Called in for dinner, really enjoyed it and the service was very good

Well worth a visit and I would highly recommend the steak pie.

We relly enjoy the Paletine under the new management. It's a beautiful, very clean space. With honest and delicious food. We had the sea food plater, it was fresh and light, highly recomended. The selection of drinks is great as well. Lovely atmosphere and faboulous service, plus the bay views. You cant miss it.

He estado aquí un par de veces ahora como el servicio y la comida es siempre muy bueno. Estaba un poco decepcionado antes, ya que el servicio era deficiente. Tuve que levantarme un par de veces y pedir vinagre... no se puede comer pescado con papas fritas sin vinagre. Entonces decidí que me gustaría un poco de mayo, pero pensé que en lugar de levantarme de nuevo esperaré hasta que alguien venga y compruebe que todo está bien como lo haría normalmente. La chica se registró en la mesa de atrás, pero se fue sin preguntarnos, así que cortésmente pregunté. Inicialmente había comprado la salsa de curry, pero era muy dulce y en absoluto como la salsa de curry. Un poco decepcionado, ya que solo había 1 otra mesa de 2 en la habitación. Si hubiera estado ocupado lo habría entendido. Fuimos al bar a pagar y le expliqué sobre la salsa a la que dijo que haría que el gerente retirara la cuenta. Personalmente creo que siempre es agradable que te pregunten si estás disfrutando de tu comida y si todo está bien. Lo que habría sido una buena oportunidad para mencionar la salsa en lugar de en la caja. No puedo culpar al pescado con patatas fritas a través de £ 16. 20

Awful experience at The Ship. Under new management and a new menu, we thought we’d give it a try and wish we hadn’t bothered. Large group of men at the bar were incredibly loud, argumentative and using foul language. Not something I want around my children. A woman was openly vaping at the bar and not challenged by staff. It appeared that these are regular drinkers at this pub which would explain the lack of families eating out here. A worker poured one man a drink of something and said, ‘here, try this…’ and did not charge him??? Food was below standard and expensive for what you got. My husband ordered chicken and chorizo and literally got 3 pieces of chorizo on a tiny chicken breast and a teaspoon of sauce. I’d specified my son has a dairy allergy at the booking but this was not even mentioned by the staff. We left as soon as we’d eaten. A real shame because we have eaten here previously before it was taken over and it was lovely. The vibe of this place is totally wrong for the ‘family pub’ it claims to be.

We often visit for the breakfast deal, it’s so affordable, the staff are lovely and it’s dog friendly. Would highly recommend for snacks, meals, and best of all cake deals

Puedo estar aquí con mi nieta de 3 años. Le pedí una comida para niños, 4 nuggets veganos, unas 10 papas fritas y una pequeña cantidad de frijoles. 00 . ! ! Asqueroso. ! Luego tuve que pedir una bebida que no venía con comida, un pequeño cartón de jugo de manzana, y £ 2 extra. 00 . ! ! 8 libras en total, y la señora mayor detrás del mostrador, muy grosera. Park es hermoso café es trabajo que una estación de servicio de autopista. ¡Nunca más! Por cierto, el plato de la foto es del tamaño de un platillo de té.

Esta es siempre nuestra primera parada cuando visite Lancaster - la más cálida de las bienvenidas y una gran elección de cerveza 🍻 sirvió perfectamente!

Omg amazing. Looked for"after work" treat before heading home, short listed 4 places, but this menu stood out from the rest! Never been before. Certainly wasn't disappointed, beautiful building, met by lovely manager Joseph such a great character and helpful. Squid was outstanding, what a plate full, wow, followed by main menu pork belly......luscious, lip smacking tasty food, not to forget the divine tasty gravy!! Friend had the mushroom and said tasty and enjoyable followed by the mahoosive steak pie 🥧 what a size, but she thoroughly tucked in and enjoyed. Treated ourselves to mini pudding and coffee at the end as we deserved it!! ☕️ 🧁 would most definitely return!! 🍽 🍷 🍺 thankyou and compliments to the chef!!

Not bad actually for a little lunchtime snack. Pleasant staff and quick to the table.

Awful.. went for lunch with a client who I support and we sat upstairs and all we could hear is the kitchen staff swearing and shouting and using horrible language, and due to the echo in the upper floor this was throughout the restaurant so I’m unsure why management did not pull them up on this, was awful. Came for a relaxing lunch and got this.. Not to mention the state of the food, plastic; tasteless and disgusting.

Very disappointed with the trip. A woman called Tracy ruined it for me with her behaviour towards her colleagues. She was having a go at one guy, who was working hard and the way he was dealing with us was great. I don't know if it was because he is black. But her behaviour is unacceptable. I have been on this train before and its not the first time she has done it. She shouldn't even be working on the train behaving like that.
