McDonald's in Liverpool

I've recently had an experience with McDonald's in great homer street delivery service that left me disappointed. Despite their usually prompt service, my latest order was significantly delayed. Attempts to communicate with the delivery personnel were met with what seemed like deliberate ignorance. This lack of responsiveness and accountability on their part was surprising and not in line with the customer service standards I've come to expect from a brand like McDonald's. I hope this was an isolated incident and not indicative of a downward trend in their delivery service quality. We pay for the orders plus for the delivery people.

Very good food and freshly prepared. Service also good. Waiting time a little too long but within reason

Twice been here twice been stuck in the drive through for 30mins ! .. Staff don't tell people to wait in grill parking, so we all hv to wait in the cue, no one at payment window ever ...then told that they carnt take yr payment...very annoying...got to be worst macdonlds we hv ever been, So much credit goes to the very polite homeless man who chats to drivers whilst waiting lovely gentlemen

Fast food had to wait there was a bigger queue waiting than driving through

The employees are very rude with delivery guys, they ignore them for long time. on top of that, they forget we order the food to arrive to us hot not frezen. I hope the restaurants managers take it into account. Thanks.

Not the best McDonald's Not very often they get the order right

The ice cream and hot drink were put together. The ice cream was melted when I receive my delivery.

Ordered my mcplant it was thrown together chips warm. Man taking payments could not count change properly. Not a good mcdonalds at all

What happens when you staff up with youngsters, you get poor or no service. Order machines not working, stood at the counter for several minutes, no acknowledgement, no service. Consequently no sale for you .

Been sat here 20 minutes waiting, no food seems to be coming out.

I’m sitting here surrounded by youths. They’re sitting on the tables and gathering in large numbers. I don’t blame them, I blame whoever closed upstairs. There are only a small number of seats on ground floor so it’s ridiculous to close the biggest seating area. It took 15 minutes to be served even tho we were the only customers at the till, it took 20 minutes for us to get out food and when we did get our order it was wrong. After reading the reviews on here we decided not to return it as we couldn’t be bothered with all the hassle. It’s 25/03/2024. Stupidly we returned here and have now spent 30min waiting for a wrap. There are kids everywhere and none are eating. It’s a bleeding mad house.

Always gangs of kids in and around the place. Even going through the drive through, had a tramp knocking on the window for change, or food!

Just like pregnancy. You forget how bad it was, and decide to give it another go.

If you need to read Maccies Reviews then you gotta re-evaluate your life. It's a Maccies, not a silver plate restaurant.

how do you manage to forget the most simple items when you’re packing something for delivery? then your delivery driver manages to spill the drink everywhere? then you don’t even answer when we’re trying to contact you? absolute joke

Staff shouting and running about in the kitchen slow in person ordering. Due to drive thru taking priority over physical walking customers 😔 shocking behaviour of staff highly don't reccomend this place

Staff need training as they can’t wrap a single burger! Numerous times my burger looked like the Earth - flat (sarcasm). Plus, all extra cheese I paid for, stayed on the paper wrap!

Potatoes wearing McDonald's baseball caps would be better at the job. If you're in a hurry and see there's no queue.. still add 15/20 minutes on to your journey time. Sat at order point waiting.... And waiting.. They serve a car that just pulls up next to me instantly, then the car behind that before moving on to me and my invisible car. I'm actually quite glad about that though as they proceeded to throw the drinks and food at the car Infront causing them to fall to the road.. another few minutes wait while they replaced the drinks they've just thrown at them. And then find out my orders wrong when I get to work. They should just employ those security guard window stickers from Home Bargain they'd make less mistakes.

Don't order food from great homer Street macdonalds great in the name no so great for customers my daughter ordered food from this macdonalds worth £25.00 via just eat took the order took her money and not received this in my opinion is theft Macdonalds refused to take any responsibility for allowing just eats thieving scumbags my daughter is a uni student on a short budget both macdonalds and just eat should be ashamed of themselves. More diappointed with macdonalds thought they would replace the order out of good will. Maybe I was silly to expect it. If the start rating had a minus settting that's what I would give

Only criticism I had of my visit there was the gang of lads were just being a nuisance and staff didn't do much to deter them away.

I have been collecting orders from McDonald's, l have got to say this McDonald at Jennifer Avenue and the one at Kensington have the worest mamagment. The Kensington one has several rude staffs but not the Jennifer once. Collecting orders from these places sometimes take 40 mins during non ruch times. Many staff go out during the working hours especiall the Jennifer one and both places have staff talking too much with each others sort of waisting time for the business. This should be looked by the McDonald's managments depth. in Liverpool area. McDonald's at Edge Lane has big improvement during this month and it is more than excellent services

Interior and atmosphere gives off a youth club vibe. Staff were great, very attentive, professional, and helpful. Hot chocolate was a bit on the weak side.

Uninterested staff, thrown together food

Had an issue with the way my delivery had arrived due to no fault of McDonald’s. Spoken to a manager named Molly who kindly offered to replace the order if I was able to pick it up from the store. No wait time as it was ready for when I collected which was even better. Excellent customer service. Food was hot and service when collecting was great. Overall good experience. Just eat need to be more careful with delivery’s 😡

10 people there blasting music and having fun, waited 20 minutes for a simple order, very dirty, nasty attitude when I asked for sugar for my coffee, had to wait couple of minutes to be told they don't have any.

Waited about 30 mins for our order which they still got wrong. Staff constantly walking around on their phones looking like they can’t be arsed. Food somehow tasted worse than other McDonald’s I’ve been to - how they managed to do that I don’t know. At least it was clean but the service, food and atmosphere are tragic. Should’ve just gone for a subway.

Amazed to find that 4 months ago a person was also served half a Big Mac! Surely when you close the box you can see its not right! Had to go back in x2 from the car, first as an item was missing and then again for the burger. Chips were HOT - the only thing they got right!

Very poor food. Big. Mac was cold and the McCrispy was rock hard. Both had clearly been sat for a long time before they ended up in my order. Not. Impressed

It's Macdonald's! 😀 The best thing is coffee.

Quick stop for take out coffee. Went inside as drive in was busy. A very small McDs an had to battle past all the delivery drivers blocking the doors. Bit of a wait to get the order. Staff were pleasant an apologised for the wait. This is on two floors there is a bigger seating area upstairs. Condiments needed topping up only bare minimum out for customers to get.

Just ordered from here on just eat. my little boy going mad because no toy in his happy meal, no straw for his drink and no sauce it was also cold about an hour it took to be delivered

Food from this McDonald's is really poorly lashed together, not cheap anymore either, I can see why Tim Horton's just across the way is very busy with hot fresh tasty food, probably last time at McDonald's till they improve service and standards of quality of the food

So. It's the design layout. It's not really built for sitting in. At least they have a lift to the toilets (mobility challenged)

Not impressed order wrong and long wait

Called in one evening waited over 20 mins for food which was cold and ended up in the bin. walked out I should of just put my money in the bin also the manager behind the counter had a attitude shouting and telling other customers to wait and walked of bad customers service will never go again . Sorry McDonald's

You can't believe we were waiting for our food for about 40minutes after we checked many times.We asked for a lady help to check twice,but she just didn't give any helps until a man is more helpful.Then we got our food.This McDonald's service is always too slow. We often came and this issue happens frequently. Checking our order at desk and waiting for a long time around 30minutes .Never attend this place to get an order. Much slower than busy places.

Came here time and time again with just disappointment and dissatisfaction most of our meals either come with no buns half the burger missing or no meal at all and stone cold with no dips or straws etc partner tried to ring up once and ask where our food was as it had been over 3 hours and the was so rude! Told us it's not there problem it's not like we like far away either only 5 minutes if that never coming here again recommend a different Mcdonald if you are going to get one

Definitely the worst McDonald’s in the UK! I’m surprised how this place has stayed open, the customer service is virtually none existent, the staff are rude, you wait at the till for 15 minutes before being served and the food arrives freezing cold after waiting 40 minutes for it!

Soggy, cold, undercooked fries 🍟 with a weird taste. This place is getting worse not better.

This is easily the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I've been here multiple times due to it being very near my house but never again. There's always rubbish lying around, service takes forever and food is often cold, sauce dispensers always empty, napkin dispensers empty or stuffed full of rubbish, the self service never never prints receipts. The staff are all kids and the place is a shambles.

Appalling service. Ordered meal. They got order wrong 3 times . Simple request 'no bun' eventually after 10 mins waiting in bay, went to speak to manager. Re Ordered even though it was clear on receipt no bun plain. Was asked 'what does no relish mean... Really

Good god the service in here is as slow as balls. Arrived for breakfast and a half hour later still waiting for food. Literally just writing a review to kill the time.

Staff very rude not helpful one bit

Wouldn’t eat here again! What is that burger looks like someone has taken a bite out of it and no mustard onions etc was also cold. Lettuce was brown and large chips were only half and not cooked properly. Laziness comes to mind

Went to drive through at 9.50pm approx and waited 15 minutes for our order. The Big Mac patties are so tiny and the fries were that pale and soft they were borderline cooked. For £18.55 it was disappointing and not worth the money. Beware and eat in so you can complain at the time!

This place needs nuking it's an absolute disgrace and it's finally made my decision for me as in I'll never set foot in McDonald's ever again

Avoid this place. It is dirty, kids vaping inside, long wait for food and despite free spaces nowhere to sit because of the mess around.

Awful, made a breakfast order at 10.55 sat waiting for a double sausage and egg mc muffin until 11.20 then when it finally arrived it was so greasy they grease had dripped out the paper and into the bag and the muffin was soggy. Took it back and told that breakfast had finished they can give me a double cheese burger? Sorry but what sort of service is that? sat waiting for 25 minutes and ended up with something i didn’t even order and for half the value of my item.

I give 1 star just because no option for 0 stars. Almost every time there are missing ingredients and very long waiting time. The management and the staff it's lacking customer service skills and not competent to do simple tasks. Be prepared to be served with bad attitude

No milkshakes again for about 5th time this month fresh chips mixed in with rock hard chips looks like sum1 has taken bite out of the burger pâté 1/4 missing chicken wrap was only half filled also the wrap itself had so many holes in it the filling fell out 2 sets of fry’s missing so not use this place only reason I Nvr went bk to complain is it would cost me more in petrol

They treat the delivery man through the App like garbage, they leave us waiting for 40.50 minutes, many managers for little efficiency, they pass by the delivery men and pretend not to see them. App couriers deserve RESPECT.

This Macdonalds is horrible! I do not recommend going to this restaurant what so ever, even if your hungry. Go to a different restaurant or fast food place. This macdonalds takes 30 minutes/1 hour what ever you order. The fries are so cold and they feel like they have been out for days. When you order a hot drink it turns completely cold. Don’t go it is HORRIBLE!

The automatic doors didn't work, the tap didn't work, the ordering kiosk didn't and there was no milkshakes.

No one on till to serve. When finally allowed to order food was cold and order was all wrong asked for two double quarters and a triple cheese burger. Received two single quarters and a double cheese burger. The staff are not caring and have bad attitudes

Really decent restaurant staff are more often than not friendly and helpful. 99% of the time it’s quick drive through and counter service with the odd occasion you have to pull over to wait for food which is usually really quick with friendly staff bringing the food out which I’ve found alway hot and prepared well. The store is clean and tidy and the staff often have to deal with disrespectful teenagers so my hat gets taken off to them frequently

Staff was more intrested in talking than serving the customers and when you did get your food you didnt even get what you asked for avoid this mcdonalds if you actually want what you ordered

Been here on friday lunch time to eat something fast between 2 jobs. Total disappointment!!!!! FIRST of all manager and other 2 dont want to take my order at the till so i have waited few minutes till 1 young girl came and ask me if i want to order?? Then order take. 11:18. Waited my food until 11:30..Fast food?? When i get my food no napkin,(okay find it on side self service), my chips was half. When i asked what happend i have got the answer might fall in the bag.. excuse me what? Are you a pet feeder or a restaurant?? Also its takes maximum 3 meter from chips station to the service area..and i am sure you were not running to bring the food.. maybe start to take pride in your job or McDonalds need better managers to teach manner and customer service.. we pay your salary!!! Burger meat dry and burned.. i dont think its hard to clean the grill between 2 cook or change the foil if it is old.. no salf no pepper..tastless.. Reataurant itself looks amazing. But very dortt floor. I am sure it all about profit but come on .. shame

Restaurant was swarming with staff yet NOBODY could be bothered to serve me. After waiting 15 minutes I gave up and left. Service is awful- Can't rate the food as I never had a chance to order.

Waited over 30 minutes for food after ordering and waiting in click and serve. Finally had to see where the food was at and and went into the restaurant. It was like a zoo with employees not knowing what they were doing. The manager was nowhere to be seen. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get the attention of an employee and when I asked where my food was, they looked and it was just sat there on the side. Nobody had bothered to bring our food out. When I queried why, the response was 'I have only just seen this'. No apology, nothing! I noticed an army of other customers complaining about long wait times for food so clearly it wasn't just me. This McDonalds needs some serious improvement in management!

Stay away from this place waited half an hour in the queue to get told to park up for another 20 minutes aswell as another 9 cars the food was cold and wrong order how hard can it be to read off a screen..sort it out

Came through the drive through, ordered 2 meals. Came home and half of my double Big Mac was missing. Not sure how you can manage to only make half a burger but I'm genuinely impressed with the level of stupidity it must take to pull that off. If you're looking for a laugh definitely order from there. If you want actual quality food. Avoid.

Couldn't get my order right, payed for a milkshake on the self service, got to the counter and got told the milkshake machine isn't working "as in EVERY mcdonalds" tried to give me a coke instead of my milkshake. Terrible service and the staff look and act like they are half asleep. The lot of them need sacking, the easiest job in the world and they can't even get that right. Braindead

Staff are incompetent and unable to do a simple job. They are incapable of making simple orders and have a superiority complex when lets be real, they dont have any room to be. The staff are absolutely disgusting with their attitude and need to be trained better in customer service. The staff trainer on premises here needs sacked ASAP. Comidas lanches e café da manhã ok. Mas a higiene do lugar... horrivel !!! Nojento o que os adolescentes fazem e não tem funcionário suficiente nem pra limpar...nem lá dentro da cozinha pra prepararem os lanches. Você fica uma vida esperando um lanche. Horrível ambiente e atendimento pela insuficiência de funcionários.

Waited over half an hour two days in a row, was told ‘sorry we’re really busy right now’ when there was only a handful of people waiting. They were extremely rude.

Drive threw waiting while all other cars Got served no food on screen no receipt then no food given to car in front went in manager had a bad attitude then member of staff got told by manager who needs to drop her title she spoke to me like that because I spoke to her brillant customer service then the lad in kitchen looking out laughing told him to get in kitchen get abuse from in staff need to learn to do there job probably and not speak to customers like they would there mates in street will be making a complaint and asking for cctv the way the staff and brillant manager spoke to me hopefully they will get warning or sack. Nothing else deserves a star. Did not even get offered anything the longest McDonald’s visit ever stay away staff talk like there in the street.

Had a chicken salad… cleaned our own table but someone had only just left, fair enough… man working hard keeping the place clean which is important….. mango iced drink was lovely but both little pieces of chicken in the salad were sadly dry and hard… should have taken it back I guess, but, too tired after lovely long walk…. Lots of dark green lettuce and some tomato and cucumber, sadly no balsamic vinegar available, needs to be taken off the menu when it’s not available, didn’t find out until meal was served… given two garlic mayos free…. Ok I guess… husband ate second piece of chicken, even he pronounced it virtually inedible, but his quarter pounder cheeseburger was up to speed and fries were MacDonalds usual standard…. Don’t like to complain but I think that chicken must have been sat on the side for a few hours…. Not a shred of moisture left… first time in this Maccies…. Nice mix of music…. Well done to the guy keeping things clean… I guess just the chicken….

Had chicken salad, not that impressed as had to use a wooden knife and fork. Unable to cut the lettuce and my fork bent when I cut the chicken. Ace cleaned regularly, but two toilets not that clean.

Went to this McDonald’s on Friday 26th May around 5pm , the restaurant required cleaning. We waited over 30 minutes for our order only to get cold burnt food won’t be back
