The best restaurants in Prenton Wirral North West

This was our first visit to Oxa. My sister lives locally and had been wanting to try it for some time. The atmosphere was perfect, background music was lovely and the staff were helpful and approachable. The chefs - Jake and Connor - delivered excellence at every course and Alex provided great service with a smile. I am coeliac but every care was taken to see that my meal was as good as everyone else's. Believe me, this is not usual when catering for a dietary requirement. The gluten free bread was divine, and Jake even gave me the recipe which I will certainly try. We will certainly be back, and would recommend it to those foodies who love to be surprised by every course. Top marks Oxa. It's a gem.

Popped in for the first time today and had a coffee served by a friendly member of staff. There was a relaxing feel to the place which was spotless and "covid safe". We enjoyed the coffee so much that we stayed for another! We.ll definitely return x

Today ordered fish chips and peas fish just batter with very little fish chips not cooked warm ups last time it was £6 this time nearly £11 ,greedy shop owner won't be goi g back

Today 20.11.2024 I had the worst experience at the branch in Birkenhead, after I ordered at 7.50pm with order number 59. I asked the woman at the cashier, I asked her how long it takes, she answered that 15 minutes, I came back after 15 minutes and asked her again if my order was ready, she answered yes, but actually I waited another 15 minutes, so I waited 30 minutes, why do I have to be lied to 2 times in a row by this young lady who does not know how to speak or behave with customers, I mention that they were already serving other customers with higher numbers as big as mine 60,61, no rules are respected anymore and there is no common sense, shame on you

I bought small fish and chips with peas, I was astonished that it cost 9.50!!! It was very nice, i was completely shocked at the price!:can't afford to do that often, my daughter was out for dinner, but if she'd have been home it would have cost just shy of 20 pounds for two small Cod and chips...unreal! This was at the Claughton chippy.

Pizza had about 4 pizzas worth of cheese on it, slices weren't evenly cut, and was loaded with grease. Only managed to have one slice. The chips and garlic bread were nice tho

pefect was here today the staff were lovely as always my sausage nugger was perfect and with my free cake aswelll ice bun perfect breakfast

Met friends here before going next door to OXA for a meal. The Library was quite busy with a good atmosphere. The manager/ owner (?) was quite festidious which was not a problem. We may call back for a light bite and drinks. Thanks.

Lovely little coffee shop with a wonderful Turkish breakfast. Reasonably priced, fresh food that I'll be back for!

The Saddle Club recently hosted my Dads funeral reception. From the outset, the staff were amazing. Very slick, and on the day, everything went perfectly and the food was more than enough and delicious. What a great venue. Thanks
