Authentic tasty mexican tapas . Friendly service .Great atmosphere perfect early meal prior to a concert at the arena 5 mins walk .

First visit, big lover of Mexican food Inc making own tacos at home. Went for bottomless tacos and the first round felt like the tortillas had been left out, quite dry. Thankfully the 2nd, 3rd, 4th round was a lot better. Good selection of tacos. Nicely delivered with good timing and service. Ice cream sandwiches to finish were also v good.

Friendly staff and fast service. The food was below average, lacking in zing, freshness and heat. All in all, a rather tired, flavourless offering. Disappointing and by no means cheap.

Booked a while ago and wanted something a bit different to the normal Mexican eateries you can visit, the food was really tasty and came quicker than we thought, would visit again

I went to visit Liverpool for the weekend, I booked a table for 2 people, 3 days in advance for sat 11th Nov -7:15pm directly on your website, I did not received a confirmation email but I had an screenshot, on arrival your host did not even say hello, from the very first minute acting very rude, he seemed very busy having a chat with other customers... After he decided to talk to us he said the booking was not in the system, so I showed the screenshot, he replied literally "you do not have a booking, wait there for 26 minutes and have a drink" OMG not even would you like? Can I get the drinks menu for you? Please have  asit? zero customer service and even communication skills, his facial expression was so scary, he made us feel so embarrassed and uncomfortable in front of the rest of the customers. We could have waited, but after that treatment how?? We basically had to run away; HUNGRY, tired and very disappointed, the restaurant deco and vibes looked so nice and the food looked and smelled beautiful, it is a shame we could not even try, your host ruined the night, we paid 2 Uber journeys for absolutely nothing. 

Wow what fantastic food, but more than this the service was outstanding from start to finish in particular kieran on the front desk who was just gem. Visiting from Brighton for the football and we need a madre on the south coast !!

Efficient service. Starters were fine( pork belly and corn), but mains were terrible ( beef tacos, potato tacos- only veggie option available tonight). The food was so salty and there was nothing fresh, such as a bit of salad to cut through this. Portions were tiny, apart from the huge portion of nachos ( also over salty in patches). The toilets left much to be desired and hopefully aren't a reflection on standards of hygiene in the kitchen as the cleaning chart showed that they weren't checked regularly, and this was clear. Very disappointed.

Walked in, loved the decor and vibe! Initial service was very matter of fact… not the friendliest. Was shown to our table upstairs, it was lovely and warm! Relatively busy for a lunchtime and was greeted by our server, who wasn’t the happiest. Radiated a negative vibe from the offset. We ordered the Nachos to start and then a taco each, a light lunch. He almost seemed annoyed when he questioned us ordering more and we declined. Food was good. Nice. Nanchos were fully loaded and really tasty, a little bit spicy which we weren’t warned about. The tacos, the beef was nice and the vegetarian was dreadful. Tasted greasy, heavy and flavourless. I would go back in the summer for cocktails and nachos outside but definitely not for a meal.

Below part so called Mexican food. The restaurant was busy so was happy to accept a small table by the bar. The starter of guacamole was one of the blandest I have ever tasted, it did not help with the tortilla chips were strong in flavour and perhaps hiding the flavours, but some decent seasoning of salt and more lime would not have gone amiss. Main course was clams with potatoes in a broth. Problem was the broth hid the flavour of the clams. Had to ask for cutlery and tissues, in order to eat it. A big oversight was no side plate in to which the empty clam shells could be discarded, thus having to keep checking that I had not missed any clams to eat. Overall, overpriced and the food below average, was so disappointed as on paper it looked so promising.

Madre got us a table quickly without a reservation. Food excellent. Loved the margaritas. Loud music but able to hold a conversation. Fun to people watch. Recommend the enchiladas and tacos. Great shops nearby to explore before and after dinner. Very nice location.

Limited menu. Tacos and potatoes tasted bland, saving grace we got 2 free Tacos after waiting 30 mins. No salads on menu. I wouldn’t recommend.
