Amazing friendly service. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast. As visitors to the area for the weekend the experience we had was amazing.

Had a curry delivery on 14th April 2025 the chicken tikka madras @£8.00 it was salty beyond belief. We rang to complain and were told that they were very sorry and that for the next order would be free of charge.We had ordered online. We ordered several other items on that particular order. Today when we rang to make an order again their reaction was absolutely abysmal 😡 we were told they would look into it and were made to feel liars. We always order online from them and we cannot express our disappointment enough. As we speak they are sending a curry as compensation for the worst curry my partner has tasted in his life!! A curry for a curry would be perfectly acceptable, but we are less than impressed with the woman dealing with it. By all means order your meals from this place, as I have previously found it of good quality but if things go wrong I am afraid it is a very different story.

Went on Saturday, having visited their sister restaurant 8 in Liverpool. I have to say it didn't disappoint a table of 5 and all of us loved every dish,

Just finished my burger from Velvet and for the first time in my life, I called them immediately to tell them it’s the best burger I’ve had in AGES. Honestly, not getting paid for this 😂. And garlic butter fried as well👌🏻. Seriously, you need to try these burgers. And, it was still hot when it got here. 6****** review

The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully plated. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Stopped at Hannah’s before walking to Hilbre today. It was a great choice and I would highly recommend it. Service was excellent as was the food. Really good.

Great food but I wish the chips were a touch crispier!

Just after it opened,5.45pm, we rang for a takeaway to collect, at 20 mins notice,,Banquet A, for two. It was very prompt, beautifully packaged, included fortune cookies and Prawn Crackers. We always have every confidence in the place although we usually dine in, not takeaway. What has gonecwrong? I see other people wonder about change of ownership( doubt that) or change of Chef. We dashed home ravenous after a day's childminding.The soup was nothing short of magnificent. Unfortunately after that it was downhill. In our 70s we have spent several decades enjoying Chinese food (even in China) and Liverpool, with visting Chinese friends. OrientalDelight is not the gourmet pricey end of things and we know that but we choose it because it's always good food,great value, reliable, highly popular. However: the crispy rolls, samosas+ deepfried chicken wings not only looked greasy, they were shockingly greasy- I removed the wrapping totally. What happened to the egg fried rice? It tasted.... unusual? Even reheating it from the day before might explain it? But they were closed the day before( Monday), surely it'd be made freshly? There was something not quite right, even the yellowy colour looked unappetising. Meat in the sweet' sour chicken and beef with green peppers was both miniscule and spongey. The sweet'n sour had been heavily extended using onion, very, very little carrot, 2 pieces of pinapple. But never mind the detail, the taste was all wrong. Thank goodness for the chicken+ sweetcorn soup. Come on OrientalDelight!

Nice clean room/bedding. As premier inn's go, this appears to be a slightly better one. The reception staff were particularly good and welcoming. Just be wary, there is a pub next door, so perhaps not ideal for a Friday/Saturday night if you want a quiet one.

You need to check they’re actually open before ordering online! Have ordered online through their chefonline website, pre paid - when I arrived to collect was told they were closed (this was before their closing time according to their website). Very disappointing after a long shift. Hope I can manage to get the money back!!
