This establishment has improved,the mixed chicken and donner Kebab had plenty of meat which was succulent. The Salad was also plentiful and fresh. What lets it down is the bread I ordered the Kebab on Naan. Basically it was a large tortilla type wrap. If this was better then they'd be hard to beat.

We only ordered from here as a last resort and instantly regretted it !! All 4 of us hated the food. Revolting soggy chicken kebab for nearly £10,

We visited for a takeaway. The spicy wings were frozen and just deep fried. The chicken kebab was of less than great quality. Thss as t said, they got my wife’s pizza wrong but changed it without quibble. Would eat there again, in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

My 5 year old was eating her pizza when she pulled something sharp out of her mouth. When I took it off her to inspect it is clearly someone’s finger nail that had been imbedded into the pizza. We won’t be ordering again

One word and one word only SHOCKING. AVOID AT ALL COSTS they brag about how much their stock is worth and bad mouth every other takeaway in the area. Claim they are halal and told us after food arrived that it is not halal and offered only half a refund as owner wanted to cover his high costs. We only got this after explaining again and again. Would not recommend should’ve checked the reviews before going to this place.

2 kebabs. One looked ok, one was pathetic. We live 1 mile away, waited an hour kebabs & fries cold when arrived. Tub of chilli sauce missing from order. Which we paid for. Wont be using again

Ordered 2hrs 11 minutes ago. Food just arrived. Literally chicken needs putting in some bread with salad. Not even any sauce. Terribly complicated it seems. Took 30 mins apparently for the driver to get 2.1 miles. Think it can be walked in almost that time.

Had a ‘chicken’ kebab on Nan, I never write bad reviews, but this was THE WORST chicken kebab I have had the misfortune to eat. Beware, you have been warned Eat here only if the rest of the world is on lockdown & you haven’t eaten for 5 days

Proper disappointing, just warm after asking for a 19.45 collection. Felt like the order was done earlier. Charged £29 when only £25 on the menu . Lesson learned

Ordered a kebab tonight all salad sauce on naan bread ... just received it on pitta bread 4 pieces of meat on it it deffo not kebab meat no sauce or anything never again the smallest donner kebab i have ever seen, had to order chips etc to get the price up to 10 pound big thumbs down

Excellent food, freshly prepared and delivered in a decent time frame. Very good value for money with generous portion sizes. Service is always delivered with a smile both delivery and in the shop. Highly recommend.

You delivered a chicken kabab with mayo instead of garlic sauce also the other kebab had a hot and spicy sauce instead of instead of garlic sauce also the chicken burger had no mayo on that was ordered At least you got the fries right We ate because it took so long as we were hungry Now later I am regretting eating the kebab.

Kebabs are good. But all too often things are missing from the order. Once again tonight no can of diet coke.😡

i ordered from here on friday just 2 kababs and a garlic bread it took 2 hrs to arrive and was cold spoke to manager who informed me they had sent 4 orders out together mine was the last so he wasnt surprised it was cold. he informed me not to eat the food he would send fresh.another hour passed food arrived yes it was cold so again i spoke with the manager who was rood told me i lived 3.6 miles away and if id ordeded cheese on my garlic bread it would off stayed warmer.absolutely fuming as he refused to give me my money back just gave me a phone number to ring. now monday morning and i cant get any answer.wont be having there again very rude manager they need to change him before he looses them more customers

Marple is not great for food takeway options. Particular fastfood - there are many nice resturants and were lucky but fast food options are limited in quantity and quality. Marple express highlights in the quality aspect . Its a terrible takeaway ,and i remeber it being better ? maybe i wasnt 100% sober . After a few beers and a stagger home , i stopped here , got a tray of donner and a pizza . It was just ok , and i woke up the next day to see what i had eaten and was gobsmacked. the pizza was almost illumunious and the kebab was like jelly . Awful -- fast forward 18 months , circumstances , led me to go here again and wow ,i remember how bad the food is, Absolutly starving , i left the entire kebab , after 1 taste . i would recommend for better food , any of the dog food isles in any supermarket . The Bin outside hoping someone has thrown away an half eaten sandwhich ... or even your own hand ! anything else is better

Took over 2 hours to arrive on a Sunday evening. Ordered at 5.50pm and finally arrived at 8.00pm after I phoned and was told it was on its way. That wasn't the worst of it! The Popcorn Chicken had melted its way though the polystyrene foam box and had obviously been put in went too hot. This is not fit for consumption and is a health hazard. If they don't care about this then they probably don't care about other health hazards in their food. Worrying!

Paid for a peri peri meal deal which includes drinks. Ended up paying for the drinks but didn't realise until we left. The assistant who was serving didn't mention it to me either 🤔

Rude , tracked my order and the minutes went down , they got to 0mins , 10mins later still not take away , 20mins later nothing so I rang , he was like what number? Driver is on the way bye , I was trying to speak and he said bye and put the phone down, finally arrived another 20mins later and the driver had zero manners , I even repeated “Thank you” and he just said yeh yeh , manners cost nothing especially when you have made the error

So food is really nice, but twice now I've ordered garlic bread with cheese and got a cheese pizza.

My Son recommended this takeaway. ‘Best in the area by a country mile’ were his exact words. I was dubious because of the poor reviews here on TripAdvisor. Ordered Peri Peri Chicken and a 9inch Special Pizza with chips. It was all absolutely delicious. Well done.

Was racially abused just coz I’m Caucasian and found numerous hairs on the pizza. I’m un aware which part of the body the hairs were from. So I thought hey ho might add some flavour. How I was wrong!!! Had to call bomb disposal unit to get rid of it. The pizzas are toxic

Foods lovely, fast delivery everytime !!

What have I done to deserve such an overcooked pizza ? :( Wedges and garlic bread were both excellent but the pizza which is usually very good was horribly overcooked. The underside (base) of the pizza was brown and tasted burnt, the cheese had gone hard and toppings were dried up. Not sure if this was left in the oven too long or if it had been prepared and boxed up and left on top of the hot oven for too long, waiting for delivery man to collect it maybe ? This has happened to me previously and before posting I have just read another reviewers comments which would suggest this is an ongoing issue at this take-away. Think I will be avoiding here until they sort this out and would suggest you do the same. I need to know the food I am paying good money for isn't going to be ruined when it arrives.

Worst pizza shop in Marple Never back again

Sorry to say but whenever I go, there's always something I'm annoyed at. The Marple Express Special kebab is a case in point. Advertised as 4 types of kebab meat, (Chicken,Shish, Seekh and Donner). When they put it together I asked where the seekh was and I was told they hadn't done that for 3 years. When I asked why it was on the menu after 3 years and why I was paying £1.90 more then, I was told I was getting 3 meats instead of 2. When I said that the menu says 4 meats they basically made out I was being awkward. Go to Harlequin instead for a kebab or burger. Go to any of the Indians for an Indian.Go here if you want customer service from the Dark Ages and a complete lottery as to i. what you'll actually get in respect of your order and ii. Its quality.

Friday 16/11/18 I had a flyer through the door thought I would give them a try orded at 18-30pm told it would be one hour, chased the order up at 19-45pm only to be told they were only starting my order 😤 then I cancelled my order

Food great one day, terrible the next! I have ordered many times from here, usually a meal deal as I think the regular menu prices are a bit steep. I have had some nice pizza from here, the wedges are overpriced are often dried up and stale tasting. The main issue I have found however is the pizza arriving horribly dried up and tasting like cardboard. I believe this is due to the chef cooking the pizza and placing it in the box on top of the hot pizza oven. The pizza sits there until a driver is available and slowly continues to ‘cook’, resulting in the dried up ruined pizza I have received on a number of occasions. Guys please don’t leave food on top of the oven for more than a few minutes I would say that I can’t recall any occasion where my order has been incorrect, which is a positive. Delivery can often be quicker than the ETA

Ordered pizza and 2 kebabs was disgusting won't be ordering from their again

Ordered a kebab, it tastes like it was boiled it was surely processed, I was aware the kebabs wasn’t great so I ordered a shish with donner and shish and that was chewy, never again

I ordered fried chicken, chips and 2 dips, they stated it would come within an hour and a half which it did. We recieved the chicken and dips but no chips which we paid for, So rang up stating this and they said we will get some sent out to you which was fine. Over 1 hour later they still hadn't arrived and so rang up again and they said that they will be a further half hour (just for chips). I thought nevermind just give me a refund in which they replied we cant give you a refund, just come in and talk to the manager in which i thought why should I have to come to your restaurant in my time from your mistake to probably speak to someone and get nowhere so it ended there as it didn't seem worth the hassle. The chicken was actually pretty good but the customer service was a disgrace and you would think that a mistake that they've made would be put to priority but obviously not! I can understand that you maybe busy but show some respect for a customer whos ordered off yourselves many times.... so for that you Only get 2 stars!

I don't feel bad in saying this was the worst takeaway I have had in years took two hours to arrive some of the order was missing the rest of the order was cold which meant the chips were inedible and hard as rocks... the onion rings had been put into the styrophome too hot (even though they were freezing when they arrived) which caused the packaging to actually stick to the onion rings..... I'm extremely disappointed ... when calling them they said they would send the next ava driver with fresh chips and onion rings but that's no good when I wanted to eat all of my food together.... and I only ate the burger because after two hours of waiting for my food I had no choice but to eat my cold pathetic badly put together cheap pineapple pieces burger... I was expecting a pineapple ring too and it was just cheap segments out of a can..... the worst takeaway ever!!

Chicken was dry, pizza greasy and god knows how they call that chilli sauce more like flavourless slip! Never eat here again! Husband and I had a meal from here and within an hour of eating are both feeling really unwell!

Used to be the best fried chicken in town. Not anymore, it wasn't even real chicken but processed. Horrible mush. Not happy. We'll be going elsewhere from now on.

The pizza was a bit bland,only margherita but still the cheese was flavour-less and the base was tasteless Had a better £2 pizza from Morrisson's 2 weekso prIor!!All in all,nothing to shout about.

The garlic bread was cold and very burnt! Whoever cooked it would definitely have noticed yet still sent it. Awful!

We've ordered from here quite a few times now and keep returning as the food is great and so far has always been delivered before the time given.

Very nice pizza, cooked to perfection. The rest of the meal was nice and tasty and arrived a bit earlier than expected which was a bonus.

Food was very fresh and lovely wasn't greasy at all. My order arrived before stated time which is always good. Will deffinetly be ordering from here again.

Ordered tray of Donner and a donner on pitta with everything plus salt and lemon. Received donner on pitta with nothing else but disgusting weird vinegary lemon. Meat was sub standard. Gave it another go after a botched pizza order through just eat on that occasion I went back to the shop and they blamed it on just eat 😂 And were rude. There won't be a third time lucky 🍀

Good meat selection, well presented and full of different flavours.

When I called after 15 minutes of waiting for our order they said it was on the way, 30 minutes later it's arrived and it's cold. The delivery man said it was because they had a few deliveries on route, but I don't believe that a 10 minute journey could possibly last half an hour unless they only have one delivery driver. Appalling service, will not be ordering again. Also I asked for no salad and we opened it up to salad: useless.

food was lovely - but I will have to give feedback on just eat as they sent me confirmation that the order had gone through but it hadn't so I had to re-book and my delivery time was another 45 minutes which the take away manage to send 10 minutes early for me however it was late officially as just eat had not processed my order completely. my acct got debited twice as well which I still haven't had a refund for yet!

Horrendous!!!!!? I was putting my children to bed at the time of delivery when the delivery driver took it upon himself to enter my property because I didn't answer the door straight away! He walked into my hall way and into my internal lounge door.....unacceptable!!!!! Food was lukewarm and when when my husband rang to complain about the entire situation ...they hung up the phone on him! Won't be ordering again...and if you do..lock your doors!!!!!!!!!

Delivered early, but I asked for asap. The pizza was freshly cooked and piping hot, gorgeous like usual. Definitely the best pizza's in the area.

Asked for no onions or mushroom on my calzone, which they didn't read, waited until closing to deliver my food so when I realised they made my order wrong they was closed so They didn't answer the phone when I rang, tried to pick it all out but because of how much onion they put in, there wasn't any cheese left, had one slice and threw it in the bin, should of stuck to beans on toast in the first place

All fine with delivery time, but pizza was not thin crust as requested but classic pan. Also, it was caked with cheese typical of takeaway pizzas. The place has recently gone into new management, I hope its just teething issues, the previous owners got 5 star food safety hygiene rating lets see if it holds.

Chicken and chips...... Chicken over cooked to the point it was hard and chewy. Chips over fried and tasted burnt. Not going back!

Absolutely appalling. 50 mins over the original 1hr and a half delivery time. How can it take so long, on a Tuesday night!! The pizzas were cold, the chips were brown and soggy. Definitely will not be ordering from here. Good luck with delivery time on a Friday or Saturday.

This was my first order. Ordered piri piri chicken, came quick and tasted good. Will be ordering again.

Food was soooo fresh and tasty! Our order arrived either early or on time (didn't notice the exact time). Just one criticism about the Pizza....there wasn't a lot of toppings this time. That however, didn't spoil the whole meal. Usually there are pieces left but not tonight...been left wanting more of it! Thank you Marple Express :-)

The meal was a little late (from what I can remember - this review has been posted weeks after the order), but it was hot and fresh when it arrived. The Peri Peri Chicken was moist and tasty however, the seasoning was on the underside of the chicken so you only got to taste it if you 'cleaned' the bones! Also the chips and salad portion included in the meal are too small, particularly the salad - not worth putting in! I always buy a Greek Salad because it is so tasty with lots of fresh ingredients so that made up for lack of salad in the meal. The pizza was very nice. A thin base is what I prefer so it was a nice surprise to have one on the pizza without being asked - not sure if they've changed the base to thin as it's usually a thicker one. We asked for Tango but was sent Pepsi. Maybe they didn't have Tango...no explanation given though so don't know why. As always, we really enjoyed the food and service, Thank you!

Not like thin proper Italian pizzas, but as far as takeaways go its best in the area.

There was nothing wrong with delivery or the service, i just found the food to lack a lot of taste which was disappointing.

Comments weren't read so no extra sauce or salad preference as requested. Bread of a kebab was very wet and soggy because the box was upside down in the bag. Other than that the food was good

They added on 30mins for delivery but then delivered to initial time. As for food not poor, not great but okay as for as takeaway non-gourmet burgers goes same to for chips , nuggets and breaded nuggests.

Placed an order for collection costing £22, the restaraunt added 20 minutes extra onto a 20 minute collection, so would have been easier to wait for collection. We go collect the food, get it home and the pizza we ordered was freezing the box was not even hot so not sure how long they left it sat there for, the donnor meat and chips were cold and soggy and the kebab we ordered was under cooked and had about 6 pieces of meat on, bread was stale and cold. We call the restaraunt to complain where they start arguing with us, we take the food back and again they start arguing and swearing at my partner, turn around and advise they don't do refunds, in the end we've called just eat for a refund. Do not buy from this place, wouldn't even feed it to my dog
