Green Olive Deli & Bisteo in Hyndburn

Been 3 times now. No cakes to speak of and that was at 10.30am! Only good thing is the coffee. Customer service was poor. Sorry!

Visited with a friend for a Friday lunch. Waitress didn’t bring menus despite it not being busy.. had to ask. Both had salads which we decent but not outstanding. Plenty of salmon and prawns but had ask for sauce as only a drizzle on.. main gripe was the cafe was quite chilly. Had put my coat on.. not ideal. Wouldn’t rush back I’m afraid.

My friend has been recommending here to everyone so we thought we’d go for lunch x as me we weren’t disappointed - the food was prepared to order and beautifully presented! Very friendly service in comfortable surroundings - home made pie and posh fish fingers - an excellent meeting place in the town.

Food was not cheap but was very tasty. The monosyllabic waitress took our order and service was pretty prompt. I had the hot steak sandwich with onion and roast tomato which was delicious. Good salad garnish and home made coleslaw with it. The daily special of chicken burger and chips we thought was expensive at £11.95! My husband had the soup and sandwich. The roast pepper soup was fresh and lovely. The sandwich needed a bit of garnish. Overall a very good experience.

lovely ambiance, attentive,friendly and accommodating staff. The food and coffee were exceptionally good and the smells coming from the kitchen were divine. Is now a regular stop for coffee,snacks and lunch. I for one will support you as much as possible during this new lockdown and buy takeaway and still be a regular as soon as you can reopen.

3 of us went for my birthday treat nice warm and cosy good choice of menu and drinks brilliant food and service up for another visit November if allowed
