made the mistake of ordering a delivery, after an hour and a half it said driver was at the restaurant waiting, after 3 hours it still said driver was still waiting and delivery time had passed a hour and a half ago. it then tells me its delivered..... my stomach is telling me otherwise. Please avoid this KFC like the plague if you actually like to eat.

Missing item’s practically every time I’ve used this kfc. If I were you I’d do yourself a favour and never order from this kfc to save your blood pressure from raising.

Ordered a boneless dipping feast....ordered beans, got gravy.....ordered an extra popcorn chicken £4....it was missing. Got the wrong chips. So got half a dinner ...30 quid.

Now i love KFC chicken, i really do but this branch in Lancaster near the hospital is a bit grim. The place has been around for a very long time and it feels very dated, bad atmosphere.

It was by far the worst food I had in the UK. Not only the chicken was burnt and had a strange taste, but also I found hair in my food

Terrible service!! Made an order on the website and paid, went to collect which is a 40 minute round trip to be told my order hadn’t gone through and so I couldn’t have the food and I’d have to wait and sort a refund myself through customer service as it wasn’t their problem it was an online issue. Showed them the money going out of my bank and they couldn’t have cared less. Customer Service is nonexistent!! There was another customer there at the same time with exactly the same problem. Haven’t been in years and won’t be going back ever!!

They have a word in Ireland for food like this and that word is “Cat” I really don’t have anything nice to say about this place,just be sure I won’t be back,I find it hard to comprehend how you can shrink portion sizes down to this microscopic size and still charge stupid prices.It’s just a total rip off.

I placed an order through the just eats app today 22nd july 2023, when my order came there was an immediate problem, I ordered a filet burger, my friend a zinger burger along with a boneless bucket. The problem was both burgers were in the exact same type of box with no way to tell which was which. You would think they would come in there own easy identifiable boxes. Very simple to fix but not applied as they did the same thing the last we ordered from kfc lancaster.

Not what it used to be. More takeaway than inhouse eating. Fries very mediocre. French fries were the best. Chicken excellent. Veg burger, dry unappetizing. KFC, Not what it used be. WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN

Awful, kept waiting for over 15 mins to order at the till. Staff just completely ignored me, to busy completing just eats orders! Huge back log, not enough staff and long delay in what was substandard food!

Visited this place last month, simply forgot to do a review on here. Would not recommend this place at all!! It is ran by a load of children who don’t have a clue what they’re doing. Staff are too busy stood around chatting to take people’s orders, waited 25 minutes before we were even served, which I thought was a joke. As me and my husband started to walk towards the door to leave, it was suddenly time to get our order taken! Our order was very simple, yet half of it was missing! This is due to the lack of concentration from the staff members as they were all involved in their own conversations rather than getting the food into bags. Personally, I think they should hire older staff members who actually know what they’re doing!

I’ve been trying to chase that initial ‘KFC high’ for years and gave it another try. The store was FILTHY with ants crawling about, still, they were cleaner than one of the clientele who was in her dressing gown, at 1900. On a Tuesday. I got a bargain bucket. It was neither a bargain nor a bucket. I did use the bucket as a make shift toilet after mine got blocked. Wouldn’t go here again.

Unbelievable.. simple order, got home and half of it missing Every single customer in front had their order checked and food was missing. Complete scammers, money saving techniques, half orders. What wasters!!!!

The restaurant was dirty....all the free tables hadn't been wiped. ..the hand sanitizer was empty...when I visited the toilets all glass and door handles were greasy and I'm sure unhygienic..the waiting time was over 20 minute's...other people were complaining about their orders not being right...When the food came we were very disappointed..no crispy coating on the chicken..it was soggy as well as the chips ..whats happened to the good old KFC ????

Now, I'm not one to write bad reviews. But honestly, this is needed! I went tonight 28/02/2023 and ordered 2 pieces of chicken and a gravy at approx 8pm. After waiting about 10 minutes to actually order as no one came up to the counter to take my order! I was paying with cash, so I couldn't just use the tablets. I finally ordered and didn't receive a receipt, so I didn't actually know what my order number was! About 5 or so later, 3 friends of one of the servers came in and ordered. Meaning the lad then ignored everyone and everything whilst taking the order of his friends. At about 8.30, i still had no order. One of the servers' friends received his order. A small popcorn chicken, so I let it go cos I figured that was easy to make. 5 minutes later, his other friends then received their orders, which is when I went to complain! Asked why they had received their order before me and was told 'his order was easy'. I asked how 2 pieces of chicken wasn't an easy order. I was then asked for my order number, which I explained I didn't get my receipt, so I didn't know, so he searched the screen with the orders to find it. Low and behold. My order wasn't even on the list!!! I finally got my food after complaining about this, I got to the car and checked as I just wanted out of there as it's an absolute pigsty. They clearly don't clean up, and I didn't even get the chicken I asked! I wanted drumsticks, and I received thighs or something. Utter disgrace. I won't be going back anytime soon due to the utter lack of anything from the staff. It's absolutely shocking. Which is a shame because I really enjoy the chicken and gravy!

Took my grandson for a treat.He ordered hot wings meal.Not an once of chicken on these wings the chips were cold and were black in more places than you could imagine.I had a chicken on a bun with chips,the coating on covering the chicken was so hard I couldn't bite through it.Once again the chips were disgusting.They had no hot drink or milkshakes or even salt.The place was almost empty but the tables and floor was a disgrace.We left having eaten next to nothing.If they had any form of management in there they should be sack at once.All I can say is if you would like food worth eating in a clean environment stay well clear of Lancaster K,F,C.

Food was fine, customer service was fine, but when I came in, the place was an absolute tip, and looked genuinely grubby (photo only shows a small part of uncleanliness). It made it a bit off putting to sit down, managing to find only one seat which only barely seemed clean enough. Lots of trays and empty food boxes on tables; lots of rubbish under seats, which was strange, considering that there were only about 4 people sitting in, and staff didn’t really seem rushed of their feet. A girl came to clean up everything after I left though, who seemed polite.

No hot drinks, no popcorn chicken can't get the basics right missing parts of order and that's when it's empty I'd hate to go when it's busy

This KFC has been famously bad for years. Without fail, 100% of the time, they will get your order wrong or you'll open your bag to find stuff missing. The delivery is even worse, it's not worth ordering on ubereats at all. All the drivers have issues with the food being late and some just won't go there because the staff are too slow. I think KFC lancaster needs new management as everyone has joked about how bad it is there for years with no signs of ever improving.

Machines broken. Huge queue. Hopeless inept staff. Food Was supposed to be delivered to the table.. all other tables got the food not us. Ours was left to go cold on the counter, whilst we sat waiting at the table.

Service excellent, food excellent. Environment abysmal, covid risk high, delivery persons not wearing masks properly just over chin does not work, KFC staff obviously don't give a damn.

I've ordered from Lancaster KFC a few times over the past year. Sometimes they get the order spot on with fast delivery, other times I've waited over two hours for my food and it's been wrong. You try and call the restaurant number but nobody answers the phone. I've ordered once through Deliveroo and it never turned up at all. Other times I use Uber or Just Eat, depending if either of them have a promotion on. More often than not there's been a problem of some kind with the order. Uber and Just Eat are generally good at sorting issues out but they shouldn't have to. Anyway, I've attached a photo of the chips I received with my meal tonight. The pic's a bit blurry but you can get the gist - not even half full with chips, absolutely ridiculous!

Ordered our kfc via ubereats, I was really looking forward to our takeaway. The delivery was quick from uber eats. The delivery bag had our order ticket attached which was printed correctly however the contents inside were completely wrong. The staff at kfc had packed our order incorrectly. I had ordered the boneless bucket, gravy and fries as our sides. We got no gravy, no boneless chicken and no popcorn chicken (which was included) so I tried to call kfc Lancaster 3 times with no answer. I then drove down to the store to return my food and get the correct food. I was told I would have to complain to ubereats, even though it was kfc who packed my order wrong!! Baffled!! And to make matters worse I was told basically tough we don't have the food at this time of night. It was around 9.30pm. I was furious! So I had to leave with the food I had NOT ordered and that was NOW cold, great! We don't even like beans so they had to go in the bin, and I had to go without any chicken as I don't like chicken on the bone so it was just cold fries for me!!I emailed the kfc team with my complaint to be told I would have to complain to ubereats!! Honestly I'm shocked! It was NOT ubereats fault it was the staff in kfc Lancaster who packed my order wrong! The kfc team were not reading my information I had just explained, they seemed to be ignoring the issue and blaming ubereats!! So strange and very odd. So i wouldn't bother complaining as you just waste your own time and effort in explaining the situation. I did get a refund from ubereats even though it wasn't ubereats fault!! I have collected an order from kfc Lancaster in the past and got home to find my order wrong and had to go back; so it seems to be a reoccurring issue. I'm so disappointed with their service and won't be going again.

The wait was appalling and didn’t even get my order right! I decided after a long and tiering football match that I would drive to kfc and get myself a treat as the drive home was an hour long. When I arrived the que was so long it backed into the roundabout! (I didn’t care, I was too hungry) once I got to the drive through telecom Order (I don’t know what it’s called) I had to repeat my order At least three times until the man got my order “correct”. After that I drove straight to where they gave me my order. (May I remind you that not once has kfc gotten my order remotely right but I thought I would give it another go and may I also remind you this wasn’t necessarily the kfc I’m writing a review on. I am just complaining about kfc in its self as there are so many different ones I have been to) the woman there gave me a Pepsi (my order was chicken popcorn and fries because it was so pricey I didn’t dare order any more) I simply said I didn’t order a Pepsi and in the end she said I had to take the bloody drink (Without the crude language) so then she gave me my bag of food and I was so exited to open it up. I didn’t care about the Pepsi that much I just felt sorry for whoever didn’t get their drink that day, anyway... I saw the chicken and fries and all looked normal until I took a bite into the chicken. Now I’m not one for spicy things at all so when my mouth started feeling like it was on fire and all I had to drink was some Pepsi I didn’t even order that’s when I got mad. It was too late by then and I could t return it because A) I couldn’t be bothered to go in the que and B) I don’t really think they would accept popcorn chicken with about three of them gone and a half drank Pepsi... so after that I drove home while my mouth was practically a burning building...

I deliver for Uber eats, and this is the only restaurant I will not accept orders from! I am not sure if it is a management problem, a system problem or a staffing problem, but whatever it is, they need to get their s**t together! Delivery’s have taken 3 hours to get to customers sometimes! If you’re ordering on a Friday or Saturday night, prepare for a very long wait time!! Would never order from here on either of them nightsHopefully in time they can improve the speed of service, but as of now, it is not very good!

Its a real shame that there are no staff that can read at KFC Lancaster or that's how it seems! The food is lovely when it all arrives which is never. There is always something missing from my order. Sometimes it's a full meal missing sometimes it's just a side or 2. Really puts me off going.

This is the 3rd time this has happened now we have ordered from kfc many times before but they ALWAYS forget to deliver things. This is the 3rd time that we have had a full meal missing and only get a refund for the missing food. This clearly isn’t good enough as a member of the family then does not eat or the whole family have to share when they give you the bare minimum anyway. A bag of chips contains about 6 chips and a the chicken is chewy and the outer shell is rock hard. We have always loved kfc but this last year it has been disgraceful and we are not going to be visiting here again. I spoke to the manager who tried to help but clearly something needs to be done as the member of staff are incompetent and obviously cannot read. A full meal isn’t hard to miss when looking at the order and the thing that’s frustrates me most is the label; check and sealed... CLEARLY NOT !!! this seriously need fixing as it’s losing customers and members of staff need to sort out there act. I’m a part time student worker and I know the stress but I would never manage to miss out full meals from an order !!! This is not good enough. Sort it out !

So fed up to write a damning review of KFC , but its the second time in a month we have tried the food here , both times the chicken pieces in the family feast are all the same shape ( no larger pieces ) , all wings and drumsticks ( presume these are cheaper cuts) , its way to greasy , the bottom of the chicken tub awash with slimy brown grease - yuk , chips are dry and tasteless , beans were stone cold , we ordered 3 bottles of water with the meal as we could use them later , oh no , your getting 3 cups of water , told the lady she can keep them , overall poor value ( meal totalled £38 ) , we wont be back during the " covid " pandemic as obviously its having an effect on the cooking of chicken .

Went with the bird for a meal and the two people behind the counter had plenty of time to gossip yet not clean anywhere, with the covid pandemic figured cleanliness would be an over the top priority, every single table was covered in rubbish and crums, then when the guy that cleans came out to clean he did the table tops and just left all the crums on the floor, what a joke . The restaurant had only two tables worth of customers so not exactly busy either. Dossy cleaning standards

Absolute trash. Waste of money and time, fast food... I’ve seen people with crutches move faster. Absolute joke, order completely wrong and missing half the stuff. 25 minutes with staff working at snail pace. Really disappointed. Sort your staff out.

KFC LancasterWe ordered lunch through uber eats today. Delivery time was great as it only took half an hour to arrive.I ordered a trilogy box meal for £8.99 which includes a zinger burger, two sides ( I had gravy and fried), popcorn chicken and a mini fillet. Uber eats due to distance charges £3.99 for delivery and I think the service charge is up to 10% of the bill.Verdict - I haven't had a zinger burger in a while so really enjoyed it. I like having a variety type box so I could pick at different bits and the fries are so much better since they have become skin on fries. The gravy was a bit thin compared to usual but the flavour was still good. Nothing was missing so a big improvement from last time and the food arrived warm.

Tried to order of the app went in to the store and was told order had come through but I could order and pay again but they wouldn’t refund I’d have to go customer service on the app had the get the refund 2 days latter through Apple Pay

Order through Deliveroo. Order states that it had been delivered, IT WASN'T! Now I have spent £20 and I'll have to wait 48 hours for it the be put back into my account. This has happened twice, I should have learnt from my first experience, but I gave in to the kids as a treat. Some git is currently eating the dried chicken I ordered from KFC hope it gives you dysentery.

Have ordered through uber on a couple of occasions and my order was wrong twice! The 1st time my order was completely wrong and the second time my drink was wrong. I've just walked in and ordered, got home to find out my order was missing parts from both meals, having had 2 bad experiences recently i drove back to the shop to let them know and ask for the missing pieces. I wasn't even offered an apology, just some chicken shoved in my direction! On top of that the food was luke warm and honestly pretty bland! Local businesses are now out competing this high street chain and from now on I will be using them instead. The food quality is of a much higher standard and they are actually glad of your custom.

Everything about it was terrible from the minute I walked in the door. The staff were beyond rude, they barely even communicated with me, it was so awkward. The food arrived more or less straight away. Walked to the car and realised some of it was missing. What was in the bag was so disgusting I threw it away. Ordered a couple of meals and sides for delivery. The food didn’t take long to come, but was stone cold and half the order was wrong or missing. This happens far too often from here. Why nothing has been done to sort these problems is beyond me. If I only wanted half my order then that’s all I’d of ordered and paid for!

Horrendous. Had a delivery 3 times every single time they mess up the order massively. Incompetent, useless staff who I sometimes think must purposefully go out of their way to get an order wrong as it’s so drastically incorrect every single time. Then they make it impossible to contact to get it changed. The numbers you call online are invalid, the app won’t let you change an order and they will only refund you for 1 item missing. I ordered 2 large gravy and got 1 small beans and 1 large beans, ordered 2 large fries and got none, they also got all the dips wrong and put the wrong sauce on my fillet burger. Not only that the food was disgusting. It was cold, there was little to no lettuce and it was all mushed up. My partner and I are key workers and been working all week and thought we would get a quick and easy treat. Yet again disappointed by the lack of intelligence in the staff and lack of consideration. You don’t need GCSE’s or brains to read a ticket and put the correct food in someone’s bag. I think they either need to retrain the staff they have or hire some new ones. DO NOT ORDER FROM KFC. I gave them 3 chances to not screw up and they did everytime. Waste of money, time and worst of all I’m still bloody hungry.

I always go with my partner, they always mix up our sides with our orders, there's always some sort of mess up, this last time was an absolute train wreck, ordered a boneless banquet and what I received were 3 boneless chicken, one small chips and my side order of mash and my drink, considering I also paid for a large I was ripped off greatly, also, my partners chips tasted like bleach whilst mine were fine, clearly there was some BIG contamination with his chips (considering his immune system is compromised we had to bin them just in case it made him very sick), while the store was busy, they shouldn't be this incompetent, incredibly disappointing.

There are more options for sides than there ever has been such as mash potato. Three of us ordered burger box meals that included a piece of chicken, fries and gravy. One of us ordered a original chicken meal and ordered mash with it to try something new.Sadly the order was late as deliveroo struggled to find a driver by about 20 minutes. It was £3.99 for delivery and a 20p service charge. There was one mistake with the order when it arrived that the mash potato was missing from one of the meals so some of us shared our fries so it was made to a full meal. The food did arrive warm and on a whole we all enjoyed it. For the bacon and cheese fillet burger decent bacon was used. The coating on the chicken was really crispy. The gravy can be hit and miss but today it was quite good.

Haven't been to KFC for more then 30 years but saw the poster for the vegan burger, thought I would give it a try. Asked the for a vegan burger meal, where I was informed the chip were not suitable for vegans having been fried in the same oil as the chicken. Went I got the burger it was nothing special with having a small leaf of iceberg lettuce and some sort of white sauce.

Place was packed out and very under staffed. Food took at eternity to be served. Bread buns were stale. Chips were cold.

Like most KFC, standards are there own. I Like the food here, the best option is mega box, good value. I used to go to Chester's but awful now and this has improved.

I often meet clients at this kfc branch as it's always clean and the service is always second to none. Met for a meeting today and was greeted by I think a female manager as she was wearing a shirt, excellent customer service from start to finish, very busy lunch time but my visit was flawless. Thank you

On Monday i visited the store and was greeted by the new kiosks, after staring at them and having no idea the manager Angela came out and helped me from start to finish with my order, she also talked me through my order number on the screen and receipt before seating us and bringing the food over. Great service thank you Angela

Visited tea time for a quick meal was going to eat in but place was grubby bins were full and mess all over floor we got a bucket of six pieces and chips about five minutes later we attempted to eat them, two of the pieces of chicken were just scrag ends and the chips were stone cold, what has happened to both this and the one at Morecambe same poor reviews , it will be a long time till I visit any of these again

The new mash is amazing and always available un like some other local stores. As usual the restaurant was clean and staff helpful. Every visit has been good lately I'm not sure if you have a new team in but keep doing wheat your doing

I was not welcomed when I approached the counted the member of staff who served me was called Chris. During my visit Chris continued to talk and laugh with his friend who was a customer and his friend also helped him self to a drink even though he was stood on my side of the counter. When I first ordered my food I was told by Chris that I could not have a zinger stacker because there was none left and I was also told I could not have 20 hot wing because there was also none left. When ordering I request that I want a piece of chicken rather then hot wings with my meal which I did not receive. During my order and other costomers orders Chris continued to mess about and laugh with his friend who by the looks of it was waiting for Chris to finish work. The 2 customers who ordered before me both brought there food back to the counter because there orders was wrong. I then received my order after waiting 25 minutes to then discover my order was wrong. I was given 2 hot wings rather then the 4 I ordered and a small Pepsi rather then the large tango I ordered I went back to the counter and Chris was busy still messing about with his friend I then told him about my wrong order and his friend laughed at me I felt very intimidated by this and there was no apology given by chis. I then got home to discover that the piece of chicken I ordered was replace with hot wings without my knowledge. Overall I am very disappointed by this store and I should hope that Chris is made aware of his poor costomer service.

Ordered various items via deliveroo app. Unfortunately they did not send our dip. Last time they failed to send the coleslaw. How difficult can it be to provide what has been paid for? It does leave a bad taste. Great delivery time from deliveroo.

Takeaway..........food cold 2 items of order missing chips dry limp and burnt. Service awful, had to shout to the back of the kitchen as no one was in shop front. It’s been a while since we have been to KFC but will definitely not be returning.

Visited the Lancaster branch last night and my visit 5* excellent food, clean environment, friendly staff couldn't ask for anymore. Over the last year this place has improved massively and is my go to place when meeting friends

Ate in Lancaster KFC yesterday and the food was delicious so had to leave a review. Staff were helpful dining area was clean. Female Manager seemed to be sat doing an interview on the seating area and walked past me and asked if everything was ok as did the girl sweeping was a lovely touch

I visited this branch on the 29/04/2019 and used one of the new kiosks, I was struggling to use it when the female manager came over and supported me in placing my order which I found really helpful. Great service and great food. Thank you

I came in during dinner time rush and I must say it was the fastest service I have by far received. The team worked extremely hard to make sure my large order was correct and I was very pleased with the overall experience. Keep up the good work guys

My order to take away was - one 10 piece bargain bucket (10 pieces of original recipe chicken, 4 medium fries) and two portions of 8 hot wings (16 wings in total) a big bag was handed over with two buckets and a brown bag in it. Good, off i go. I get home and start to serve up. What I had been given was 8 pieces of original recipe chicken with 4 fries, and 12 hot wings. That is 2 pieces of original recipe, and 4 wings short of what I paid for. I live too far away to make a trip back to complain worthwhile. Very disappointing.

This goes for Deliveroo also. After a very long day, and no food in the house, at 9:45pm ordered some food from the Lancaster KFC through Deliveroo. At this time, our money has been taken and we are waiting for our food. It states that the place closed at 23:30 but figured we had plenty of time for this to be delivered. After waiting for 1 1/2 hours - I call deliveroo who then transfers my call to KFC Lancaster Manager. I can honestly say I have not spoken to anyone so rude and unwilling to help. He just said they were closing at 23;00 - not 23:30 as it states online!! and couldn’t do anything.

As usual there were items missing from the order. Usually I would check but had to get back to poorly relative. When I called them they told me that I would have to go back to the shop to get the missing items or for a refund. If I did not go back then they would not be allowed to refund me. I asked to speak to someone in charge as to be able to get the complaint procedure and was told that they could not give me any details. Instead I was told that I needed to make the trip out again. Person in charge was either clueless or had no customer service training whatsoever. The wait time and substantial errors make it not worth the trip.

Brought my son here for something to eat prior to light up lancaster the cleanliness of the seating area left me gobsmacked there was food every where as if somebody was having a food fight competition the floor was like an ice rink due to the grease on the floor absolutely disgusting

4 adults and a 9 year old went into this place.The queue was out of the door. We eventually found 2 tables and 2 adults joined the queue. I was sitting at a one table with the child,It was disgusting civered in all sorts of food debris including sauce. My feet were constantly squashing chips all over the floor and the childs seat was wet, with wat we hoped was Coke. Looking around we noticed everyone seemed to be drinking Coke, The reason being there were no hot drinks being served due to a mechanical breakdown. Other customers , on finishing their food were trying to put rubbish into overflowing bins, literally overflowing onto the floor. Looking at my other companions table I saw it was the same, filthy with food on and around it. We got up and informed the adults in the queue that we were leaving. It was a dim, dirty and very badly run outlet. We saw just 2 members of staff serving food and not a soul clearing away.I shudder when I think we may have eaten there.

KFC Lancaster has improved a lot since their revamp. Food also hot. Better service. The place is cleaner, and they seem to have hired people who understand customer service.

Myself and five friends went into KFC before hitting the City for a good night out. It was busy and we was served within five minutes. The staff were friendly and even brought our food over to the table. Food was as expected for KFC and we all enjoyed the meal. Felt a little sorry for the staff because some customers were rather messy but I suppose that's part of the job. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed eating out at KFC.

Yet again another useless service from this KFC - really getting sick of them getting it wrong - who is the manager? So tonight I left shop and drinks all opened up as they piled them up as no large cups, I was happy to be honest as made me check my food, so my child's popcorn chicken meal not there REALLY come on - went back got the missing food but left drinks as split everywhere. Got home to find my bacon and cheese had lost the back and cheese Come on just bun and chicken joke. Didn't end there I lifted my boneless banquet out of bag and the bottom was done right everything over floor. Finally sat down to eat yo find chips stone cold - so even with the new order system this shop is terrible - management need to advocate get order right not rush when busy. Rubbish rubbish

Used this as my go to KFC for the last 10 years as it’s the only one nearby, every visit I’ve been amazed at how long it can take for them to make a few pieces of chicken, shocking service, not sure if he’s the manger but a man called John was the only competent one and he was too busy cleaning up everyone else’s mistakes to serve people

Typical KFC, if you like it you will like this one. Seating a nice light area lots of windows. It is normally clean generally have enough staff on hand.

All as expected with KFC. Place was busy because of Fathers Day I suspect. Tables not cleared properly. Didn't have pepsi max, so had to have replacement. Food okay. Nothing unusual to report.

We popped in for a meal on our way to the hospital thinking it would be quick and easy. There was a que which got longer as we waited. The whole place was dirty. Tables not cleaned, floor not swept, over flowing bins and as for the food, I know it is Kentucky FRIED chicken but the chicken had oil / grease just oozing out of it. Very unpleasant.

So slow 39 minutes from entering to being given food, tables piled with trays and bins overflowing. Staff seem to be brain dead.

Do not bother ordering via Deliveroo, my order took over 2 hours and my friends have had similar experience. Since the refurbishment it is a bit more consistent and the indoor seating has been expanded - still service is slow sometimes.

We arrived at 11:20 to the newly renovated store. We had no wait due to arriving 20 minutes after opening, and we were Hank Marvin so this was greatly appreciated. Our server was called Josh and by gosh was he speedy if not a little unenthused (if you catch my drift). From placing our orders it took around 30 seconds for our piping hot juicy chicken to be delivered.

We were please when the local KFC underwent a refurb as in its original state it was a dirty, grimy horrid restaurant. Thought I would check out the new look and was dismayed that a couple of weeks after reopening I walked in to see a new floor that was covered with chips, tables were disgusting. Whoever manages this place needs to go. Seriously.

Always a long wait here. Useless staff. Food always a bit on the burnt side. Not the best KFC by a long shot.

Slow services , staff ignored you , no urgency to serve you . One staff was chatting to a friend in the q - he was asked to serve and looked put out . Tables were full of eaten food , not cleared away . KFC Lancaster you need to improve- won’t be visiting again

2 of us went about 6.30pm on a Saturday. We could not find a table to sit at that was clean , staff just standing about and not bothering to tidy tables , we eventually cleared 1 ourselves. I got my meal and a side of gravy , the gravy pot was only half full .The staff kept on coming out from behind the counter for a tray at a time to serve people their meal. Why not take a few at a time ?? There was a queue of about 15/20 , service was very slow then the people had the same problem as us ,, finding somewhere to sit to eat. The ladies toilets were locked and no note on the door to explain were there was available ladies toilets. All in all a very bad experience

The food is usually warm, the gravy is good, but the tables and floors are always so dirty. It’s certainly better than the one in Morcambe though.

I don't think that this is the best restaurant that they can make it be. The toilets are disgusting and they hardly ever clean the tables for you. The service is rubbish and it is belittle bit over priced

Ok so Saturday night but was 7pm. Arrived to a Q of 9 and the speed of a sloth. 7 employees, I don't say working as at least 4 weren't, unless you class looking at the Q and deciding that it wasn't long enough as working. When I was served it was polite, but I could have driven to preston and home again in the time I spent waiting to be served and then collect my food. Was in for a 'fast food' takeaway for 35 minutes. Was then charged almost £30 for the pleasure. I do like a KFC on occasions but I definitely won't be back here. I'd suggest KFC pull the franchise from whomever runs it, you are destroying your reputation with this one. Crap

If you're in a rush I wouldn't recommend going here. There always seems to be a lot of staff...but nothing seems to move quickly. Every time i've been lately something has gone wrong. They didn't have everything for one of the box meals one time, but still charged us the same and refused to give us anything in place of it. No salt, no dips, no milkshakes etc. And if you try to email the company to complain you just get ignored.
