The best restaurants in Weaste and Seedley Salford North West

This is a place we've used in other parts of Manchester, but the first visit here. It really is a smashing place right by the canal and in the heart of the action. As with the others, it has a brilliant range of beers brewed by their own brewery, and they serve very well. The area around it has developed beyond recognition and it was good in the winter so I imagine it would be even better in the summer.

We visited here one evening after watching the cricket at Old Trafford. We were only staying for a drink or two but we realised they did food too. My husband had the kebab (it comes on naan bread not pitta) and our friend and myself had the steak frites. I really want to say this was great, but my steak was absolutely AWFUL. Our friends was much better. I should really have sent it back, but you know when you think it might just be the one end? It was so chewy and I couldn't cut it up, you could see the white bits of sinew in it and I couldn't eat it. I did tell the guy who came to clear the plates and he said "sorry about that" and that he'd tell the chef, but that was it. We'd already paid for it. Hubby's kebab was good and our friends steak. I was just unlucky I guess but I can't believe the chef didn't spot the bits of gristle and sinew before he cooked it. The beer, however, is excellent and there's a good choice. The nice young lady behind the bar let me try a taste of one before ordering it.

I popped in here (it's opposite Salford Uni) with a friend to kick off the day with a Pain Suisse- a lovely chocolate pastry!

Best Chinese I've had in years! Think I ask to put pepper's and more onions. But still beautiful meal!

I ordered from here yesterday evening on justeat waited an hour then they changed the waiting time to another 1 and half hours and there is no telephone number so couldn't even contact them. After Canceling my order was told I won't be getting paid after I spent £25 on my dinner. Robing Cunxx

I actually only popped in the museum to use the toilet but the smell of the soup in the foyer area was so good I also stopped for a snack. I enjoyed a really nice Leek & Potato soup with a chunk of bread and a pot of tea - all served with a smile by a small group of youngsters. The perfect way to break a 5-mile stroll around Salford and Manchester.

Good choice of hot and cold items to choose from

Wagamama Salford is always a solid choice, especially for ramen—it’s my go-to dish, and it never disappoints! The food is fresh, full of flavour, and served quickly, even when it’s busy. The only downside is the seating. When it gets crowded, we sometimes get placed on the long benches with other guests, which isn’t ideal for us. That said, the great food and friendly service keep us coming back!

No free item, no sauce for hashbrowns

Made order at 7:35pm called shop to make sure received and confirmed they had. Latest delivery on email 20:12. Had to phone 20:35 to be told was just leaving shop as been busy. Clearly they had done nothing about my order as took another 25 minutes to be delivered. We live about 7mibs away. Guess what COLD again. I have been going here for years and they did the exact same a couple of months ago and blame bad service bad attitudes and cold food in being busy. Well you won’t be busy with my orders. Liars

Coffee is nice but what is with the new interior? It’s horrendous. Looks like the main aim is for people not to feel cosy enough to stay longer than needed. And why do I HAVE TO have my coffee in take away cup? Would pick a different coffee shop next time.

Over 2 hours wait for delivery. Rang back after 90 minutes and was told it was out with delivery driver. asked how long ago it left and was told they didn't know! Turned up 30 minutes later and i felt to check it was warm. ( it was lukewarm) and he said he only picked it up 15 minutes ago- Somebody's telling lies. Food very average won't be ordering again. Don't like being lied to.
