with all the trimmings (even included cauliflower cheese). A proper home cooked dinner.. It might have taken us a while to find this place but we will definitely be back. The hunt for the best roast is over - Brockholes Arms you're the winners. Finished off with an apple crumble and custard to die for 😋😋

Visited last night with 2 friends. Service was really good. I had gammon, massive portion & beautifully cooked, really tasty. Other dishes all well received by our party & nothing was left. Dog friendly & plenty of room. Excellent!

First time we’ve tried a home delivery from The Brockholes, it definitely won’t be our last. 2 x chicken in a basket, really really good with amazing sides of coleslaw & gravy. Not a morsel was left & all delivered within 45 minutes of ordering. We have precious little options for home delivery in the area, Brockholes will now become a regular / go to. Well done, highly recommended.

New owners Have turned it into a cracking little local pub really friendly atmosphere enjoy sitting round the logburner another plus really Dog friendly !!

It's not often that you get a meal that is worth every single penny, but the Brockholes Arms delivered this and exceeded our expectations. We all throughly enjoyed our meals, the staff were lovely and very accommodating and the environment is so lovely and cosy. It was an amazing experience and we will be coming back again!

Great selection of pop and rock on the speakers from the 80s to the 00s. The food wad tasty well presented and in generous portions. Staff where very polite and friendly and made us feel at home. Just wish there was more choice on the menu. Highly recommended the Fish and Chips.

Wow!!must have came in at wrong time as thus may have been the worst Sunday lunch I could have had ! Was cold and had 2 roast potatoes the size of walnuts!

It's many years since have visited this pub it has had a refurb since then . They have tastefully modernised but still kept some if the original charm . My husband is fussy when he's eating out and the table we had been allocated was in the middle of the room very close to the bar we asked Meganto be moved and it was no problem . Now to the food we had pate and the shrimp for starters the shrimp was well cooked and a little spicy and I loved it . The pate wasn't to my husband's liking it was quite dry and the onion marmalade was in the bottom of the pot but it was plentyfull. Mains were delicious and well presented . Megan our server was lovely very helpful and polite a credit to the pub. Would return but just wouldn't have the pate .

This is our local, having called in on rare occasions over the last 15 years, delighted it's now been given a new lease of life. Had Sunday roast here which was really well prepared, tasty and good value.

Not even left the building yet but felt the need to leave a review! Had 3 starters and 3 of the Sunday roasts and can honestly say it's the best meal I've had in a LONG time! The beef was honestly the most perfectly cooked beef I've had with a Sunday roast, veg was perfect, wonderful home made gravy... Literally cannot express how impressed and satisfied I am with absolutely everything about the experience. 10 out of 10. Seems to be thriving under new management!

First visit for Sunday lunch, nice pub , bar staff were very friendly. The lady with blonde hair who took out food order was very nice ,I had the roast beef dinner was delicious and Eton mess fir dessert again beautiful, definitely recommend 👌

Three of us had a different meal, food was well cooked beef and Guinness pie best I have had, my partner had Cheese and Onion pie, her mother 92 years young had chick breast she cleared her plate. Thank you for your warmness and professional service.

Had mains and desserts, excellent linguine and salmon mains, sticky toffee pud and eton mess dessert. Good choice of drinks. Attentive no rush friendly service.

Love what they have done with the place. We went for a meal last night and food was delicious and good atmosphere. Cheeky puddings were excellent too. Plenty of choice behind the bar too. Will defo be going back for more!

Had a lovely meal and the staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. My only gripe was I was quite noisy when it was busy, having no soft furnishings, as all modern pub are now. However, I would definitely recommend it for a great night out

Enjoyed a lovely cheese and onion pie, with chips, peas and a pot of gravy - real comfort food! 😋 We'd also recommend the burgers. Coffee was good too and our 4 legged friend was welcome.

Sunday roast was gorgeous. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and a few little games, cards and colouring for the kids. Would definitely recommend.

Very quiet when we went which is a shame as it's a very pleasant place . Freshly refurbished, with a lovely real fire and cosy atmosphere. Good pint of Oscars beer.

The owners expect to be opening in April 2021 Covid-19 lockdown regulations permitted.

Lovely pizzas and starters. Only issue was it also doubles as a pub and as a result, the atmosphere isn't great on a week night.

Terrible cold takeaway pizza that we waited 35mins for. No management presence and the service staff are quite rude.

Cosy place good atmosphere with good food

Delicious food. However , the room was quite . cold and there was no House red wine, £14, 12℅ ,even though we were one of 3 couples who asked for it.Next choice of wine was £19 !’'No House red wine on Valentine s Eve ???

Chicken lovers as a main course = perfect

BAD POINTS We had leek and potato soup for starters, we saw the cook eating from what looked to be a shop bought tub of leak and potato soup. We also saw further jars of what looked to be pasta sauces! The bill had been fluffed where they had added an extra dink 1 pint £4 to the bill! The food was average the portions were lacking. Not worth the trip. GOOD POINTS Staff were friendly Clean enough.
