We went here recently for a quick meal out. In the day’s before the fire, this place used to be one of our favourite places to eat, but sadly no more. Food now is OK, but it used to be absolutely amazing. I get a feeling it no longer independently owned. Saying that, it shouldn’t made a difference. Hopefully they can get that old standard back.

Been here many times but will not be returning.Arrived to be told no reservation though it was plainly on phone.Begrugingly taken to table.Asked to order drinks, then told it was bring your own ,no such sign and two months previously had ordered in house.Sulen service and a starter that consisted of four small button mushrooms garnished with tired salad.Mains supposedley a Jalfrezzy.no sign of ant tomatoe and the supposed lambe resembled a tyre.. Great shame used to be a top spot but will not be troubling them again

This was for 2 graduation celebrations,we had never been before and it had beautiful surroundings. We all looked at menu and 6of is decided fish and chips but we're then told they were out of this.3 people then decided on £8.95 for 1fish cake and £5 chips, which was bland and disappointing except the tartare sauce. My husband had a hamburger and chips, which had no salad or vegetables but was ok,my daughter wasn't well but had a bland and pale soup. One person had chilli flatbread which was nice and enjoyed. The deserts were ok but not worth £8. There was 6 1/2 meals and 4 puddings at £165,service was good and often asked did we want any thing else.We will not be back as not impressed.

Top notch food. Great service. Lovely location. We've eaten in all the local places and this is the best by far. Well recommended!

With a big party of 15, the staff were fantastic with everything. Mimmo went out of his way to ensure it was a fun & memorable evening. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and how traditional the small restaurant is, very reasonably priced.I’d definitely recommend Etnas for an enjoyable evening, thankyou!

Oh my goodness, do not eat here! We visited for lunch on the vintage by the sea weekend we knew it would be busy but oh my goodness we ordered pizza which couldn’t be eaten as it was mainly grease and very cheap cheese! Bacon sandwich, and a toastie. my toastie look like it hadn’t been anywhere near a heating element let alone a toasting machine! Was very cheap but so was the quality! and the serving staff seem to have left their manners at home. I won’t be bothering again even though I visit Morecambe very regularly. Left disappointed and still hungry.

What happened? First visited 2008 half way through silverdale walk and it was excellent. Today only four items on menu...Bacon or Sausage Bap, mushrooms on toast or soup only to be told by pleasant enough girls behind counter that there was no food as "chef" off probably until school starts as he was looking after his kids...do you need a 'chef' to do a bacon butty? We settled for a cheese scone and a traditional jam scone which were good....but not what we would have ordered if we had not been hungry (I had previously ascertained that the cafe was open so we could call in for lunch on this particular day before we started the walk!). The girls would have been better looking after the kids........... Whilst we were sat with our coffees, numerous (no exaggeration) members of public came in for something to eat and only one small party stayed, the others went in search of an alternative venue. I think a packed picnic is the way forward for us and will only re-visit if we are desperate for a drink or the toilet! Disappointed is an understatement!

We ate here on a very busy Saturday evening due to Lancaster Music Festival. The service was a little slow to start but then was excellent. The food was delicious. Freshly cooked, very tasty and piping hot. Very reasonably priced. A modern restaurant with a nice atmosphere.

Super friendly welcome, all staff we met were very welcoming and friendly. We stopped for3 nights , our room was modern, comfortable and clean . We ate breakfast which was substantial and delicious, the evening menu was varied with specials daily. Our last day we had afternoon tea it was outstanding. Thanks to everyone 🤗

I wrote a long review for this then decided it wasn't worth it. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, after 10 or so minutes I was told there was no ham so settled for a cheese sandwich only. At no point was I offered a refund for the dish I'd ordered (you have to pay in advance). Be aware that they just want your money

Staff are incredibly rude and unprofessional. I asked for a straw and got it thrown on the counter. I asked for extra vanilla when I was ordering, but the girl at the till did not charge for it which isn’t my fault, I asked for 2 extra pumps and was given major attitude by one of the girl (red-maroon hair), saying you know the standard is 3 and I already gave you 7 right? I asked for 2 extra pumps of vanilla as I prefer sweet coffee, which she eventually did with attitude and was not happy to give me any even though I was happy to pay for extra.
