The best restaurants in Hyndburn North West

I booked with my mum and bridesmaids to have a meal together the night before my wedding. Instead of a nice relaxing meal, we were mostly forgotten about. After taking our order, the food took a while to come (so we'd finished our drinks) and bits were missing, we'd hoped to order some more, but trying to get anyone's attention or service was really hard. We eventually got the missed food, but they didn't take a drinks order. 2 of our group ordered some ice cream, which then didn't come and was only after asking for the 3rd time did it arrive. By this point, most of the group were tired and it had put a real dampner on what should of been a really lovely evening with my closest friends and mum. The ice creams were taking off the bill after asking if I could be given a complaints form but it wasn't about the cost.

Just before we arrived at costa we went to Greggs to buy a sousage roll for doughter. Once we walked in to Costa Missus stayed in queue while i went to toilet and daughter took a seat. We did not plan to stay at costa but just imagine that some women who work at costa approched my 7 year old daughter and said to her, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EAT GREGGS IN HERE, SORRY. Sousage roll was just on table unpacked, she was just waiting for me and missus. Just imagine, 7 YEAR OLD KID. Instead of talking to her parents, woman decided to challenge a 7 year old girl.

We had an amazing meal at this pub and thoroughly enjoyed the early bird menu—it was fantastic value for money and easily worth much more. I genuinely couldn’t fault a thing; it was the best pub meal I’ve had in a long time! The starters were excellent, offering a great variety from traditional favorites to something a little different. The mains were just as impressive, with classic dishes done to perfection—particularly the cheese and onion pie and the gammon chop. The atmosphere, stunning views, and friendly, attentive staff made the experience even better. I highly recommend trying this place—you won’t be disappointed!

Just had Francescos for the first time! Why we haven't been sooner I do not know! Absolutely Amazing! Tasted like being back in Rome! If you've not tried this place Do IT! Bloody lovely xx

Been a few times lately and it's been great. Lovely environment inside and friendly, quick service. Had to wait a while for first roast dinner but they give you notice on the menu that it won't be quick. The next time our starters were extremely generous & delicious and arrived quickly, with a well-needed rest before the roast and delicious pudding- wouldn't fault it. The next time was great too- please do the millionaire shortbread cheesecake again! The only thing was I couldn't seem to add enough salt to the fish, chips and mushy peas! The mushy peas had no seasoning at all so that would be my tip!

Well this place is defo the best. It was recommended by a friend and well worth the travel. food is amazing good potion size to .we been looking for a good Chinese and well we definitely found it . Salt and pepper 🌶 king prawns a must try .😋

The food is good value for mone, The kebabs are not greasy, staff are very friendly

Ordered food for delivery, one cheese pizza with garlic sauce one pasta and one chicken burger the food over an hour to arrive when It did arrive the pizza had no Garlic sauce and was so cold It was not able to be eaten, the pasta had basically no sauce on and was cold, the chicken burger was okay but they didn’t specify that the cheese they use Is cheese sauce and not cheese slices In the burger, overall everything was terrible and cold and we will not to coming here again!!

Been 3 times now. No cakes to speak of and that was at 10.30am! Only good thing is the coffee. Customer service was poor. Sorry!

Came in today and the food was lovely, the stake and ale pie was one of the best ive had in my life, complements to the chef danny and bethany. I was served by Connor and Kate at the bar the pint was perfectly poured and the food was lovely and hot. Great kids events on during the holidays too would recommend to all agaes

We enjoyed a friendly atmosphere and efficient service. The food was delicious and we were made to feel very welcome, we would definitely return.

Was late. And delivered a mushroom pizza instead of a garlic bread. Had to wait another 20 mins for the garlic bread to turn up while the rest of the food went cold. No apology or offer to remake the order g
