Lovely little cafe located in prenton, the food is always cooked to perfection 👌I would recommend the donner wrap as its my fav 😍 😋 and the coffee is always on point😋, my grandparents love to come here as there is a homely environment the staff are always so welcoming 🫶and always willing to help with enything that comes there way, and work very hard, the managers are so friendly would recommend this cafe to enyone especially familys as the priceing is brilliant and affordable and is always a good time.

Read the reviews and thought the food would be nice but I was wrong. Paid £9.50 for a jacket potato with salad. Tiny potato with tuna and sweetcorn sandwich filler and a few strands of lettuce.

Great food, great service, Turkish breakfast is really good! And accommodated gluten free no probs.

Dreadful Ordered the English breakfast which was totally inedible. Waitress, when clearing the plate didn’t even ask what was wrong even though it was obvious nothing had been touched. Menu says eggs can be cooked any way so I requested poached and received fried. Awful deep fried sausage. Hardly any butter on toast and waitress argued when I asked for more. Coffee was very nice. But £20 paid AVOID this restaurant

When you visit, get the Turkish breakfast. Wow!! It was super tasty and really reasonably priced for the amount of food you get, which is loads! The coffee here is nice too and there are booths to sit in which is always a nice touch

The curly haired blonde waitress was rude from the off and clearly had an attitude, had a face of disgust after I asked if basic question about where we could sit. We immediately left as this was completely unacceptable. There’s £50 for breakfasts they won’t be getting from us.

I had the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. It was very nice, pancakes were tasty, light and fluffy, streaky bacon and plenty of it and seemed to be proper maple syrup as well. 10/10. Also thank you for the free cake, I was scratching my head wondering if I had ordered it by mistake 😂

Don't order a full English here, cheap sausages, HP and heinz sauce bottles filled with cheaper sauces, you could see the bottles had been washed out the labels were wet, toast turned up pale as anything had to send it back to be toasted. Beans came in the smallest little dish but again cheap quality, cant say it was cheap either 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks came to nearly £30. The Coffee was the only decent thing food was dreadful. The girls who serve are lovely but the chef cant cook. Its a shame because its got potential to be a nice cafe

i don’t even no where to start after the reviews i was exited! no am just livid 🤣 so the chips where nice give them that the club sandwich chicken and bacon was the worse thing ever seen it’s was the one filling you get from farmfoods am sure just mayo and chunks of something i don’t no 🫤 the bacon butty 2 small pieces of bacon for 6.50 even the toast was small lol and the eggs and bacon was thrown together was ok but cold not enough sauce but to top it off the cake i paid for was 5.50 didn’t come and they said can’t do anything about it!! i’ve got pics and be making a formal complaint as am in shock never again

we ordered two avo breakfasts and two smoothies. The breakfast was really tasty but quite small - just one piece of toast with the avo and two little poached eggs. It also had dried fruit as well as seeds on it, which was unusual! But we enjoyed it. The smoothies were small for the price, but so full we had to open them over the sink to get the straws in! What was really nice was that they'd included a large chocolate muffin as a freebie. Expensive for quantity but tasty

Food arrived hot and well cooked. The only slight issue I would say is that the mushroom portion was tiny and the sausages were a bit bland. However, All in all it was an enjoyable breakfast at a decent price. The staff seem very nice and so was the delivery driver. I will definitely order from here again.

We visited here yesterday for the first time. There was a lovely warm atmosphere immediately you walked in. The staff made us very welcome and gave us time to view the menu. We ordered the Veggie Breakfast which was beautifully cooked and presented. It was obvious care and attention to detail was paramount. My coffee latte was also delicious and very creamy. Will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend this Coffee Shop, which after viewing the menu is indeed far more than a coffee shop. Thank you

Really Disappointed after reading all great reviews.. expected much better quality for the price of the food .. Pancakes and bacon was nice but standard for over £10. Sorry but The breakfast was poor, was tasteless , poor quality sausage , potato tots instead of hash browns , bacon was hard like it had been precooked and left on a hot top for a while, egg whites undercooked like jelly even beans had no taste 👎 Enjoyed the fresh brew latte . Waste of over £40.

My husband and I are regular visitors here. The staff are lovely, warm and friendly, the service is excellent and so is the food. Always beautifully presented. Today for a change we tried the Turkish breakfast and it truly was delicious, the beef sausage was very tasty and the cheese with filo pastry was gorgeous, will definitely try it again

The Grind House is an excellent café from every point of view. The quality of our food was very high and the general atmosphere was friendly and service was 5 star. We will be coming to the Grind House every time we come to the Wallasey/ Birkenhead area from now on.

Took my 85 year old Mum in for breakfast. Staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. Food was magnificent. She happily polished off a full English breakfast and a pot of tea, whilst I had the fantastic Turkish breakfast and a cappuccino. A great experience all round, and I can't wait to go back

Fluffy pancakes and lovely breakfast, eggs were cooked perfectly 😊 I'm going to assume they'd ran out of beans but they made up for it by sending me a large muffin with a lovely note. 10/10 would recommend. (my only very small issue was the price of a small bottle of coke) thanks 😁 x

Oh my goodness never again £7,95 for a panini I orderd chicken bacon , thinking sliced chicken and real cooked bacon instead it was filled with the sandwich filler that you by in tubs chicken bacon in mayonnaise ,😂😂🙈🙈🙈 I scraped it out and put some chips on panini , daughter ate her because she was starving and today got a bad stomach , do not get a panini , yuk yuk and yukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk should of gone to bendricks, oh also they do creamy cheese onion so I imagine that’s sandwich filler and coranation chicken that’s probably tubed sandwich filler too , I dont buy it from Aldi or Asda so I don’t want it on a panini that’s cost £7.95 The women opposite had eggs Benedict she wasn’t impressed and we smelt so bad of grease on are clothes when we came out 0/10 avoid avoid this place rip off and very cheap ingredients, false advertising to , and to the owner don’t come back with any bull either you use tubs of sandwich fillers on hot bread vile

I'm a sucker for Eggs Benedict, and whilst Grind House may be the only restaurant on the Wirral to offer it - let me tell you, they make it to *perfection*. I work for a high-end London based hotel brand, who charge more than double what Grind House charge, and if it came down to blind taste test, I'd not be able to tell the difference. Add to that the lovely personal touch that they add in for free on every order, just makes the whole experience that much nicer. Top marks, Grind House!

Good breakfast, a little on the expensive side but was good quality with most the items separate in a nice box. Wasn’t dripping in oil like some places 👍

Amazing food. The quality of the breakfast I ordered was impeccable. The eggs were cooked to perfect and the food was all still hot. None of it was greasy and I thoroughly enjoyed eating it. They also threw in a giant muffin which was a great surprise. Thank you.

Times kept changing on delivery but I suspect that was because it’s Boxing Day so our bad 😅 - food was lovely and some superb customer service, really nice cafe!

Delivery was fine but pancakes came with strawberries and blueberries on top which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. I’m allergic to strawberries so couldn’t eat the pancakes as the strawberries weren’t in a sealed container.

Still needs some TLC but getting there

Staff were really friendly and the coffee was nice however we were so disappointed with our cooked breakfasts. All of the food was extremely greasy and our clothes and hair smelt like grease afterwards! We also found the food really bland, lacking in any flavour. The veggie sausages were awful (deep fried vegetables in a sausage shape)-I’d recommend meat-substitute sausages instead which is what every other cafe serve as standard with veggie breakfast. We thought the food was significantly overpriced for what it was and the interior could also do with a freshen up as all of the furniture was quite tired looking.

Everything on our lunch was deep fried. I didnt even think you could deep fry falafel? It was like concrete. Deep fried halloumi? Really. Good job I had rennies at home.

As a self Employed person, this is the cutest, most relaxing cafe I’ve been to in a while. Reasonably priced food and coffee. Food is absolutely gorgeous! Chef is definitely 10/10 just had poached eggs and avocado on sour dough bread! Bitter sweet!!!! I’ll be back
