Was loveley food service wS lovely and staff was do helpful 👍

Meals are good . And the coffee is excellent ...... Fill up as much as you want from the machine . I choose decaf as I like the expresso and like a few cups

Came here for the first time as my wife was having surgery at the nearby hospital and I was staying over. Food was hot and served quick. Ordering my drinks online was great as I was given super fast service. Can’t fault this place. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Standard menu in every Weatherspoon pub so you know what your getting. Drinks are cheap and that's what they are known for. Food service is very quick as well so not bad at all.

Visited here this morning and never again for breakfast…..!!! Disgusting, beans were gross as you can see …. Harsh browns were basically uncooked, sausages were warm. How early in the morning is this food precooked…?!?! Is any of this food cooked Fresh in this place ?

My 400th Wetherspoon, and was quite surprised to see a spoons so quiet at 10pm on the last Saturday of the year. Quite an impressive selection of real ales and craft beer. I settled for a tasty Jester IPA in a can.

Surprised how nice the food was actually, got a mixed grill, steak, lamb, chicken, gammon sausage peas mushroom tomato and peas, nice size Definitely recommend, and will eat there again Thanks

Two weekends on the run ,they run out of Bells whiskey.🥃 It’s not rocket science …..order more stock….it hasn’t got a sell by date. Or do they not order enough on purpose, so customers have to buy the more expensive brands.

Having read some recent reviews, I was quite worried about going here tonight. However, I shouldn't have worried. The staff were delightful and could not do enough for our group.

Took my 21 year old to eat. Food well cooked, generous portions, delivered timely. Great atmosphere because of eclectic mix. Family with children happily colouring using free stuff. Construction worker having an inexpensive good pint at end of day. Lone men enjoying a quiet pint obviously go there for atmosphere. This was 5.00-7.00 on a Monday night. No idea what this place is like at 10.30 on a Friday tho haha

Went at 8am Sunday morning to grab breakfast before our holiday to Spain on a yearly friends holiday, we were told we couldn’t be served alcohol till 9am, which was fine, so we were looking at the breakfast menu and talking to the cleaner, telling her about our upcoming holiday, then went to order our breakfast and a soft drink, when the lady behind the bar said I’m just letting you know I Carnt serve you with alcohol at 9am because you have obviously had a a few drinks???? Erm we had got up and left the house with our cases for our holiday, I said no we Havnt, it’s not like we are causing murder or fighting we were the only 2 people in there, we left, but that incident was over reacted and she had no cause to send us away, absolute joke, I’m disgusted and fuming 😡

Best one in Liverpool. All Wetherspoons are rammed so will definitely have problems. Cleaner drinks than any indie regardless of price xx

Food was good and a good portion. Two issue we had were the cookie crunch desert never had any sauce. Also the bubblegin pitcher didn't taste right, we let the guy know who then went off and never came back to us. We collared him over and he said he spoke to the bar staff and they said it was measured correctly. I offered for him to taste it and try it for himself. I was then told to buy another one on the app! I said there was no issue with the alcahol quantity and the issue was just the bland taste of the cocktail.

Cheap place to drink. It's a popular place so they run out of food items regularly. I ordered fish + chips. They run out of tartare sauce?? It was fish Friday, so they should have plenty of tartare sauce. My husband ordered Gourmet Steak with peppercorn sauce. They did not give the peppercorn sauce. It's great for a drink + a snack, but I would eat somewhere else for food in this Wetherspoons.

Breakfast 8am Usual Spoons food . Cheap n tasty . Unlimited coffee . Watched the traffic pass from the window tables . As usual Sunday morning . Nice n Quiet .!

The bald guy that claims he’s manager kicked us out for an assistance dog!!! didn’t let us finish the drinks we PAID FOR and said he was going to issue a refund as he took our drinks then refused to issue a refund. Also there was a NO SMOKING sign in the area we were sat in and people were smoking and he said that sign isn’t meant to be there. Disgusting treatment of paying customers and disabilities.

I’m really not a great fan of Wetherspoons , I popped in on a Sat ,, we ordered 2 meals fish & chips & steak ,,,,, I was really impressed with the both meals fish was hot and well cooked & the steak was spot on , I know you get what you pay for,, but it was presented & cooked A1 I’d go back every week when I’m back home ,,

Staff couldn't care less! Ordered on the app, guy on the bar made them, and the other guy running, just stood next to them. Went up and got them self after waiting. Pub was empty.

App to order food doesn't work with Google pay.....we waited for nearly a hour when we found out they didn't get our order.

Big weatherspoons no car park. Park on street good beer good service didn't have a meal so can't comment

Food is always standard weatherspoons... nice. But its always messy and crowded.

It's sound in there, staff are nice but my breakfast was cold and missing an egg. Was slow to arrive and not as busy as usual.

Nice quiet place for a few pints, no blairing music, low priced beer, including good selection of real ales,also good choice of food,and friendly helpful staff.

As far as Wetherspoons go, this one is average. The food is ok, the drinks are 50/50 whether they'll be in stock. Seating wise it's all just one big room where you can hear everyone, and with it being Liverpool, some people have no sense of volume. There is a pretty decent outdoor area to the right of the entrance. There are seats out in the open and some covered with a roof too. Overall, a typical Wetherspoons.

Ordered 10oz steak from the Tuesday Steak Club section, wouldn’t recommend as i was honest with a member of staff due to the amount of fat and the side source being over cooked and stuck to the dish itself. I was informed that this place is not responsible for the food they receive? So that’s my feed back, wouldn’t return however I must say the female staff member is a credit to the company as she was honest the place has gone down hill and the food isn’t what it once was.

Have just weather spoons old swan spent £59 on food and £40 on drinks , complained about the curry as it tasted like nothing the rice was dry and burnt and the nann bread was soggy. Complained to the manager who told me the microwave cooks it to spec and what do I expect for a microwave meal. Absolutely horrendous service

The navigator pub wetherspoons in Old Swan is ok for a couple of drinks I wouldn't eat there anymore having seen the so called "chefs" they put me right off .....they never have a beer mat which drives me nuts ..but a few drinks is ok ...

Lady who took the order was good , food awful and gave us dodgy stomach the guy serving the food prior was picking up weeds out the front of pub , the lady at bar said go him probably not a a good idea as we are serving food still!

Got two steaks for me and my wife, my wife’s was like a rubber welly when I complained the manager said we got the wrong steaks they were meant for a other costume who orders steaks like welly’s did even offer to replace it he offered a free dessert for the kid we had with us, taking the p___s what a joke

Absolutely disgusting me and a few people went here today after a funeral to celebrate the life of a good mate after the awake and we paid for 2 rounds of drinks and got told to be quite I am disgusted with this from the staff as one of the people who I am with is deaf and is loud at talking so for this staff member saying this is bad I will never come to any of these again

First time ever been told no breakfasts available till after 10am as no kitchen staff. Very very poor.

Went over Christmas it was really busy 2 in the afternoon! Ordered my chicken meal my friends chill went back 3 times as it wasn’t hot enough , manger got sick of bringing it out so he got another member of staff to bring it out . My chicken was rock hard at the end ! Took it back the bar , the staff really nice was about to refund when the manger came over and told me that’s how it’s supposed to be cooked ! And wouldn’t refund ! Manger attitude ! can’t handle a busy pub at Christmas oh and certainly can’t cook if he thinks that’s how chicken is cooked

Visited 12 January 2023. Not very happy , no poached eggs but got fried. At 10.35am. That's amazing.

A bit run down compared to othe JDW pubs but worth a visit

Horrible place to go. I've realize how hipocrate they are just now. I've spoke with the staff team about a guy who was smoking vape in side and they've done nothing about it and place me as the "wrong one" for complain POLITELY about something that is not acceptable inside of bars, restaurants and any other hospirality enviroment. I hardly sugest to no one ever come in that place.

Attractive price with a nice dining environment. The food portion is a little small which may be the result of reasonable price

Bar not fit for service staff over zealous and don't go there if you started off drinking in different bar will not serve you go to different bar got served no problems not drink better off in black horse at least they know how to serve customers

Went here with my friends yesterday for drinks and something to eat. My friend ordered chicken tikka, but when it arrived it was cold. So asked a member of staff if she could have a fresh one. Dropped in here again for a pint and a meal. Wetherspoons clearly state there is no vaping allowed in any of their establishments. Please could someone let the management of The Navigator know?

Ordered 2 large mixed grills and all of the meat was overcooked, some Pieces weren't edible. Showed the pieces of meat to the manager and he proceeded to argue with us instead of dealing with the situation in a professional manner. After the manager stormed off, the bar staff then came over and resolved the issue without hesitation which was appreciated. Been going here for years and never had a problem but the past 2 times we've been the food has been poor.

I ordered a stake and is was so crispy/burt there was no flaver but the chips are nice still recommend the place

Had a large mix grill today usually the foods ok here but not today not so good The steak and pork chop was dry and tough ,gammon was ok sasuges were nice but egg was overdone and what I'm guessing was lamb was brutal, chips were cold peas were nice ,

Just went in for a few drinks at this place. Barmaid looked at me the walked off to serve someone else. Is it because I'm not a local. Get new staff who dont look at you like you are trash!!!!!!

Not clean pub and the food in this Wetherspoon is not cooked right, my burger was burnt and menus were all dirty and sticky.

Its normal. Busy in weekends. No parking but available outside area towards edge lane road. Extra smoking area. Normal rate.

Just got home after a 'meal' at Weatherspoons in Old Swan. Ordered steak chips& eggs my husband ordered a mixed grill. We were told there were no facilities to fry eggs ...fair enough. Went for scrambled eggs with my steak and chips. My steak & chips came, where do I begin ? Disgusting Zero effort, présentation whatsoever. No eggs, they had arrived on my husbands mixed grill which we pointed out to the server. No problem, we will put them on for you. Came back, soggy lukewarm inedible chips, lukewarm gristly steak no peas sides etc... I ate some of the steak left the rest which was collected by the staff. They didn't ask why my meal was virtually untouched. In fact we were never asked once if our meals were ok.

Great place for a cheap breakfast.
