Armaan Indian Cuisine in Stockport

Used to be our favourite take away in Marple Bridge and always liked their food, however last few orders from Armaan were a compete disappointment- food either been delivered hours later after ordering it or not arriving at all!!! Won’t be using them again

Had really high hopes for this takeaway. Unfortunately we definitely won't be ordering from here again. The mixed starter was soggy and the sheek kebab oozed water when biting into it. The butter chicken curry was more like a very watery korma. The chicken tikka chilli masala was basically an extra hot madras. The garlic nan had hardly any garlic on it and the peshwari had hardly any coconut. Couldn't even eat my curry due to the obscene amount of spice. Even with 25% off it came to £43.53 which is just ridiculous for such a poor quality meal. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Well I really can't see what all the 5 star reviews are for. I can only assume the ones calling it the best place they've ever been to are fake. Either that or the people posting them have only ever eaten gruel and are mental. This place is bang average. If nowhere else was open, and I was desperate for a take away curry, then I still wouldn't order from here again. There are far better options in the area. Non of the food looked freshly cooked, just warmed up. My chicken was dry and tough, the rice looked second hand but the pakoras were nice. Staff were friendly enough and they were efficient but when I arrived to pick it up there was a young lad (delivery driver maybe) slouched on the couch on his phone making the place look untidy and unprofessional. I won't be returning.

Literally the nicest kebab I've ever eaten, the nicest lads I've ever been served with and just generally the best experience I've had since moving to the area. We will most certainly be back!!

Delicious hot freshly cooked food, best Indian food I have had for a long time. Ordered and delivered in 30mins, piping hot and freshly made.

Terrible food. firstly they sent the wrong curry and then when I rang to complain they kept hanging up the phone. first and last time I will order from here, curry is watered down and the chicken doesn't look or taste like chicken, we've had to throw it away! avoid this place

What an amazing takeaway, the food is amazing and so tasty. I wouldn't go anywhere else now after tasting thier food. The kebabs are so falvoury. So generous with the kebabs not like the skinny ones you get from other kebabs houses. It's my husbands birthday today and ordering the kebab special, looking forward to not being disappointed.

Literally the best kebab in the area, if not the best Donner kebab I've had, lovely soft naan, kebab meat delicious and the chilli sauce another level!!!!

I am 78 years old and tonight ordered lamb vindaloo rice and spiced papa doms and enjoyed probably the best takeaway I’ve ever had

Really tasty food. Not too oily, full of flavour, good quality ingredients. Food can be delivered (cash only), kids menu. I had king prawns tonight, they were epic 😋.

Armaan 🍛 First time trying this place tonight and I wasn't disappointed probably one of the nicest curries from a takeaway I've had, full of flavour with large tender chunks of chicken I wasn’t disappointed. Delivery was quick and driver very friendly. Definitely worth a try 10/10 😛 🙌 👍

I really wanted to like this place especially with all the good reviews. My partner really enjoyed his but I wasn't so keen. I found it salty and didn't like having to fish out cardamom pods and cinnamon bark whilst eating, sorry.

Food so tasty here. We ordered Indian Railway lamb dish. It was one of the best Indian dishes we've ever had! Order it with garlic nan and thank me later! 😋 I'll be ordering more food soon.

Really lovely and delicious food. We live on compstall road and was apprehensive as the curry place before wasn’t great at all but thank goodness we tried it because it was so fresh and tasted amazing. Had prawn tandoori, chicken tikka masala, mixed kebab, Bhuna and other sundries all very generous portions and tasted amazing. Lovely staff too, let us push pick up time back. Impressed ⭐️ Hope they keep up the good standard 👍
