Delicious food at the Ropewalks Bar and Restaurant. Steak was tender and cooked to perfection. Peppercorn sauce was lovely. Service was a little slow bringing out the food so broccoli was slightly cold - but I still enjoyed it as the taste was good.
Visited on a Wednesday evening and only two tables were occupied.
Had a singer at the reception/bar area so got to listen to some live music entertainment whilst eating!
Our friends chose this restaurant for us,and what a great place to come and have a meal.On entering I was very impressed with the vastness and wonderful decor, plus the cleanliness of here
We were taken to our booked table, and asked what drinks we would like within a couple of minutes, then not long after were asked for our food orders,No waiting at all,It was very prompt, which suited us..
I just shared Poppadoms with dips as a starter,as I'm not a big eater,Then my main meal of Lamb Biryani arrived, with rice,It was so big and delicious,I had no room left for a pudding,
We found all the staff very polite and friendly, especially Ziggy who explained everything to us,he was an asset to this wonderful restaurant, and yes I would visit again when in Liverpool
Had a good day but this was purely down to the company. Food very poor - been booked for months but no gluten free on the day!!! Noise was ridiculous - hen party in the next table - bride to be insisted on jumping on jumping customers backs for photos.
On the plus side,’staff were fantastic
I had a fantastic experience at TGI Fridays Liverpool ONE, thanks to Lucy! Her warm welcome and attentive service made the evening truly enjoyable. Lucy’s cocktail recommendations were spot-on, and she crafted each drink with skill and flair. Her friendly demeanor and professionalism added to the vibrant atmosphere. If you’re visiting, be sure to ask for Lucy—she’ll make your night memorable!
Pretty poor, ordered tea and an earl grey tea £2.90 each. Expected a pot but given a mug with a tea strainer. Both teas too strong and undrinkable. Staff indifferent at best
Booked for post shopping trip lunch. Service was great, waiters attentive and quick. Food was ok, a bit bland could've done with some coriander and chilli. Starter dishes nice, chicken wings and pork belly lovely!! but nachos and beans in need of a kick. Tacos were hit and miss. Halloumi got thumbs up but birria tacos burnt.
Expensive for what we had but guess prime spot in Albert Dock to be expected!!
Terrible. Probably one of the most disappointing breakfasts that I’ve had in Liverpool. Opted for the Eggs Benedict as they didn’t have my first choice. It was cold on un-toasted bread, reheated bacon (barely browned). Quite clearly pre-poached eggs that had been flashed in water and were absolutely stone cold and over cooked. There’s nothing worse than cutting into a poached egg and it’s solid in the middle. I would personally never serve anyone this on the pass. I understand that some restaurants / coffee shops do this to ease service and waiting times but it is completely not necessary when it’s quiet and there were a total of six customers. Eggs should be made to order. I have worked in one of the busiest breakfast restaurants in Liverpool and we would still cook to order. If you’re expecting people to pay £9.50 for one piece of sourdough then at least make them fresh eggs. (The one I’ve photographed was actually the better egg) 😅 Hollandaise was also runny liquid and disappointing. The coffee is decent here but that’s about it. Sadly will not be returning.
26 Slater St, Liverpool, L1 4BS, United Kingdom, England
Decent service. Fun fact: In 1960; when my father was just 19, he had broken into 26 Slater Street a number of times and was reported in the local newspapers such as the Liverpool Echo. 26 Slater Street used to be called the Corinthian Coffee Club.
This is now called "Porters" and is a good traditional style and reasonably priced cafe on the dockside.Simple menu and good coffee. A very pleasant experience all round and the staff were super friendly. The Pacific Melt was ace so around £5-6 for a light butty snack is a fair price for such a great location
Groupon Deal - realmente decepcionado.
