I didn't try the food but the restaurant area seemed very popular. The staff are very friendly and the karaoke was a good laugh. Prices are ok for a city centre pub and it's worth a visit. There is a disabled access toilet on the ground floor and further toilets upstairs.

Came year years ago and remember it being very nice - quite a classy joint! Unfortunately that's no longer the case. There was nothing wrong with our visit per se - the food was fine, the service was fine but it has lost the special feeling it had before. The floor was sticky, it was very noisy, felt quite rushed and, despite the 'no sportwear' policy, a lot of people seemed to be wearing what I would class as sportwear. It like it's now 'catering to the masses' rather than somewhere you'd go for a special night out.

Used to be a great restaurant ... the prices are terrible, added service charge is a joke considering they don't service you... staff stand around looking at you when u need to order ! I was charged the price of a starter for soy sauce with chillies in for my dim sum 😂 pretty much thought soy sauce was part of a dim sum meal. NO flavour in any of the meals I've tried over the past year ... such a shame .

The location has parking, reasonable space around the tables etc. Food was fine, however roast beef was overcooked to falling to bits level. Drinks- the refillable soft drink station was obviously out/very low on gas for the soda part of the dispenser. Despite pointing this out, the situation did not improve. Coupled with a lecture about putting two tables together for eight seats being a fire hazard (table had been booked for seven people) this was an unwelcoming experience.

If you are in Liverpool, do not eat here. My wife ordered the steak & ale pie with onion rings and I ordered the vegan chicken katsu curry. The steak & ale pie was completely inedible. The crust was so hard that my wife had to jab it repeatedly with her knife and when it finally broke, the contents were completely black and burnt to a crisp. There was no sign of any meat inside. She took it to the bar and the waitress asked if she would like a replacement. The replacement arrived after a few minutes (it must have been the right microwave setting this time) and whilst the pie crust was not as hard, there were barely three pieces of ‘steak’ inside and what was there was not at all appetising. My main was OK, but the onion rings were swimming in grease.
