We've just got a delivery from this place . As you can see from.the photo , this os the remnants of my boneless ( yes boneless) bucket. I absolutely hate bones hence why I want my chicken boneless. I have no idea how you can get that wrong. Also there was no garlic mayo to assisted me waty non boneless boneless banquet . Utter garbage

Food was hot but girl serving can hardly understand english didn't give me what I asked for then had to pay extra for what I originally wanted, then found a hair in the food Tables are dirty aswell Terrible experience

Dropped in to get an evening meal to take home. I had read the reviews and all stated it was bad well they were right. Purchased 6 piece bucket with fries. The fries I think were from the day before all brown and limp like a bag of worms. On tasting the fries they were horrible because they had been done in the same oil as the Spicy Chicken wings totally unedible and went in the bin. The chicken was hardly warm and covered in slime and 4 pieces went in the bin. The Hygene level is shown as 4 but it was hanging off the door. I have eaten KFC all over the country and has been excellent but not here. It needs to be looked at by KFC management because if it continues to sell food like that it wants closing down. NEVER EVER GOING THERE AGAIN AND AVOID IT LIKE PLAGUE.

Screwed up my order. Overcharged me too. Staff miserable. The floor is disgusting. Wait time is way too long and the quality isn’t great. Been there twice. Both times just as bad. Won’t be returning. Needs closing down

Could have latte as the machine had run out of milk and my husbands twister had nothing in it as they had ran out of coleslaw

Only 2 people in front of us, plenty of staff on shift, but we waited 45 minutes for our order, for it to be wrong when we received it. One seating area was flooded & slippy both seating area’s disgustingly filthy. And the staff did not look hygienic either & not one of them knew what they was doing & couldn’t have worked any slower if they tried. No apology just dirty looks from staff at the unhappy customers. Avoid at all costs, the worst fast food restaurant we have ever been to, slow motion food restaurant. Should be shut down! As we have now heard it has a terrible reputation and has done so for years!

Appalling! From the extremely slow service to the disgustingly dirty dining area. I wasn’t on my own with regards to this ~ customers were asking for refunds due to their wait or because their orders were completely wrong. Another had to ask for spray and a cloth so her children could eat at a clean table! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

I finally went to kfc to see what the fuss was about saying there food tasted like cardboard, I got popcorn chicken and chips which was absolutely vile! None of the tables where clean and the food was barley even cooked. There was only 2 other people at kfc at the time I ordered and the food somehow took up to 15 minutes. I could give the restaurant a minus 1 but that isn’t an option. The members of staff at the front were incredibly rude, when I got my food I went to sit down and nearly slipped because the floor was slippery and yet there was no sign that said ‘wet floor’. I don’t recommend eating from here at all, just get a McDonalds. My cousin works here and comes home miserable because the staff are incredibly horrible, and the manger's treat there employees like homeless people on the street! I say save your money and spend it on something else cause it’s just a waste of money!

I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago, the food was atrocious. Dry chicken, and crusty musty fries, the burger bun was stale! On the day I was there a young teenage girl fell! She seemed hurt. But I continued my food which was bad! I visited the next day on my lunch break because it was the closest place to see if the day before was just an off day, to see other staff members laughing at the girl who fell, for falling even though it was their fault. Again the food was really terrible! The young girl who fell though was lovely. Never and I mean NEVERR go here. It was just bad. Worst place I've ever been in the world and I've been across the world. IT IS BAD!!!!!

Awful KFC, staff member that served me had extremely dirty hands and black nails. The place as a whole is hanging. people working there are childish not focused and joking about shagging each other.... Missed out half my order didn't realize till I got home. Tried calling through no answer. Chicken that I actually got tasted like it was fried in old off oil. Chips cold. No gravy.

Ordered food at 7.10pm and after 40 minutes of waiting still no food & a poor excuse from the manager If I could give it a minus it would be -10 out of 10

...This franchise needs to be closed down immediately. It is an utter disgrace from top to bottom. We visited in the early evening of the last Friday in October. Despite being fairly quiet, the restaurant was absolutely filthy, with discarded rubbish and dropped food all over the floor and tables. While waiting for our food - of which more in a moment - a disinterested teenager made a token effort to wipe some (though not all) tables, leaving numerous crumbs embedded in sticky residue on every table she "cleaned". Her attempts at cleaning the floors were truly pathetic. Initially, we tried to order using the digital screens, only to come unstuck when there were none of the plastic numbered cones you need to identify your table with a two-digit reference. After a couple of minutes trying to catch a staff member's eye, I had to interrupt the five staff members slouching behind the counter, to ask if they had any number boards. The sullen youth who looked at me muttered something inaudible and walked off. When we left half an hour later, there were still no plastic cones to enable anyone to order at the machines. Several other people had encountered the same insurmountable issue and walked out by this point. Forced to order at the counter instead (having wasted five minutes on the machines), there were still five staff members behind the counter waiting for four orders to be cooked. It took over 15 minutes for them to prepare two burgers and four portions of chips. They failed to count to four correctly, and only gave us three portions of chips. The food was at least cooked - perhaps we should be grateful - but the wasteland of discarded rubbish and empty tables made eating it thankless, particularly given the restaurant was surprisingly cold and largely silent. And all this with a tired six year-old in tow. When you think about the efforts other fast food franchises go to to (a) serve food fast and (b) provide some entertainment for children while they wait, KFC Morecambe is a truly desolate environment. I am struggling to remember ever having a more comprehensively awful dining experience at any restaurant anywhere in the world. This franchise is a total disgrace, and anyone who was working on Friday October 24th 2023 should be truly ashamed of themselves, as should the management who allowed this to take place under the KFC brand.

Ordered a simple feast box at 2010pm, and almost 2 hours later, still no update. Been on hold to Uber for more than 25minutes with a "we're really busy" notion ... Poor form. Order apparently cancelled by the store, but zero update from the KFC app or the web order. Immediate payment taken, but up to 15 days for return of funds. Wow. Abysmal service. Won't order again.

Ordered at the Self Service machine and was NOT given a paper receipt as per usual. Food took 40 minutes to be served, two front members of staff, one doing next to nothing - ignoring an elderly couple who wanted to order using the till as they obviously didn’t want to use your technology. They walked out due to being ignored for around 20 minutes. Tables were uncleaned and litter strewn and we have been up all night with severe stomach pains which continue this morning. The member of staff who was not doing a great deal on the counter service had a blazing row with a delivery driver in front of all the other disgruntled customers who were also waiting long lengths of time for their order. Not good to see at all. Dirty restaurant, ignorant staff, food which made us ill.

Only person waiting to be served the guy didn't know what he was doing and spent more time asking me over and over again what I wanted had to get help in the end. Eventualy got our food but the wrap was clap cold and not in the nice packaging like last time. Last time ever will go to KFC at Morecambe servive and food rubbish and waste of money,the seagulls enjoyed it though !!

Absolutely disgraceful. My mate order us some food over 2 hours ago and it STILL hasn't arrived yet!! Nobody is picking up the phone either. Disgusted with them. Makes me wish the place would close down.

This has got to be the worst KFC ever. The tables are rarely cleaned, the floor is dirty and always slippery with grease. The ordering process is always slow and waiting for the food is even slower. The problem is this must be acceptable to KFC and their area managers as it's been like this for years and everyone thinks the same yet it never changes.

Kfc in its self is appalling but this one was alright. I have nothing wrong with places like mc Donald’s and that but when it comes to most KFC’s I feel like ripping my hair out one by one, this one was different, I and my friends had just come back from an extremely boring bowling day out so to make the day the slightest bit better We all decided to go to kfc. We went inside and I must admit the smell was rather revolting but we weren’t going to sit inside there anyway, I ordered a coke (as much as I hate coke I ordered it anyway because Everyone else did) and some chips along with some popcorn chicken. This was the only time I had ordered popcorn chicken and actually got it when I went to get the food. We waited quite a long time for our food but that was ok, when we finally got our food, the popcorn chicken was nice and so were the chips (I didn’t even drink the coke, I just threw it away when no one was looking).

Had KFC all over the world this shop is the worst,cold soggy chips,tasteless gravy,and dry chicken,never again.

Staff couldn’t care less, the women who seemed to be in charge had a disgusting attitude towards the delivery drivers and the other staff. The tables were dirty, the walls were dirty, the floors were dirty, the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Ordered two of the ‘wow’ boxes nothing wow about either of them. Everything was cold and flavourless, we were given two different sizes of chips (the smaller of which only had about 6 in it) and when I went to ask why this was the guy who was helping me tried to give me another large fries, to which the manager lady aggressively asked why he was giving me a large. The covid measures don’t look thought out at all, as if they’ve just been thrown together without any thought. Overall a massively disappointing and frankly disgusting KFC.

Much improved since last visit as I normally visit the lancaster branch as I previously had bad experience at this branch. I thought I give it another go since I was in the area and everything was fine

Only about 4 tables in use, others obviously closed off for social distancing, however the other side closed for cleaning but no one cleaning it despite it being busy! Can only get food 50% off if you can sit down, very clever way round it!

Ordered the meals on the devices as you enter KFC. No paper in the machine so no receipt. 80 piece popcorn bucket only 72 pieces 2 x gravies were there and the 4 piece boneless banquet was there but the 2 wings and chips meal were missing. Seemed to take forever for the food to arrive.What we got was OK Not worth going back into town for the missing items. Really this is a Joke KFC Morecambe

Visiting daughter at Lancaster University, popped in on the way to Aldi for supplies before our hotel stay. This branch is handily placed near supermarkets cinema and the seafront. The fayre is typical of the chain, staff friendly, restaurant and facilities clean.

I was given food poisoning by this place it had 2/3 people working non of them cleaned the tables the service was slow n they gave the wrong order they offered a bloody ridiculous solution 🤮Charlie

The speed of the service was fine but I received the wrong item. After getting home I found I was given the Zinger Tower as opposed to the original Zinger burger. I did not have time to go back and explain the situation. I avoid the Tower because I don't like how the extra ingredients mask the taste of the chicken. So I've paid around £5 for basically a small bag of chips and a drink. The incorrect item was also poorly presented with sauce around the edges of the burger, meaning it would be hard to pick up due to the bun sliding off. The front of house staff seemed friendly enough but the wrong item and other hardly glowing visits to Morecambe's KFC have prompted this review. Lancaster's KFC is superior in all aspects.

As soon as we entered we see the staff all talking and laughing which u don't have a problem with as the store was empty, but when we stand there for 5 minutes and still get ignored then I do have a problem ...when we finally get our food and go to get our seat was discussed to see how many dirty tables there were even though the shop was empty ...got time to chat and laugh got time to clean ...would rather drive to Lancaster to use the KFC there as so much better

This is the worse KFC I have ever visited no clean tables food and rubbish on the floor kids throwing food and spitting Under staffed The list goes on I will never visit again

Bizarrely situated in what looks like the walls of a castle makes this the only truly memorable point of this total!y inefficient restaurant. Having queued for 10 minutes, we found they have no sweetcorn, no regular Pepsi and we still had to wait 15 minutes to get our order.I was sort of hoping that having to wait meant it would.have been fresh and crispy but I guess I was asking too much. While it tastes fine, the skin was was falling off the chicken, the bread on the zinger was soggy and it just felt like a poor excuse with no effort to run this franchise.Must try harder.

Finished work late quickly checked internet to see if still open said til 11pm this was half 9 got there for 10 to 10 they said they are not surving and finshed work at 10! The two girls blamed everyone else they could think of! I wouldnt bother even going to morecambe kfc at all horrible service from girls horrible manners from girls!!!!!!

We were plaesed to find this when looking for something to eat. The welcome was friendly and our order taken. We wanted tea with our meals and the machine was broken but they mended it quickly. Food was fine - as I said, typical KFC.

Kyle was a very helpful and polite young man who helped me further enjoy my time at this establishment. I have no legs therefore Kyle wheeled me around to a suitable location to fill my needs. Good on you lad

No cleaning had to do myself it's discussing hygiene is Nil inside & out staff didn't want to no ask them twice and still no show then a mop bucket for me to.d myself

Waited approx 20 minutes before placing order. Wanted burger with cheese and bacon but told no bacon. No apology- just "no bacon". A further 10 minutes and the food actually arrived. Tables sticky and messy. Staff obviously not able to cope. Not friendly and seem to require some customer service training. Hate to think what it would be like at real peak time because we arrived at 1.45pm. Portions seemed very small for the chips, food just not true KFC flavour and failed to meet our expectations. Will never go back to this KFC. Last one we visited was Shanghai, China and they managed to get it just right!

Went in here on a Sunday for some hang over grub, arrived and placed our order to which we were told we couldn’t have a big daddy burger as no bacon, this was okay we were told the tower burger was the same just with no bacon so we opted for that. Our food took 20 minutes to make (reasonable it it’s cooked and hot) we took it home and realised we had been given standard zinger burgers which were tiny and there was no hash brown or cheese which we were told there would be, to make matters worse when I took a bite out of the burger it was cold and FULL OF HAIR. Waste of money, Lancaster is much nicer, better quality and better service.

We queued for half an hour after placing our order, people were complaining and staff looked fed up and scruffy. We (stupidly) chose the eat in option and the tables were dirty and sticky. No staff came to clean anything while we were there. We felt sorry for the front of house staff as they didn’t look at all surprised by the situation so I guess it’s the norm. One member of staff was profusely apologetic to staff about the wait, however our served Stephanie (?) just looked beyond fed up and barely uttered a word.

All the tables were sticky and it had only just opened at lunchtime when we arrived. The toilets were disgusting and smelt like they hadn’t been cleaned for a while. ‘Cleaning in progress’ signs up in the way everywhere when there had obviously been no cleaning carried out anywhere for a while. Strange layout, the main dining area was shoved to the side and quite dark and dingy. Definitely will not be returning.

Called today at 10:30pm 19/05/19 just to find it shut. Don’t know why there was no explanation. Very disappointing

Thought I would try a kfc in morecambe never been but guess what only half pass nine and said they were shut no chicken left even thought the doors are open. Read some reviews on line am glad I didn't get any.

Doubt we would of come if I had read the reviews first! After countless terrible KFC visits in stoke on Trent we didn’t expect much from kfc, however we were pleasantly surprised!! We ordered on the touch screen where I could access my app and browse the menu without feeling rushed. We ordered and paid then went to collection. After a short wait we got the correct order on a tray. The food was piping hot and delicious! All items present,correct, hot and generous portions. The gravy was perfection and hot! My wrap was stuffed with ingredients and nicely presented. I wish our local KFC would take some training sessions from your branch. We are visiting the area again in the year so will be defiantly grabbing decent kfc here.

My 5 year old son was hungry, we were in Morecambe for his birthday and he enjoys the KFC back home so we thought we’d treat him. It turned out not to be a treat for anyone! Let’s be clear, I wasn’t expecting the greatest of fayre. I was however hoping for edible food and decent service, neither of which were the case. First they got the order wrong, an incorrect drink and missing items. I ordered a mega bucket for one and the 2 pieces of original chicken were horrendous. One was smaller than anything I’d seen at KFC before and the other looked like it had been run over. I returned to the counter to request the missing items and raise that the chicken wasn’t great and the assistant went to the cooking area to discuss with the manager. They seemed to find my request for 2 pieces of chicken hilarious and were giggling away. When the assistant returned he advised that the chicken would be replaced and again started giggling. When packing up my food again he started giggling again, when he passed me my food I asked him if he could share the joke as it would be rather disconcerting for a customer who’d had to raise his food was unacceptable for the staff to be laughing repeatedly.

Staff need training. Order wrong,no chicken only coating in bun. Disgusting. Management need to check what food is being sent out. Wont be returning.

Tourist in Morecambe. Called in after train trip to Blackpool with young family. When we arrived there was a huge amount of people waiting and people saying don’t stay if you’re in a rush. When we got the food they’d closed the seating area (8pm) so we couldn’t eat it whilst hot and had to walk back to hotel. I’d specifically ordered a couple of extra chicken breasts and they’d given leg. Gravy was like gloop. Cold chips. Sort it out KFC. Bread on Zinger was stale or tasted like only just defrosted - not good at all

Sorry to write this review but we are very dissatisfied with the customer service with the restaurant today and I won’t be spending another penny in a kfc restaurant. The way my daughter was treated by the staff then the manger of the restaurant in Morecambe . A bunch of children was hanging about the restaurant roughly around 13 14 years old and asked my daughter to go to kfc to grab us all some lunch and obviously had to walk through the crowd of children . When she got to the front the queue the member of staff refused to serve my daughter and explained the reason why by saying she was with the group of youths outside my daughter tried to explain that she wasn’t with the group but the very rude member of staff just went to the manager my daughter explained that she want but the manager didn’t want to listen and removed my daughter. This is very disappointing to say the least because I’ve always had a pleasant experience at this restaurant

ordered a 14 piece chicken and got home in Lancaster and there was only 10 so not enough to go round last time they forgot the gravy and time before it was the popcorn chicken so its an ongoing thing. i can't recommend this place at all

My worst experience with KFC so far. We bought double bucket. Hot wings were not hot. They were slimy and disgusting instead. We've paid for tomato sauce and got BBQ instead. I've never experienced something like that before. Never coming back there.

Excellent food for a very reasonable price The queue was quite long and I thought it was going to take forever but I was pleasantly surprised I was only in the 10 mins from arriving to getting my food excellent service guys thank you

KFC's are great for anyone who loves eating chicken 🍗 the coating on the chicken is fabulous. These meals in a card case can be eaten in the car which makes them very convenient.

To say they weren't busy (We were second in the queue and there were only two tables occupied when we arrived) the restaurant was filthy. There were at least 6 tables covered in waste and the floor was covered in food. It took 25 minutes to get our food, and we had nearly finished eating by the time my friend who was next in the queue received their order.

Have used this KFC a few times before. But have never seen it as bad as today.

Went in to kfc Morecambe,to stand and wait 10 mins for our food when there was no one else waiting.The girl who served us didn’t have a clue what she was doing.The burger had manky lettuce on it,the bun had mold on and the chicken didn’t taste of anything.The so called portion of chips was not a full portion and the drink was only partially filled....This place needs looking at or shutting down

I decided to go for a little something to eat whilst I was in the prom with family, so we nipped into kfc and I can honestly say I will never go back! The place was disgusting it was so dirty the toilets were hurrendouse you could smell them whilst you was sat eating your food. And I’m not that fussy where I eat, but this is filthy.

I only eat chicken breast I ask for it and it's always a argument with staff I am a paying customer and should be able to get what I want not feel bad about getting it. I have been to other kentucky shops not a problem only in MORECAMBE its embarrassing

Long Waite 1 person serving 2 lads cleaning trays place dirty tables covered in rubbish only had black coffee or tea available food orders wrong for most of the customers in there food only just warm no napkins I will never go back there needs staff who want to work !

I have visited a few KFCs but this one is not one of the best ones. Staff are not friendly and food is good and missed items from order. They need to up their game for us to return.

Went here yesterday for lunch as we all love KFC but certainly not this time ! My fillet wrap was like a chunck of rubber and was inedible. There was one person taking orders then serving them up so the queue was massive. The bins were overflowing so people were piling rubbish on nearby tables or leaving it on the tables so people were sitting on dirty, rubbish strewn tables. The toilets were also disgusting, there were bits of chicken on the floor that looked like there'd been there a while ! Never again will we spend our money in there.

Visited at 6.30 pm. No cold drinks available only at all, coffee machine out of order, one person serving and queue out of the door. Totally farcical. The manager needs to seriously get a grip. Twenty minutes wait all in all. Never again.

A friend and I recently stopped off at this place for something to eat as it appeared to be one of the very few places in Morecambe actually open (and that was on an early saturday evening?)

arrived at kfc lunchtime to treat my dad to lunch went in ordered food then asked for teas/coffees to be told no hot drinks so asked for cold ones to be told only have water a top eatery and all they say is got nowt no sorry nowt 2 disabled people could even get wheelchair s in as no room rubbish

Went here with some of my family to get a takeaway. We waited and waited, then one of the staff looked at me and said"Have you not had your order yet?" Err NO, that's why I'm still standing here.I noticed that when the young girl was packing it, she only gave us half our order so I told her. She was very apologetic and I thought she had corrected it but when we got back to our holiday home, some of our order was still missing. The area you order the food is extremely small so there's lots of people standing around, waiting for their orders, vertually on top of each other. The food was nice though when we eventually got it.

Went in to stand and wait while a staff member finished talking to his girlfriend,to then order and be told there would be a wait as food needed making.i sat down and the tables were filthy and food all over the floor...it wasn’t busy,there was only me and one other customer in... kfc really needs to look at staff training a hygiene....won’t be going again

Nice clean place staff friendly, but not focussed enough! food cooked to order so pretty fresh but you have to wait about 10 mins in que then probably another 10 mins for food! We sat down realised they didn't gives us our bottle of tango! Then we eating our bucket of chicken realised no hot wings! So second time back to the counter so ruined our meal!

Just spent £60 on takeaway after waiting 30 minutes to get served the food order was half missing and what was there was freezing NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO HERE DISGRACEFULL

My husband and I went to the KFC at Morcambe whilst we were holidaying in the area. Right from the start we should have realised it wasn't going to be a good experience and left, but we were pushed for time and other choices in the area. There were numerous items not available, including children's meals, boneless items to name a few of a long list. We chose something to eat and then ordered the drinks! No cold drinks except an apple & blackcurrant juice. My husband had a coffee, and I picked the juice, the assistant said, sorry it's run out, so I said I'll have tea, no sorry no tea, so I asked for water, no no water! Goodness me, what do they wash up with. I noticed a customer had been out to buy his soft drinks from a shop to have with his dinner. The assistant offered me a free side order instead of my drink, which isn't helpful if your thirsty. Will not use again

Called there today and will never go back the place was filthy not one clean table staff were rude and had no hygiene knowledge what so ever picking up the cups with there fingers inside one member of staff actually wiped his nose while serving after waiting at the counter for 10 minutes for the staff to finish calling other staff in very colourful language and generally having a good gossip they noticed that there was customers waiting to be served when we finally got our food it was cold took it all back and asked for fresh hot food the member of staff serving me gutted and literally snatched the tray out of my hands and threw it on the counter round the back and then yelled at the staff so everyone could here to reheat my order so I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager absolutely disgusted I told hin that I asked for fresh food not reheated and asked for my money back he then proceeded to open the till counted out the 22.50 in as much change as possible and threw it all on the counter and floor by this time there was a big queue and my husband saw what he did the manager should thank his lucky stars that we had our grandchildren with us otherwise he would of dragged him over the counter and made him pick it all up funnily though when he saw my husband stand up and all the customers waiting called him for being out of order he then went back to the till and gave me a 20 pound note out of the till after all this happened myself and family walked out as well as the 8 customers who had been waiting certainly won't be going back there.

Once again mine and my wife's trip to KFC was amazing!!! Although she was the only person serving in a busy period, i was served promptly and she was incredibly polite while taking our order. She was completely on her own and handled it so well!!! She looks to be so young, but is a ray of sunshine in our dreary town. She deserves some recognition for staying so calm under the pressures of a hard job.

Not at all as bad as other reviews suggest. Was passing through Morecambe and decided to stop for KFC. The place was on a par with other fast food establishments and did not feel that it deserved some of the previous negative reviews - either that or we visited on a good day.

Just... not good. We have been to many other KFC's that offer half decent service and good food. Been to the Morecambe branch twice now, both times been kept waiting while larger parties get prioritised, and when food eventually comes, it was pitiful - clearly the smallest scraps of chicken left at the bottom of the pile. Complained via KFC website with no response. Avoid.

Dirty and greesy equipment, all needing a good clean. Go to lancaster instead, much better. If you eat in the tables have not been cleaned. Last time I was there they gave the wrong order to a customer. When they brought it back they tried to give it to someone else but they refused, the other customer had opened and touched the food.

As an occassional treat (and being no lovers of McDonalds) my wife and I visit Morecambe KFC about once a month. Every time we go, the wait for food is between 15 & 20mins - and this is when it's quite. The only good thing is that the food is hot and tastes good.

This is by far the worst KFC I have visited. Slow service and filthy seating area. I've noticed this place previously had a low food hygiene rating but is now rated at 5, how this is possible I don't know as it is filthy

Ordered a 14 piece party bucket, to be given the option to make my fries large for only a small fee. As this was the first time it has been offered to me i accepted, and was delighted to recieve mt order within 5 minutes of ordering. Would definitely start coming here more often with my family as it is good value and good quality food.

waited a long time to be served only one lad serving and three others just looking doing nothing. Finally got our meals (zinger meal) my wifes was raw, complained to one of the staff who said it was ok it was the seasoning that made it look raw. Place was filthy.Give the place a wide berth!

Myself and my friend went in for a krushem as it was warm and being pregnant at the time i really craved one! However when we asked 'Kyle' who was on the till he said it wasn't working however we knew different as we asked a member of staff 'Dom' if it was working as we didn't fancy standing in a line going right outside the shop! We waited for a good 30 mins just to be served a simple task but by the looks of things KFC employ simple staff who don't know their lefts from rights! Luckily 'Dom' stepped in and told 'Kyle' that all the machine needed was filing up! 'Kyle's attitude towards the public and 'Dom' was dreadful! There was also a number of staff stood around in the back not working as it seemed as they were having a laugh and a joke and they could clearly see it was getting busier and there was another member of staff needed on the other till! I will NOT be coming back to this terrible excuse of a fast food restaurant, I reckon monkeys could do a better job! Well done to 'Dom' for coping with the staff and situations in hand! He deserves a pay rise!

Nipped here for a quick tea. Stood 10mins whilst 1 plonker served and 3 more walked about without a care in the world. Paid my money, stood 10mins and then was told that there is not enough chicken and I will have to wait 25 minutes more. Waited 5 more minutes for the chief plonker to sort my refund out. I have all the respect in the world for people earning a living but this place is an utter joke. It is a miracle the place makes any money at all. Never ever again. It wouldn't let me give it zero stars so don't be fooled by the 2 stars.

Every time I have been here there is always a terribly long wait and often run out of things like KFC gravy.I've now found it quicker to drive to Lancaster where the service is superb.

We have a KFC at least once a month and always enjoy it ....Sometimes your waiting a long time to get it ...but usually 15 mins staff friendly

this place gives a whole new meaning to fast food they take your order and payment then you still wait for about 20 mins for your food tables always dirty avoid if possible

The service in this place is atrocious! Don't get me wrong, I didn't go in there expecting Michelin star or anything like that but neither did I expect to wait for nearly an hour for some 'fast' chicken and chips. Before you say it, I know I should've walked out but I had my daughter with me and she would've gone APE. The easiest way to describe it is that the staff in this place make the thick one out of that 'Essex' programme look like Professor Stephen Hawking, I use Professor Stephen Hawking as the example because he moves far quicker than the staff here. To be fair, 'Kyle' was pleasant enough and was really trying and I felt a bit sorry for him because 'David' clearly wasn't a giver of hoots and looked upon the customers as though they were Jimmy Saville. I personally felt about as welcome as a rattle snake in a lucky dip when I informed 'David' that I would be paying by card, it was at this point that 'David' looked at me like I was smoking a cigar whilst dressed in a shell suit with a lot of jingle jangle jewellery and decided to punish my impudence by serving a good half a dozen or so folk who had the cash that he wanted before me. So whilst myself and the other imposters sorry.. customers stood there catatonically waiting for 'Kyle' (who's pulling his tripe out now by the way) to process our order 'David' decided that he'd had quite enough of us plebs and disappeared into a worm hole (get it?) for about 15 minutes and left 'Kyle' clinging to the wreckage. A lady who may or may not live in a caravan and who's other half may or may not want to tarmac your drive eventually tore 'David' a new one and that was a highlight, so much so that this reaming combined with 'Kyles' efforts led me to award KFC Morecambe it's solitary 1 star out of 5. The chicken and chips were ok in the end...

Two words sums this review up and they encompass all areas of food and beverage at this establishment the words areDONT GO.

Floors dirty, slipped in spilt drinkTables grubby, chips served cold, raised this with server- replacements also cold. Gave up and binned them. No baby changing facility- whole place is a disgrace & should be shut down. Bad mistake to visit- wont be back

exelent food nice staff very clean highly recomended , well worth a visit if your in morecambe. served very quickly after order being taken piping hot food.

dont expect 3 drumsticks and 3 grey thighs in a 6 piece bucket :( not great at all really not even a wing with a bit of white meat :(

right across from the beach parking at the side of the market which you do have to pay for but most people like kfc

I arrived at the restaurant a little after 9pm, to be told they had completely run out of food, yet they were supposed to be open until 11pm. The guy serving was rude and obviously didn't like his job very much. That, or he had a seriously bad day. The place was dirty, and had food littered across the floor. Certainly won't be returning in a hurry

My friend and I was in the area shopping and found this eat in restaurant near the front promenade was beautifully positioned to eat in .. We was greeted at the door by a member of staff who informed us that we was welcome to enter but unfortunately ther was NO CHICKEN !! I actually thought he was joking until he confirmed that he had Quote: Had it in the neck since his shift started from customers: that NO there was NO chicken available ... Clearly it would of saved face for this restaurant to close for the day or call it a chip shop as clearly that's all they had left. Genuinely shocked.

the two stars that i will not give KFC is it isn't very clean and the food goes cold very quickly! other than that the food is a big treat for my mouth and my stomach! i wouldn't recommend a takeaway because it might go very cold! the gravy is very nice even if its cold so are the zinger wings!

KFC visits I find can be quite awkward, not sure why but think maybe the menu not as easy as McDonald's for example. Decided to go simple, 2 Zinger meals and extra chips, no issues, quickly supplied, salt and wipes without asking, food hot even after travelling back to b and b, top marks!!
