Una delicia encontrar el Etna Ristorante. Primera vez en Lancaster. Gran servicio y buen menú. La comida no decepcionó. Sin duda volveré.

Gran pequeño restaurante familiar, hecho para sentirse como en casa inmediatamente. El propietario y el personal hacen todo lo posible para que te sientas bienvenido. Comida delicioso vino excelente 🥰

La segunda vez que hemos estado en el Etna mientras visitaba Lancaster y fue tan bueno como la primera vez. Es un encantador italiano a la antigua, escondido en una calle trasera de la calle principal y el propietario siempre parece estar allí para darle la bienvenida. Esta vez tuvimos un par de pizzas y nuestro hijo tuvo spag bol. Las pizzas eran excepcionales y el tamaño es el correcto, ya que algunos lugares tienden a hacer que sean demasiado grandes para comer de una sola vez. Fuimos temprano ( 17:00 ) y a las 18:00 el lugar estaba lleno, lo que siempre es una buena señal y realmente aumenta el ambiente también. El personal es muy amable y el servicio se relaja sin ser lento. Quizás soy parcial, pero siempre prefiero los lugares independientes sobre los restaurantes de cadena anónima y el Etna es definitivamente uno de mis italianos favoritos.

Visité con mi novio para mi 21 cumpleaños en la calle y el ambiente era encantador! Mi novio dijo que era la mejor pizza que ha tomado y mi pasta estaba deliciosa. Los manteles y velas realmente se añadieron al ambiente italiano y los precios eran muy razonables. El personal era muy amable y nuestra comida era muy rápida y caliente. Con una gran fiesta de 15 , el personal era fantástico con todo. Mimmo hizo todo lo posible para asegurar que fuera una velada divertida y memorable. Era una bolsa mixta. El personal comenzó muy bien, atento y muy servicial, pero a medida que el restaurante se llenó quedó claro que era ligeramente abrumador para todos ellos. Los entrantes fueron sacados bien, pero esperamos mucho tiempo por nuestros platos principales que fueron ordenados al mismo tiempo que los entrantes. Los titulares fueron geniales, pero los platos principales fueron muy golpeados y fallados. La mitad del grupo dijo que sus platos principales eran deliciosos y la otra mitad dijo que eran sosos y secos. No podía poner el dedo en la llaga en lo que estaba mal con mi pasta. La pasta estaba bastante sosa, y creo que eso fue porque la salsa que estaba con ella no tenía suficiente cuerpo para recubrir la pasta lo suficiente. Era bastante aguado y carecía de profundidad que cabría esperar de una verdadera salsa de tomate italiana. Al parecer, era la pasta la que era la basura, ya que las otras personas también se quejaron de la pasta. Las pizzas eran bastante buenas aparentemente. Hemos estado antes y fue excelente, no estoy seguro de lo que estaba mal, pero fue tan decepcionante. Es un establecimiento pequeño y estaba sofocante por dentro y las mesas estaban muy juntas, lo que lo hacía muy ruidoso, ya que la gente competía entre sí. Finalmente fue una decepción.

Along with my wife, our two granddaughters and two of their friends, we had lunch at this great wee restaurant. That was four from Scotland, one from Northern Ireland and one from USA. We had a fabulous lunch. Marvellous, authentic, beautifully cooked, genuine Italian food. The owner makes it a memorable experience and, such is the atmosphere there are moments you could be in Italy. We were visiting Lancaster for the day and lunch at this restaurant made it a day to remember. Thanks so much.

Love this place. Real food and genuine hospitality. They have been here for years, are always happy to see you. The food is always fresh and cooked well accompanied by a decent wine list and knowledgeable staff. I applaud the owner for having a small restaurant stand the test of time.

A fantastic evening at Etna’s Restaurant for friends 30th Birthday. We were greeted like royalty and the staff were absolutely excellent! Food as always was superb, predictably I had the stuffed sardines and then the spare ribs. We have been eating here for over 35 years and the menu is great and the standard of the food is consistent quality ! All served with a smile it’s a highly recommended restaurant!

This place has been here years and there is a reason . They run this place properly !!! The food is great , the ambience and decor great and the staff just give that extra oomph. Came here for my sons 6th birthday as he loves pasta . The owner is superb made him laugh giggle , pulled lollys out of ears . We really want to say thankyou food was fab . We will be back.

We had a meal here last Sunday. It’s a family restaurant that has been there a long time. Although It was fairly quiet, (it was Sunday in February,) we still had a fantastic meal. Lovely food and wine and would 100% recommend.

I never usually do reviews but after our visit this evening it definitely deserved one. I attended with my family including my 1 year old son. The owner was amazing with my son and made us feel so welcome which you don’t usually get in many places! We were just going to give him some of our meal but the owner took his dish away and brought him back some pasta and bolognese. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our meals were all delicious and it was a lovely little quiet restaurant the waiter was very attentive we would definitely recommend it and would visit again. Thankyou x

The service immaculate and very friendly and the food was Devine I have never had a bad dish from here the owner mimo is a lovely gentlemen and adds to the experience and culture of and ambiance of the room very cultured and authentic and traditional Italian dishes and would come back all the time

We found Etna by accident, whilst looking for somewhere to eat on the way to the theatre. Even though it was in between Christmas and New Year, damp and miserable, the place was packed by 5.30 pm. I haven’t been in a traditional Italian like this for years, simple unpretentiousness menu, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The food was lovely - spaghetti marinara, pizza and bolognaise, with portions just right and not expensive either. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back when in Lancaster.

Called in for lunch and had a Pizza Pescatore which was excellent. I always like coming here for lunch when I visit Lancaster. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent

Just gets better and better each time we visit. Saturday evening, around 6pm and the restaurant was busy. We’d no reservation but we were managed to be placed for a table immediately. Food again was truly exceptional and the service friendly and exemplary. Our favourite restaurant in the area bar none.

The food was once again excellent and the service was top notch, unfortunately for us there was a party of 9 who were rude to the waiter (a smart young man, polite and attentive) One of the party was swearing and being obnoxious towards the staff and was soon put in his place by the owner (the waiter was his son). Professionally handled by Mimmo….don’t mess with the family 😎👍

We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary and we chose Etna. From the start, I feel we were taken advantage of with my father being elderly, he asked for the recommendation from the owner. Of course they offered up the fillet which by chance was the most expensive. I chose the monkfish and when it arrived over 30 minutes later, the fish was translucent, like it was defrosted. It was chewy and tasteless. We did get that meal taken off the bill and was offered a complimentary drink but just didn’t like the vibe and wanted to leave. Unfortunately, we all left with my parents 50th wedding anniversary ruined because of the experience. We will not be returning, which is disappointing for a place that has been there for so long.

Fab food, great atmosphere and attentive staff. Cannot fault the Etna restaurant for an authentic Italian night out. We were a table of 7 and we had a mixture of starters and main courses. All food arrived promptly and they were all delicious .

We've done half a dozen restaurants since lock down lifted and this was by far the best. Quite busy for a Wednesday but fitted us in after a short wait in the pub. No elbow room, very cramped as if fitting as many people in as possible and therefore very noisy. Not an exciting menu with less than average portions.
