The best restaurants in Mersey Halton North West

I've had a few orders from here before and have always enjoyed them I also left a great review 5 months ago . Not sure if there is a new chef now or the cost of living crisis is having an impact but not the same I was shocked at what I got , infact I didn't even eat it Such a shame as its refreshing to have different choices especially in a small town in runcorn but I won't be ordering again . My friend group has also experienced the same loved it then the last delivery gross

Nice pub friendly staff good atmosphere slightly small.

I went in and bought a sausage roll and a pasty, both items were very cold and tasted like they had been sat there for hours so they both went in the bin. This was at around lunch time on a Sunday afternoon. At no point was I told or warned they were cold, so I could choose to not buy them or pick something else. I did call customer service and complained and they gave me a 5 pound voucher for the money that I had wasted.

Nice takeaway. Good food. Big step at the front, so wheelchair and stick users will need someone to get their food.

Really great service ! Take away .. delivered in great time on a Saturday night . Accurate and especially happy with my vindaloo , usually when I order I get a milder curry but this hit the spot spice and heat wise !

Love the Toasties, Sandwiches, Cakes and Best of all the Pot of Tea. Staff friendly too.

Lovely will deffo b ordering again

I ordered the mixed grill and the food was awful, I asked for my steak for medium rear, it came as medium to well done and it was so pale I thought it had been boiled, so they took my steak and got me a new one only to be cooked just like the first one, the only thing on the plate that was OK was the chips and egg, all the meat on my plate was tasteless, I'm sure all the meats are frozen, and defrosted in the microwave. We would never go again it was the worst place we have ever eaten at

Needs someone on counter that understands what you are saying because if you have allergies this is not good as I know

Please go back to your old sausage roll recipe, the new one is tasteless soggy meat. Been going here since I was a kid, I guess it's time for Greggs. Old review: Love going here, it's my guilty pleasure! :) Really friendly staff, never had any issues and lots of great goodies to choose from. Avoid the vegetation sausage rolls at all costs though, they are nothing like Greggs. Tastes like wet cardboard in your mouth. Zero seasoning. What are they thinking 😂

A very enjoyable evening. Had not been there for over 20 years but was not disappointed. Staff could not do enough for us. We could have eaten our meal again and again

Had to send my food back as it was cold. Card machine wasn't working and I wasn't informed until after I ordered. I would have had something else however the performance was due to start. Not enough staff for a busy cafe. Not impressed.

Ordered a sandwich which came completely wrong, the driver was wonderful and took it back to get it changed, he brought another order, I opened it and yet again it was completely wrong, tried to call the place and no answer
