Molly Malones in Liverpool

Never been in here before but popped in on Tuesday and it was nice, loved the kegs in the toilet cool idea. Hope to see you soon guys 👍🏼

Molly Malones is a big city centre Irish pub I always enjoy visiting. This pub looks superb, interior is as Irish as it gets,all the Irish related bric a brac adorning the walls you would expect to find in an Irish pub,a cool looking serving bar, great decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a great pub to unwind in. We ordered beers from Carlsberg Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great pub we were in. A big fan of this famous Danish beer ,its a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub, just a totally delicious and thirst quenching beer indeed. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Molly Malones Pub we had a great time. Molly Malones Pub is easy to locate along Victoria Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Watched a great Irish band here was going to visit a few other pubs but the band and atmosphere was so good we ended up staying there

Don't speak with a local accent the bar maid with the black hair won't like you otherwise

Please clean your Bar at least ones a week. Everthing dirty and sticky. And it was soooooooooooo warm inside that you had to leave again. We use to like it there so please.

Had an exhausting hiking trip with friends. We were excited for an Irish pub, but a impolite guy refused us because we were wearing walking pants. Would have give a 0 if it was possible. Very very impolite.

My go to pub in Liverpool cannot get enough of it, very friendly staff and lovely patrons, live music is always a blast. Cannot recommend enough!

Superb traditional Irish pub. Great value for drinks. Bar staff absolutely superb and the door staff were really helpful. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting when I'm next in Liverpool

I had been to an event in the echo arena and first place I wanted to go after it finished was here as I’ve been going here for years, I had a normal pair of shorts on, the girl behind the bar said she wasn’t serving me as I had tracksuit shorts on? I didn’t have tracksuit shorts on, I tried to tell the girl they wasn’t tracksuit shorts but she ignored me being rude and ignorant, i also told her there was someone else in the bar with shorts on but she just made an excuse that his shorts were acceptable, I also told her I had the same shorts on Sunday when I was here but she said ‘well I wasn’t working was I’ so it’s obviously not a bar policy if I was allowed in on Sunday, she just obviously had an issue with me, not sure if it’s cause I had a local accent? She obviously let the Irish lad in with shorts so she had just made a judgement against me, i have a lot of friends who come down from Glasgow and Derry I’ll be telling them to avoid this bar in the future especially if they have shorts on

The security guard with dilated pupils told me my track suit bottoms was a no entry (I was wearing semi casual dress pants..)

Got 2 doubles 17.60 went the Richmond got 2 more doubles £8 tell me why ????!!

Very friendly place, with excellent live music! We didn't eat here, so can't comment on food. Was quite warm in there (mainly due to people dancing I think), but was a great atmosphere. Would recommend for the craic!

We stumbled upon this place while walking around Liverpool and did we get lucky! It was a cute place with very nice employees, but it was the music that was incredible!! Two great bands playing Irish music all night long and were both fabulous. I can safely say that this was my favorite pub while in Liverpool and London. Not sure if I'll ever get back, but if I do this will be my first stop!!

Left my phone on the bar during a night out, called the next morning and the staff had seen it and kept it safe for me to collect the next day. Brother in law had a similar experience with a bag which was also kept safe. Fantastic owners and staff, very grateful, thank you!

Pretty big Irish pub in town, not far off Mathew street. Guinness is ok here, especially if you get one of the Irish barmaids to pour it. Quiet during the day but gets busier later on, usually have the footy on.

Molly Malones is a superb Irish pub thats in a superb area of the city centre and is one of the many Irish pub's and bar's located in the city centre.This is an excellent Irish pub with a superb Irish themed interior with lots of interesting fixtures and features and lots of good seating options and fantastic staff who make you feel most welcome. This is a fantastic Irish pub and one we visit every-time we are in this area as it's a lively pub and they show live sport and they host live music.We visited in the afternoon and it wasn't really that busy.We took a seat near the main bar area and had a few beers. When we visited here we had a few glasses of Carlsberg brewery fruit ciders a brilliant cider which were perfectly served and well priced.This is a fantastic Irish pub in a very nice area of the city centre and so easy to find as its just off Mathew street.(This is my third review of Molly Malones). Frustrating. So loud and annoying.

Liverpool is full of great Irish bars and great Irish heritage but the staff and manager of this place have terrible unwelcoming attitudes, good Guinness,good bar just terrible attitudes from the girls in there ?🤷‍♂️ 🇮🇪

Gary the bartender is a absolute babe I lost my phone for a few hours and he returned it to me he is so helpful and lovely give him a bonus he deserves it

We attended this Irish bar ( most of group being Irish) for a hen party after we’d been in a restaurant. Ordered a drink and one of our party had the wrong thing ordered so she asked to take it back . The bar did not have brandy so they offered a whisky instead which she wanted to swap with something she wanted . She told the staff behind the bar she’d ordered the wrong drink, she was ignored with which the manager then came down stating that she had been rude to her staff! The most bizarre turn of events so we swiftly left and spent our money in a better Irish bar which had live music and sold brandy ! Not sure what the staff issue was but we didn’t hang around to find out , not worth spending anymore of our money in there and defo won’t recommend or go back.

Fun Irish bar with good sports coverage

Nice place. It is enormous. Must have been a bank or something in the past. Lovely staff, live music and great Guinness. A decent pub in the centre of town. Worth a visit.

Best pint of Guinness North of Hadrian's wall. Great body, slight creaminess with a refreshing taste that'll take your breath away.

Went in Saturday evening, it was quite busy then, got served pretty quickly though. music was nice and loud not much to complain about. Will more than likely be back sometime on our usual pub crawl after watching Everton.

Liverpool is home to so many Irish pubs ,Molly Malones Pub is just one of many such pubs I always enjoy visiting. This pub is big ,the interior of superb, a cute looking serving bar, all the Irish bric a brac adorning the walls and ceiling you would expect to find in a good Irish pub and tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport, there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, all in all its a great pub. We were here on a Thursday afternoon, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and we were allocated a table were a very pleasant member of the bar team took our order of a guinness each, poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we settled down and planned out the day ahead while sipping our guinness. My guinness was absolutely superb, a thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold guinness bursting with taste, on a hot afternoon it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew. We really enjoyed our guinness in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Molly Malones Pub we had a very positive experience. Molly Malones Pub is easy to locate along Victoria Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, Midday till 11pm. Friday & Saturday, Midday till 2am. Sunday, Midday till 11pm. A wonderful Irish pub, if you're in this part of Liverpool most definitely well worth seeking out.

First arrived to be seated on a double couch with someone sitting at the edge of the couch!! If you like your feet sticking to the floor then this is the place for you!! No social distancing in place what so ever. The bar staff took our drinks order, 20 mins later still no drinks and yet people after us that came in got there drinks. Eventually got our drinks!! The next is the toilets omg I’ve never experienced the state of the women’s toilet use your imagination!! I couldn’t even begin to describe them!!! The whole place was dirty it should closed down quick or in need of a major refurbishment. Never again will I visit which I can only explain is a dive!!

Molly Malone's on Victoria street is a superb Irish pub and is one of many Irish pubs and bars in the city centre. A big pub with an open-plan Irish themed interior with many interesting fixtures and features and a superb range of seating options. They offer a superb food and drinks menu and all the food ingredients are locally sourced and also freshly cooked. A great pub to watch sport as there are many TV screens throughout the pubs interior and the bar staff in here are very friendly.After we gave track and trace details we took our seat and as it's still table service a friendly staff member came to our table and we ordered a few glasses of Guinness. The Guinness was excellent as it alway's is in here and well priced for a pub of this quality.This is an excellent pub and is well worth visiting and is very easy to find from Moorfields train station turn left onto Dale street and right onto Stanley street it's on the corner of Victoria street. Such a pity about staff and poor service particularly from barman with hat on- no manners and should not work in service. Atmosphere and live music was great but unfortunately extremely rude staff (one in particular) will prevent me from returning here.

Always pay a visit to Molly Malones when we are in Liverpool brings a sile to my face and reminds me of my time living in Ireland. It has a great atmosphere when live music is on and an excellent pint of Guinness.

I love mollys it’s one of my favourite bars in town but every time we visit the girl with the ginger hair is always rude and makes us all feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. All of my friends feel the same about her that it makes us feel like she is chasing us out before we even get a drink. So unwelcoming!!!

Had home made irish soup as we didnt want a roast so close to christmas so the chef made the soup, it was really tasty, really friendly staff, so glad there back open

Nicely decorated but bathroom was not fit for use.

No social distancing measures in place, sticky tables from previous occupants and a vodka and coke so watered down it tasted just like coke! The only good thing about this pub was the live music!!

Brilliant little pub, came on a Tuesday evening so was pretty quite but the young lass behind the bar was very polite and helpful with things to do in the city, cute little cocktails too and not too expensive.

Great atmosphere enjoy live music but the social distancing measures seemed to fall by the way side as the night went on. Came in the day time everything was great, however came back about 8 ish nobody was monitoring the numbers on the doors all the tables were full and then lots of people were stood in-between them singing and dancing.we choose to as there was no social distancing,also the we were at ad not been cleaned after the previous occupants, such a shame as we love this pub.

Nos encanta este pub y los músicos que tienen son geniales. Todo arriba es encantador.Abajo, los baños tienen que ser los peores en Liverpool. Absolutamente sombrío.y antes de que la gerencia nos dijera que se están actualizando, visitamos el año pasado durante el mismo fin de semana y fueron malos, pero al menos 4 trabajaron, este año solo 2 funcionan y uno de ellos se inundó, por lo que no se hizo nada en más de un año.

Great Irish pub with reasonable drinks, good music and a fun atmosphere. It's located near a lot of other busy clubs so it works well as a starting off point or somewhere to go if you fancy something different.

The Molly Malones Pub is a great city centre Irish pub I always look forward to visiting on any trip into Liverpool I take.I love the look of this pub, the interior is fantastic, a proper pubby interior, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar, all the Irish bric a brac adorning the walls you would expect to find in a good Irish pub, there's a pool table and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, it's a great place to unwind in. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Saturday night, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, we ordered a guinness each, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle,we just chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. Went for my daughters 30th, this placed made our night. They couldn't have been any more accommodating. We were on a pub crawl but finished up staying in here 4 hours. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, the staff were fab. Highly recommend a visit.

Coole Livemusik, angemessene Preise und schöne Atmosphäre

Having spent a few days away just before Xmas, what a really nice place to just hang out, great atmosphere and great vibe, one thing to look out for though was throughout our visit there was a group of unusual people mingling with everyone in a very weird way, they seemed to be operating together in an area just left of this picture and just inside the door. Not sure what they were up to but they were strange enough for the four of us to be wary of them.

Love Irish bars, atmosphere is always the best. Only downfalls are it was absolutely freezing inside last time I went and only one barmaid serving (she was beautiful by the way haha) and it was really busy, so took a while to get served. Not her fault of course

Pub was so warm n welcoming n as we were in their was a hen party celebrating, cracking nite, full of singing n dancing n the best bit of all was speaking to the guitarist when i asked him to play REVOLUTION n he kept saying he wasn't up to scratch as he had hurt his finger! he dedicated a Beatles song called "GIRL!' was amazing at the song, can only sing his praise as he sang a lennon song so good, good luck to him as he will.be going places

Food Fabulous Great value for money lovely friendly staff will be back

Was suggested here as we was on our lunch hour and our usual is being renovated. Was surprised to see an Irish pub looking empty for a Friday afternoon and actually asked the barmaid if they was serving food. We ordered burger and chips at £7.50 each and I asked that cheese was added to mine. When it arrived it was nothing special and the chips were frozen nothing fancy and the plate never had coleslaw on it as advertised just more salad on the plate! I have also just worked out that it cost £4.75 for added cheese and half a larger. Before we left I went to use the ladies and also ended up going down a few steps before I did a u-turn due to the smell! Just checked the hygiene rating too and it's a 3 so will not be returning.
