Salt & Pepper serves a generous amount of food for each order. We got the Salt & Pepper Chicken, the Sticky Beef and the Honey Soy Beef. The flavouring for the different meat was on point - the Salt and Pepper Chicken nicely coated in a savoury batter, and has the taste of what salt and pepper batter would be in Asia, the Sticky Beef, albeit a little too vinegary, had a good amount of sauce and sesame over it, and the Honey Soy Beef satisfies the craving of those who wants something sweet and salty. However, out of the three dishes, we recommend the flank beef. It was less tough than the other two meat - after a while of chewing the chicken and sticky beef left our jaws a little locked and sore. Choose fries over rice - the fries were crispy and fluffy and soaks in the honey soy sauce well (it is what I would come back for). The rice... was not as aromatic as we hoped it would be. Loved the variety of sauces too.
Goods Yard Street The Goods Yard Building, England
The restaurant is clearly very popular, but for me, it was more style than substance.
The good points. Service is very attentive. Lots of team, that seem keen to ensure you have a good time. Food was OK, here is my issue. It's not as good as it could be for the price and image it portrays.
The dishes were all OK on the set menu we chose (£69pp).
The houmous was precisely as one would expect – straightforward and unfussy. The grilled halloumi, however, offered a brighter note, the accompanying yuzu dressing a vibrant counterpoint to the salty cheese. Ribs followed, again competently executed. The single fillet of sea bass, though cooked with precision, felt somewhat diminutive when shared between two, a sentiment echoed by the modest portion of baby potatoes served alongside.
The negatives. A recurring issue that detracted from the overall experience was the tepid temperature of several courses. While not cold enough to warrant a return to the kitchen, the lack of proper heat suggested the inherent challenges of orchestrating service for a considerable number of covers.
Drinks are pricey, cocktails at £15+ and any wine mostly £40+.
It's loud, even for a busy restaurant. I actually quite liked the background music, but it didn't help in making everyone louder to be heard.
It felt as though a large portion of the guests are there for an Instagramable, big night out. Not for the dining experience as a whole.
£225 for 2, I left feeling it was fine, but wouldn't rush to revisit.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in great staff. Cleanliness of rooms is good. Service was good on arrival and the rooms are lovely. Will go back again.
Absolutely amazing place! We were some friends in Manchester to watch the football and stopped by Brunswick and decided to get some breakfast. 3 of my friends chose the traditional "English breakfast" I myself chose "steak and eggs" it was so delicious!
It was so delicious that we came back the next day for more food. This time 2 x "English breakfast" 1 x "chicken waffle" and 1 x "steak and eggs" again the food was top notch. The meat was cooked to perfection medium rare, the eggs and tomatoes had great flavor. The only small finger to put on our 2 food experiences at Brunswick was that the second time we were there they forgot "Heinz beans" at the one "English breakfast", but it was quickly fixed!
Will definitely be back when I hit Manchester again! Thanks for the food.
This is my favourite Chinese restaurant because their food and service is really excellent! They are dog friendly however please have a reservation before you go and the staff will arrange for you.

I cannot rate this place highly enough. The drinks are good, the prices are fair, the seating is comfortable, the service is friendly. This is on my must-come-again list for when I return to Manchester. I'd recommend the scratchings as well. They're lovely and crunchy but don't fight you either like some other scratchings do.

Had a great time at 10 Tib Lane in the city centre. The staff were super friendly and really on it – made us feel welcome straight away and gave us some solid food recommendations.
The food was spot on. Everything we tried was full of flavour and looked amazing too. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the menu and the ingredients are top quality.
The vibe of the place is really cool – kind of cozy and stylish without being too fancy. Nice lighting, good music, and just a relaxed atmosphere overall. Great for a night out with mates or a date.
Definitely one of those places you leave already thinking about when to come back.

Excellent hotel. This is probably the best hotel in Manchester. Service excellent. Staff are very professional, helpful, and lovely. Location is excellent. I wish there were better parking options available.
