Pretty good biryani… lots of good quality chicken. Delivery was good (to canal tow path!). Would eat again there. Thanks for a great meal guys!!!!!

Brilliant cafe. Friendly staff. Inclusive workforce which is wonderful to see. Food is amazing we had sandwiches and handmade cakes. Teas and coffee. Relaxed welcoming environment. Wheelchair accessible. A Wide range of diary, gluten free, vegan alternatives available. Lovely ice cream counter. Definitely recommend a visit. 🥳 5 stars.🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Also has bathroom facilities. Dogs welcome.

Really nice pub, food was good and service was excellent. And literally a stones throw away from the train station.

Been to the Purple Pakora three times over the last month and unfortunately it’s been virtually empty. The reputation of the place had gone down over a few years but seems like they have a new chef and staff and the service and food is now really good, probably the best curry available in the Stockport’s area. I’d certainly recommend a visit as am sure you will not be disappointed.

Don’t go if you fancy some nice fresh ‘chippy chips’ Went in, no muffins, ok, not a major catastrophe. Just ordered chips. 2 seconds later out from the back with a bag of chips in a plastic bag. No ‘salt and vinegar?’ Asked. Just handed over. Clearly been bagged up a while. Asked for S&V and put on my own. Got to car and tasted one! Most definitely oven chips 🙈………hard and dry! Oh well, lesson learned

Terrible. Don’t go. Why? Because it’s never been open when I’ve been! Just walked out there today with my daughter, and we hoped to have lunch and drinks. But it was shut, despite stating it’s open on a Tuesday from noon. This is the THIRD time I’ve been (all different days and times) and it was shut each time. I’ve checked the website and socials and there’s no indication they’re shut. Terrible service for such a remote pub.

First visit and really liked the decor, ambiance and lunch menu. Will definitely be returning next time we are out walking in Marple!

Rachel and her team was amazing this morning with a 32 piece platter at really short notice! Nothing was too much trouble and the food was fantastic! Fillings on sandwiches were mega full and fresh! Thank you so much, highly recommended 😊

Unfortunately owned by a large chain who impose the accountants view on how to run a coffee shop. It's not a restaurant, it's a cafe in a garden centre. Minimal menu after 1130 breakfast over. Small selection of cakes and hot cross buns, but they are cold. They don't do tea cakes toast or hot cross buns after 1130. You can order a meal, but no small items
