Billed as Soul Sunday. Nothing like. Radio Head 'I'm a creep' isn't in my Tamla Motown playback. Nothing like the afternoon that was billed. Very disappointing. Don't waste your money

NYE party. We had an amazing time! Brilliant Drag Queens. Friendly atmosphere and staff. The food was nice, just a shame my partners Eton Mess, was lacking. But overall, top night! Thank you.

Wow! What a way to start the New Year! This place is amazing the staff, the food, the atmosphere is unbelievable. I’d like to give a big shout out to Olivia and Beth who went above and beyond to make our experience an unforgettable one! You both made such an impact on the night thank you so much. Came here for my birthday few days ago to see funnyboyz. Funnyboyz were great, the Queen's were fabulous. And the benidorm bingo was hilarious. We all really enjoyed the entertainment 😀. The food was ok. But the drinks selection at blundell street wasn't that great. I drink rose wine zinfandel, which they never had. The only one they had was like vinegar absolutely disgusting 🤢. And they didn't have plain gin, they only had orange or lemon, which not many people like. For a venue like that they should have the basics really. We got asked before hand in a email if we wanted to get a drinks package for £35 per person for 90 minutes, so glad we never got that. If I go to blundell street again I would inquire before hand what drinks they had, or bring my own. Because when you go to a venue like that they should definitely have a range of drinks . I've never experienced anything like that. I mean the wine I got was probably £4 in the shops. And they sell it there for £23, wouldn't bother me paying that if the wine was nice. I took the wine back to the bar and asked the bar staff to change it which they did change it for prosecco rose which was better. Shame really because everything else was great 👍

Had a great night at this venue with an evening drag show from the funnyboyz. Great entertainment the queens work very hard. We added a three course meal to our booking it was very good. Good value for money.

Really terrible service and even worse food. Absolute rip off for the price, paid £30 for two course that was low quality and poorly cooked. A cheap carvery would beat it hands down. Pure profiteering with no regard for the customer experience.

Wow what an amazing time we had on Saturday for bottomless brunch with the FunnyBoyz. Nothing was too much trouble. To think the new co-owners only took over 4 days prior to attending and everything was fab. Well done to the team at Funnyboyz and the new owners. Thank you for making our bride to be hen one to remember.

I came here on 6th may 2023 the same week funnyboyz took over the club and i’ve got to say what an amazing job they did. We came for a bottomless brunch drag show for my hen party 14 of us there was never a glass empty, food was great and not one person sat down not enjoying themselves. Everyone was up dancing, laughing and having the best time all down to the drag act i will recommend this place to anyone and thank you for making my hen party one of the best days of my life so far.

Me my mum and my Nan came here for Mother’s Day yesterday and we really enjoyed ourselves. The roast dinner we had was absolutely beautiful and the drinks great. Service was great and all staff were lovely. The puddings let it down but in general we were very happy and would return. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Where do I start..... The staff, the venue, the music, the night just bloody perfect. We visited for a friends 60th birthday party and were blown away, the staff were all so happy, friendly, welcoming and accommodating to our every need and with a party of over 60 to sit, feed and supply drinks to this was no small feat. Everyone was fed with red hot food and the correct food they had pre- ordered in a very timely manor. Everyone was served the correct drink and nothing was to much trouble. The venue was clean and of a good size, enough room for our party as well as others not part of our group. The live Motown singer was great, got everyone up and made everyone feel like they were having a great night. Followed by a DJ till 1am. Great music kept us dancing into the small hours Can't recommend enough, thank you all the staff for a fab night.

Well worth a visit. Food was delicious, drinks reasonably priced, service good considering how busy they were, really great atmosphere, everywhere was clean (except for the entertainment.haha) You might want to check accessibility if you have mobility issues as there are a number of steps to negotiate in parts.

Had a great night for our Xmas doo last night. The food was delicious and the staff were fab. Very friendly & attentive. Lovely night.

I arranged my friends hen do at Blundell Street after my visit on mother's day due to the amazing service and great time we had then. From start to finish communication with Ann was great, nothing was to much trouble given the guest numbers were amended a few times. Ann was always on hand to answer any questions or requests, she even offered to supply balloons which were lovely. The hen was organised for 71 guests as you can imagine the venue was very busy that night and despite this the service we received from arrival to leaving was fantastic. Food was lovely, service was great, staff very polite and always on hand if we needed anything. Entertainment was enjoyed by all and everyone said how much of an amazing atmosphere it was and most of all the hen had a fabulous night, thanks to Ann and her team for all they did to make it a night to remember.

I attended on Saturday night for my friends hen doo and what a fab time all had! there was over 70 of us and we were all looked after! food was lovely....much better than I'd expected! entertainment was great too we will definitely be back 💃💃 thanks for a great night 😀

I love this place. Have been twice this year and I can’t speak more highly of all involved. Ann is a star, confirming all the details and catering for a very specific menu for one of our table. The food is always delicious, the staff are incredibly hard working and professional. Then comes the entertainment, we went to the Grease/Dirty Dancing night and the Boy Band tribute nights. Both were excellent, we were up dancing all night and they really contributed to the party atmosphere of the venue. Honestly I could watch/dance/sing along with these acts every weekend, a really professional set up. If you are after a night of good food and dancing I recommend this place, it doesn’t take itself too seriously which means you can relax and enjoy yourselves.

Another fantastic night at the Blundell Street supper club. Great food and entertainment. The best part of the evening is the excellent service you receive from everyone on duty, bar staff, waiting on staff and the entertainers. I've visited The Supper Club a few times now and each time has been superb. This time was no exception. I booked as a birthday gift to my partner and the whole service throughout was faultless. The food as always was delicious. The live act (a boyband tribute) were outstanding, they had such a great mix in their set. Ann who works there is a credit to the company. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great night, from arranging prosecco to our table, even down to taking a few special pictures for us. Thank you Ann, as was Charley (I think that was her name) who was our waitress for the night. Once again an amazing night was had and I will definitely be returning. I could not recommend this place enough. A truly great venue. Well done everyone

Never go again portions very very poor for £35 for a 3 course waited ages for drinks ended up going the bar making 4 choices as had none and surrounded by screaming hen parties bothering us for hen party challenges ......

I traveled 10miles to be treated awfully. I went to Blundell Street with my girlfriend on our 5th year anniversary. As we both walked in we got told our table weren’t ready for another 30minutes we then waited in the bar area with a poor selection of drinks. Our table was then given to us 48minutes later we then was seated at our table which was very dirty and greasy. We asked the manager can we have a new table she responded “no you can not have a new table we are not able to do that” as I looked round the room there was several tables available. The restaurant was very quiet so I was wondering why we couldn’t have a new table. We was both very shocked on how she treated us and we both left without even looking at the menu due to the awful disrespectful manager that treated us terribly.

Visited here on September 8th with my boyfriend for a 3 course Sunday roast celebrating our anniversary. The roast dinner was really tasty, juicy veg and piping hot. The starters were quite small and we both wanted the sticky toffee pudding but there wasn't any available so had to choose another alternative. A shout out to Ryan who was our waiter for our time there and what a lovely, well mannered member of staff you have. He couldn't do enough for us. The live singer whilst eating was a lovely touch to the afternoon.

I’m a regular to this place for Sunday lunch and also for the evening meal with live music. Reasons why? The food is always delicious, the staff are very friendly and attentive and the manager Ann is lovely and very accommodating for any particular requests. If you haven’t been before then I can’t recommend this place enough. Definitely one of my top 5 places to eat in Liverpool

Lovely place down by the docks. First time I’ve been here and definitely not the last! My aunt booked a table for a family meal (which are usually really awkward I must add) after being anxious about the get together I really wasn’t expecting to laugh and enjoy the evening at all! Young man named Decklan had my nan and aunt dancing and laughing the whole time. He is such a young gent! Food was good, atmosphere was great. Memorable evening indeed! We have been taking our Formby High School Sixth Form Leavers to Blundell Street for the past few years to mark the occasion of their completion of study and as part of the celebrations of their achievements. Once again you hosted and managed a wonderful event last month. You and your staff worked tirelessly and with great cheer to accommodate 100 excited young people and older staff who had an absolute ball.

Not going to be a "flowery" review, I am not Jay Rayner however, brill welcome, really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful waitress, great food and ace atmosphere. Even when leaving the door security man offered to provide a cab if we needed it. The staff across the board are brilliant and clearly enjoy their jobs!

El sábado pasado, y 19 amigos fuimos a Blundell Street para celebrar mi 50 aniversario. ¡Todos pasaron un gran momento, desde los más jóvenes a los 18 años y los más viejos a los 78! El grupo, The Big Boy Band Reunion, fue fantástico e incluso incluyó un poco de participación de la audiencia para quienes celebramos.

We visited Blundell street on the 2nd Feb as a group of ladies celebrating my mothering laws 70th birthday,upon arrival I told the waitress that I had an allergy to seafood as it was on the menu ,but was not on the menu when I looked on line before I visited.

Llegué temprano pero fue muy bien recibido. Bebidas en el bar - el anfitrión no podría ser mejor. Luego nos acompañaron a nuestra mesa donde compartimos una botella de vino mientras cenábamos. Comida de buen nivel con raciones muy grandes. Ambiente animado ya que había una despedida de soltera, 40 y 70 fiestas de cumpleaños. El cantante hizo subir a los invitados de todas las edades a la pista de baile y todos pasaron una buena noche.

I had my 60th birthday party here in January and it couldn't have been better. Ann and the team did a great job and made everyone feel welcome. I'd asked for vegetarian food and it was amazing, the DJ did a great job and the venue is excellent for a party. I got a lot of compliments from friends and family who were there saying they had a great night so I hope I'm there again for someone else's party.

Went to Blundell Street Restaurant for the first time. It was a gift from our children. Whilst eating the roast dinner I bit in something hard which was in the middle of the vegetables. I took it out & it was a long oblong piece of plastic. I could have choked. I alerted the waitress & she said she would tell the chef. She came back & offered us a drink, as I was driving I just had a soft drink. Neither the Manager nor the Chef came to apologise. There were children there & it could have easily been them.

My organisation hired Blundell Street for three days in September for a range of panel discussions, private roundtables/seminars and a reception. Ann and her friendly team consistently went above and beyond to ensure our events ran without any problems. Everything from the characteristic venue to the delicious, varied and plentiful catering options were appreciated by everyone that visited.

We heald our annual staff party here. The venue had really great atmosphere. The food was lovely and I cant thank Anne Dowds enough for helping us bring the event together. Would defo recommend the Supper club for for any private party or function in Liverpool. Everyone really enjoyed it. Great service by all the bar staff and door men. Cliff Jenkinson the singer was brilliant too.

We had a voucher for a 3 course meal and a Band night and were booked for a night in May. Unfortunately I had some health problems and we had to cancel. The lady we spoke with was most sympathetic and said to contact when we were ready to rebook. We went last night long after the voucher had expired what excellent customer service and empathy. We enjoyed a 3 course meal and an Abba tribute all very good. One of the things about Blundell Street is all the staff are so friendly and good. Lauren and Damian were just awesome last night and their employer should be very proud to employ them. We have been going to Blundell Street for 15 years and it continues to offer a unique experience

I know that it is already quite some time back but as the story is still frustrating me I have to write this comment: We travelled to Liverpool for New Years Eve and we have done a reservation for New Years Eve dinner at Blundell Street via Open Table. We received confirmation from the restaurant and travelled to Liverpool. Just a few days before New Years Eve the restaurant has just cancelled the reservation without any reason or explanation! This is not the way to deal with customers! Luckily there are several other possibilities in Liverpool to go out for dinner (also without reservation) - so my recommendation: try something different like the Smugglers Cove at Albert Dock instead of spending money at Blundell Street. Seems that they have enough regular clients and do not need any new guests.

Nunca oído hablar de este lugar antes, pero un amigo nos dio un vale groupon para la Navidad para un asado de 3 platos los domingos. Desde fuera, el lugar no parece mucho, pero por dentro estaba un poco mejor. Tuve el bacon y ensalada black pudding para empezar que en realidad era muy agradable. Para el plato principal, teníamos el asado pero el pollo estaba muy sosa y brócoli no estaba hecha. Para el postre, tuve la tarta de fresa que también era bueno. Los entrantes y el postre fue sin duda el más destacado. Sin embargo, el lugar no estaba muy caliente y me senté con chaqueta en todo lo que no ayudará a sentirse relajado.
