Not used a KFC, for some considerable time, but today we were hungry, it was pouring with rain, & this was handy. Obviously the food is the usual fayre, the service is quick. We were the only customers, in the seating area, which was clean & tidy, staff were pleasant, although, as is often the case with fast food outlets, the staff talk quickly, giving you little time to decide what to order, & then when you do, there are various options. It is difficult to just order simply. However, we enjoyed our food, although the chips could have been hotter.

made the mistake of ordering a delivery, after an hour and a half it said driver was at the restaurant waiting, after 3 hours it still said driver was still waiting and delivery time had passed a hour and a half ago. it then tells me its delivered..... my stomach is telling me otherwise. Please avoid this KFC like the plague if you actually like to eat.

Queued up to get myself a salad at lunch time today 6th April. As it got to my turn to be served the guy behind the counter mumbled something at me when I said pardon he said where were u in the queue? There's a queue that starts at the back you know! Really rude and unprofessional I explained yes I know where the queue started I had waited my turn! He then said what do you want I order my food he chucked me a salad together said anything else as if he couldn't be bothered and looked absolutely miserable . I left feeling really annoyed as he had no manner with him and felt he was really rude to me. I won't return again

Service slow and not a great choice of drinks... does improve with the right team... hopefully my next visit will be better

Waited 13/4 hours, no meal. Tried to cancel but it said they were preparing the meal so it was too late to cancel. After another 25 minutes I contacted Deliveroo on Live Chat. They couldn't contact the restaurant & said they would look into it & contact me via e-mail within 72 hrs, then ended chat. Checked again with restaurant on line & it then said the meal was delivered at 1920. Well it wasn't & I lost my money! SCAMMED. DO NOT USE THIS TAKE OUT!!!!!

Food delivered stone cold inedible would like to say the dog was fed well but even she turned her nose at it. Complete waste of money

Order from here tonight on there app at 20.20 got confirmation food would be delivered by 21.20 food never arrived checked the app and said order had been cancelled but they have taken the money from my account. Rang the shop and said they close at 11 but stop taking orders at 20.00 asked why my order was excepted then and they say they can’t deliver as the cooks go home at 20.00 and won’t refund just get abuse from them on the phone absolutely ridiculous!!!! Should be able to rate 0 stars!!!!

My friend and I have often visited this wonderful place but have only had a meal once a long time ago. Almost three weeks ago we went for a meal. I was so glad to see some gluten free options, vegetarian too. I did still mention that I am a coeliac explaining about that I cannot have any gluten. I chose the five bean casserole which was delicious. However, about an hour after we left Istarted with the symptoms of having had gluten. I collapsed on the ground outside, nearby and people came to help. My friend drove me home back to Blackpool, about 45 minutes. The whole way I was violently sick and losing consciousness. My friend had to keep talking to me and shaking me. When we got home, the ambulance was called which came very quickly. Four paramedics worked on me for two hours. The whole thing was a nightmare. I have informed Diamond Resorts through their website, as I couldn't see any way to contact Thurnham itself except regarding bookings. To date I have had no response! I'm writing this review to highlight it to the staff that to require a gluten free option is not a fad. It is a complete necessity as Coeliac Disease is an autoimmune condition. Also to let other coeliacs know not to eat here.
