Changos in Manchester

Great for a casual dinner and especially when you don’t have much time. There is a brilliant choice of delicious burritos that you get to choose the toppings/extra fillings for. A good value alternative to the usual fast food places with lovely people serving and a nice relaxed atmosphere. You can also have a beer with your meal here.

Lovely and fresh food but stingy amount of nachos and the staff are quite blunt and rush you and if it’s your first time and you don’t know the score it’s intimidating.

Been here before as well as their restaurant in Liverpool. Exactly the type of food I like. You can get spicy food here if you ask.

We have had similar foods but honestly this was by far the best Burrito we have ever had. All freshly made for the way you want. The bread was warm and soft the meats and textures of the flavours, just brillant. Can’t highly recommend this place enough. Helps that you can also eat in if you want or take away too. Prices were fair considering how good it was.

Only my second time, eating in and had a burrito every time. it's so simple but amazing. The menu is clear and straight to the point. Plenty of variety and super tasty. So easy to over order, I just want to try everything. Although very limited on veggie options but I would have the same every time.

Really enjoyed our visit, reasonably priced for a quick bite in Manchester especially when you can sit down for 30 mins! We tried the chicken and the steak burritos and both really enjoyed them

Manchester, Oxford Road. The staff were disinterested in the customer .The burrito was soggy and had to be eaten with a fork , and the tortilla chips tasteless, they don’t have salt to add yourself. The quesadilla were in a container in a steaming hot pile and also soggy and sloppy to eat. The food tasted ok, but we had a wait for the quesadillas having to keep asking staff how long it would be as the staff had forgotten about us and it seemed to take a long time. Would not recommend as wasn’t good value for money, seemed expensive for what we had .

I've visited Listo a number of times when I have been in Manchester and it's one of those lunches which I could never get bored of. There is plenty of choice and the customisation means the possible combinations are endless. Saying that, I tend to stick to the same order. My go to order is a chicken burrito bowl which is all of the filing from a burrito but in a bowl instead of a wrap - much less mess! A nice touch is that ALL of the filings come at a set price based on the meat/non-meat filing. Unlike most burrito places, there is no additional charge for guacamole or veg's. The takeout option is great and wooden cutlery / paper napkins are provided free of charge. Listo have a very handy app which can be used in store so stamps can be collected for each purchase and, there is even an option to pay via the app once a card has been set up on the account. Having been previously, I am sad to see that Listo no longer offers meal deals and the portion sizes have reduced considerable while the prices have risen a lot. Will this stop me go? No. But, I will probably go less frequently.

Loved this place. Food and service were both excellent. It was great to have size options, as well as being able to swap out things like rice for veg to make it a bit more nutritious. Basically, I got 2 of my 5 a-day, and it was so good! Plenty of spice options for those who like a kick, and the flavour and freshness were spot on. The staff were lovely, we had not been before and were unsure how tk order, but they made us feel welcome, and did not rush us to choose. Brading is fab! So funny and the place had a relaxed fun vibe. 10/10 will make a beeline for it my next visit! My only regret? Not getting another to take home!

In Manchester for the cricket and it was raining . . . Needed a nice early lunch and fancied Mexican, Listo burrito did not disappoint to eat like a local and not stick out even ordered a Vimto 🙃

Great take out burritos. Got it from one of the delivery apps. A shame that you can’t put guacamole on them tho as an option.

Delicious burrito and served very quickly. Lots of different options for toppings, at no extra price. Was left wanting more, both because of the great taste, but also due to the slightly smaller than expected size for the price. Will definitely come back but will order a large!

I've been coming to this restaurant for years, even before it was listos. In my opinion, out of the few Mexican restaurants in the area, you guys are by far the best! I stop by atleast once a week (if not more... 👀). Its a meal that tastes great and fills you up for hours! The option to buy you own sauce to take home is great! The Mango and lime is to die for! Been a regular weekly customer since it opened for a delicious lunch during my working day. It has always been a substantial lunch, with generous portions and been very tasty. Unfortunately, in the last few months, it seems to have gone downhill. I ordered a large chicken burrito and I may as well have ordered a small vegetarian option. All I could taste was rice and cheese. Also I cant help notice that the portions have got smaller and the balance of flavours/fillings are off. This isn’t the first time I’ve been disappointed recently and have returned a number of times with the hope it was a one off. I’ve now come to the conclusions, listo burrito has sadly lost its touch and will be going elsewhere for lunch from now on.

This burrito was amazing!!! I had the mango sauce and it really made the burrito taste better than any others I've had!! Really well priced and I liked that guac wasn't an extra. I will definitely be returning and recommending to all my friends and family.

Popped in here for a pre-drinking carb load up, what a good decision that was. Beer and a burrito for £9.99 if you order through the app. I had the chicken with every topping and chipotle sauce, sooo tasty. My girlfriend had the veggie option and said it was super good too. Deffo recommend. A warning however, many napkins required!

We ate here before our theatre matinee. Their burritos are really delicious. We wanted their deal on nachos too, but they don't offer this on weekends, which was a shame. Can't fault their burritos; could have eaten two! Good options for veges.

I’m not from Manchester but came here a couple of times when I visited. The burritos are great and include more stuff than some of the bigger chains (roasted veg and guac). I’m A huge fan of burritos and these are good! More importantly (at the moment) - this place is sparkling clean. I’ve seen so much apathy when it comes to cleaning in recent days, but not here. One of the ladies working there never stopped, on rotation, cleaning the place down. Every single surface wiped, including the walls! It’s good to see and I can see why they are displaying a 5 star hygiene rating. I’m pretty sure they do delivery too. This would make my working from home a little more pleasurable.

Really great burrito I would definitely go back and bring my friends here! Also, the burrito was bigger than my head and everything was so fresh - totally worth the money- it was like £7 for a meal!😊😊

We had a great experience here, the staff was just very welcoming and friendly. The burritos where very tasty (carefull with the jalapeños 😊) although we where expecting bigger size on the big choice.

Changos has just changed its name to Listo (Jan 2020), but is still making the same great burritos. I work nearby and it is a struggle not to eat here everyday!

The best burrito I've had and really good value for money. There is a good selection for meat eaters and Vegetarians/Vegans, friendly staff and great service.

Some of the best burritos around, they cater for vegans so I'm able to enjoy some pretty damn good Mexican food, and reasonably priced for the amount of for you receive as well. And the staff are nice and friendly, always happy to answer any questions you have; also if you haven't used the Changos app before, it makes payment so easy, plus you can get £5 off your first order through it =)

We found ourselves with very little time before a theatre show and popped in to share a large box (they offer all the fillings without the tortilla). It was right before closing time and they only had the chicken left but the meal was fantastic.

Visité aquí para un almuerzo rápido antes de ir al Palace Theatre, que está justo al lado, muy práctico. Hubs is American, and usually moans about the 'Mexican' food available in the UK. However, he was really impressed with the burritos at Changos, and said that they are 'pretty close to authentic'. We each had a medium burrito, which was plenty and kept us going for the night. There's a choice of brown or white rice, black beans (yum!), cheese (no vegan alternative, but hey), salsa, guac and sour cream, as well as different meats, on a medium or large tortilla. Various drinks and free water. They also do nachos.

I have had more than my fair share of burritos, a few hundred more than the next guy. Burritos are like pizza in that, even when they're bad, they're good. But a really, really good burrito can be a truly awesome culinary experience.

Met a girlfriend for lunch here, and had not been previously although I had heard plenty, this has to be the best Mexican in all of Manchester! Really affordable, very fast, loads of options, and so yummy! And we split a pint of ice cream that was amazing. I am having lunch here every day now!

Delicious and spicy burritos which were just the right amount to fill you up. Had lots of flavour and were a reasonable price.

Stopped by for the obvious. Great add one and choices once you've ordered also beers are great didn't try the other thing's.

Changos is always up there on my list of Burrito bars. With a branch both in Manchester and Liverpool it always seems to be within a stone's throw of wherever I end up. Changos always seem to have fresh ingredients and the wraps are bursting with flavour. It's very similar to barburrito, however I'm certain that the quality of food from here is far above that of their competitors.

I moved to Germany 2 years ago, and I didn’t realise how much I would miss Changos! They make the best burritos I’ve ever had the pleasure of devouring. Really reasonably priced and they do student discount too. Our burritos today were delicious, tender and flavoursome. I miss you guys, please open a Berlin branch!

Called in after a concert at the o2 ritz. This is the subway for burritos. will certainly call again. Staff was very friendly and excellent service.

Went with 3 others. Concluded that the actual burritos were some of the best we’d had (chicken & pork) but the ‘Mediums’ were definitely more like a ‘Small’ (not enough filling in the larges, either) and the fizzy drinks from the dispenser all tasted horrible and acetic.

Visited pre showing of Matilda at the theatre, nice selection of different fillings good tasting ingredients and good size burrito. Drinks are expensive... overall great lunch spot

This is the place to go for a burrito, absolutely delicious. Sadly I no longer work near by so don't get the chance to get here much anymore. I always used to get a box with salad in. Everything was always so fresh and tasty. Definitely try here if you are passing

Exactly like subway but for burritos! The choice is good but I think the meats could be a little better. Overall it’s a nice little bite to eat but wouldn’t travel just for Changos.

Had read a lot about this place at Trip advisor with all the ratings & I had to check it myself. The ratings are spot on. We reached this place around 11.43 am & were the 1st ones to enter, I had chicken & my son had pulled pork , the lady at the counter was kind enough to suggest that i avoid the spicest sauce & boy was she right. My son is a very choosy eater & he loved it . I had a corona with my burrito & it was like a perfect combo. We had tried burritos at Wrap it up also, but their is no comparison. I would recommend this place to everyone. Cheers

This place is absolutely perfect for a very filling and tasty lunch. As a vegetarian I felt that there were plenty of options to choose from! It was really delicious although slightly messy to eat, I probably wouldn’t recommend coming here with someone you don’t know well. The place was easy to find and seemed very popular too!

Always a queue down the street at lunchtime but well worth the wait. Slow cooked beef is fantastic, as is the chicken, the pork and the chilli beef. Go for a hot sauce if you can. Perfect

Changos no decente y es buena para burritos el almuerzo. No hay nada destacado para mí, pero al mismo tiempo, no hay nada malo. Se llena de gente durante el almuerzo mucho veces, pero aparte de eso, una opción rápida para conseguir algo de comer.

This can only be based on my experience and I may have been unlucky but I found the lunch I was served very disappointing. Especially so as I had been told by others how good the burritos were.

I had to buy the lads Changos because I came bottom of the fantasy league at work. The online order form was really useful for us to fill in our 7 (ouch!) orders beforehand and pass them over the counter. The burritos were fantastic, loads of tasty filling and just the right amount of spice. The staff were really friendly too - totally recommended.

We just arrived very hungry in Manchester so we were looking for a place to eat fast. We found this place and went in immediately because it looked very nice.

Great place for a quick eat when in the city centre. The Women who served me was very helpful and efficient. No waiting around. Ordered a large Beef Burrito which was very tasty and very filling! Would definitely go back.

Far and away the best burrito bar in town. It doesn't feel like a big franchise, just a small charmingly scruffy place (in an excellent, full of character sort of way).

Changos is a great place for a quick lunch or after-work snack. They have great choices and the prices are clear - no nasty added charges like you can get with other branded chains.

There are a number of burrito bars near Oxford Road and I have tried to try as many as possible with working nearby, but changos is always the one with the queue outside... I now know why! Excellent burritos and absolutely filled to the brim with delicious foods. I went for the pulled pork with everything - insanely good. Can’t wait to come back on my lunch break soon

Mcr needs good burritos and this place always delivers! Personal favourite is the burrito box. You wont regret it

My regular burrito joint. They pack your burrito so much you can barely hold it and don’t charge you extra for things like guacamole like a lot of the other places. Nice chilled out music and atmosphere. Couldn’t give a higher recommendation!

Still easily the best burrito bar in Manchester. It is packed at dinner times (12-2pm) but don't let the queue put you off. It's there for a reason - the burritos are the best.

Kind of like Subway, but for burritos. I appreciated the great number of choices for filling the burrito, and the chicken one I had was very tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff friendly. A great place for a chilled-out meal in central Manchester.

If you're after a burrito, you can't go wrong with Changos. Unlike certain other burrito places in the city, they don't charge any extra for certain toppings so you can load up on all the good stuff, and the ingredients are always hot and taste fresh. It's also great value for money, they don't scrimp here :D

Come here for lunch quite a bit. Usually a queue but goes down fairly quickly. Chilli beef burrito is easily the best burrito I have ever had. Don't think much to the chicken though. Good selection if sauces and varying heats. Love the addition of crushed up Nachos.

Service was quick but the woman serving us was very quiet and hard to hear/understand. Ordered a chicken burrito and nachos with beef. I asked for jalapenos and cheese and she added these as well as bits of nachos to my burrito which is a weird choice as they were hard and not very nice in texture, feels like bits of bone in your burrito. The beef in the nachos was very fatty/chewy with little flavour and the burrito salsa was lacking in spice and heat making the second half of the burrito a cold mush. Would not recommend, head up the road to Chilangos instead, nicer staff and better food.

I love this place! It offers great value tasty burritos. So much better than getting your lunch from your usual chain. A definite must!

Es tan genial! No hay un lugar igual en Manchester. Mi novio ama tanto que nos hemos hecho que nuestra cosa mensual. Recomiendo encarecidamente visitar, como sus ingredientes son siempre frescos y las porciones son generosas. Es mucho mejor que el bar de lejos el burrito
