Costa Coffee Drive Thru Runcorn in Halton

I used the drive through to get my ginger latte and the young lady was so nice sharp and efficient and very pleasant top marks to the team there always happy to deliver a high standard of service well done

Nice coffee, service is fast. Much nicer than Starbucks

this costa has an awful atmosphere, most staff are rude and act like they don’t want to be there most of the time. Tables are left not cleared for ages, cups are dirty and not cleaned properly. Overall experience disappointing, wouldn’t go back again!

Fed up with requesting coffee frap with fresh cream & being given vegan whip instead! I requested it at the speaker, reminded them twice at the window and still was given vegan whip but they topped it with fresh cream Vegan whip is vile & i have an allergy to it! Get a grip costa.

2 cups of frappe arrived completely dissolved, they tasted like water with syrup, I didn't get straws, and the mocha wasn't very warm and tasty, everything tasted much worse than the one bought on site at the cafe

Delivery lady was lovely. Costa was disappointing, coffee and panini was cold. Toastie never arrived as it was sold out, I’m assuming I’ll get refunded for that?

Poor customer service and poor coffee, I've been going to different Costas for years and the person tried to disagree that the coffee i was served was poor. Won't be attending Runcorn again

Love the Toasties, Sandwiches, Cakes and Best of all the Pot of Tea. Staff friendly too.

Poor service waited at the till for 20minutes prioritised the drive through more than sitting in people and the tables were filthy, no one cleared up drinks and it was a Sunday where there was 3 tables taken by customers lazy ass staff. Also out of date crisips , flies were swarming the cakes absolutely disgusting needs a visit from trading standards. Food dry and Terry's chocolate drink was nice but not as advertised on the photo with toppings just cream. Bad costa never returning.

Staff are always friendly, been here a few times, I do feel that the tables are not cleaned all the time and need to keep on top of cleaning them as there is always rubbish left on them,bins outside are always full.

Drive through - I got the coffee quickly and from a polite member of staff. Can't argue with that.

I ordered a maple hazel frappe with oat milk and maple Hazel hot chocolate. but I got 2 hot chocolate instead of the frappe so was abit disappointed.

I just wanted to ask you to thank the driver I had a fit after I ordered and came around when he delivered and he had so much patience after me watching the ring camera j noticed how little sense I made but he helped me through the process to get my stuff and kept me safe so again please my you pass the note to the delivery driver that I say thankyou so much for your patience and putting up with me not making clear sense thankyou

Always a friendly place staff are fabulous can park the truck next to it . Unfortunately no gluten or dairy free food / snacks . Just got coffee.

The staff are lovely but it’s rotten. Flies always sitting on the food because they don’t have proper cabinets for the cakes to be kept in, to serve those to people is just disgusting. It’s been like that for as long as I can remember it’s such a simple fix but clearly whoever is in charge is to damn lazy to fix this. There’s also an issue of the bins literally NEVER being emptied. Always overflowing all over the place. And also the tables are always without fail dirty as well. But the flies are the major issue. Everything else about it is fine but good god can the managers or whoever is in charge get a grip and sort it out.

Went to costa today and as usual I received great service, I was served by Laura R who is always very professional and friendly, makes a difference to see such great customer service these days, well done

They tried to use my card!!! They have it from a payment I did months ago. Glad it was only an authorisation, not a charge (thanks to my app) But I had to delete my card. Check your staff! This is serious! How can they know my card number and try to use it without my consent? Or in case if it's someone else, check your payments security! The authorisation done is with the company's name... I'm not even in the UK now...I recommend everyone to pay by cash here.

Flies everywhere, going on the food. The place stinks of baby sick and rotten milk as soon as you walk in there. This smell has been apparent the last 3 times. I don't know why people put up with it.. horrible

Could be lot better but very under staffed food not cheap but the staff that are there at the moment are sound wish there was more room inside for wheelchairs when me and mate come up we have to sit out side

Seriously unimpressed with this place! Used to go to the Widnes Costa all the time and never had any issues, but every time I order from Costa Runcorn, and despite requesting (and paying for!) a shot of vanilla in my drink, I never seem to receive it! I gave up and started going to the Starbucks across the road instead, but it was shut a few days ago, so I gave this Costa one more try. I even covered myself by requesting (and paying for!) TWO shots of vanilla, but surprise surprise, there isn’t a hint of vanilla to be found in my iced latte! Never again.

You need to sort out your website according to the order site there’s been no whole milk for months for Cappuccinos but today there was no whole milk for lattes to but then on the Forrest walk cite apparently lattes weren’t available but cappuccinos were 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

We usually use the drive through. Staff are lovely and drinks are always good.

A bit of constructive criticism - Don't have things on the menu if they're out of stock.

Overpriced. They didn't offer us to choose the size which directly went to buy a huge coffee, not sure of what size it was. The cappuccino didn't have the cocoa on top and nobody even offered, so l got up and poured it myself. There was an open pot with mash mallow next to it and l assumed they were free since it was open right there where you get the sugars, etc. A young blond girl on the bar said I was not allowed to take them. She didn't say it very kindly. Then the other attendant came to our table to ask for money for the 2 small marsh mallows, ridiculous. Will not come back.

Everything was cold I did put a complaint in when I ordered it, there was also an item missing which I have been refunded for, but no refund for the lateness and all the cold items, the coffee, hot chocolate and food was all freezing.

Order arrived 2 and a half hours after placing the order. Food was cold hot drink was cold, restaurant had obviously prepared the order and just left it sitting there!! Very bad service 😒

Shocking. I didn't know it was so hard to give someone exactly what they order. Instead receive someone else's order, so that's 2 lots of orders that didn't get what they wanted. Absolutely shocking.

Yet again, there were items missing from our order. This is the 3rd time. Won't be ordering again.

We ordered 2 toasties, 2 drinks, and 2 sweet items. One sweet item didn't arrive, one of the toasties was almost cold, and the other wasn't exactly hot, and the speciality coffee didn't come with the topping as stated. I think the deliveries should come in sealed bags so that they don't get cold. They were just in open paper bags and had no seals/stickers on the food packaging, so they could be easily tampered with. When I first ordered, it said it would arrive at 09:40 and then quickly changed to after 10am - quite a while to wait. I don't think I'd order again. Almost £30. I've submitted for a partial refund for the missing and cold items, but even that is uncertain and says it will be reviewed. Not great.

It’s about time you addressed the issue of whole milk not being available at Runcorn drive through on the order if you go down there whole milk is always available but it still says it’s not available when ordering through the App.

This Costa discriminates against disabled people. I went through the drive through on my road worthy mobility trike and was refused service. I was told their insurance didn't cover me. I have my own insurance which covers me for accidents and so forth and there were no other cars present. I was absolutely appauled by there blarzay attitude.

Cakes weren’t delivered that I ordered. Receipt says out of stock. Can I be refunded please !?

Exactly what other reviews say… no syrup in drink just tasted like hot milk. Waited for ages at drive thru. Been on previous occasions and experienced exactly the same. They really struggle to make nice drinks here and any bespoke requests are refused .

The order was incomplete, I didn't receive a chocolate twist pastry.

Poor service waited an absolute age at the drive through. Ordered a caramel latte which was poor no caramel in it and the coffee tasted of nothing. I poured it away. Won’t be returning

Thank you to the gorgeous girl tonight on making my daughter very happy, we arrived in the drive thru super close to closing and she made us a lovely hot chocolate and a surprise side of marshmallows to go with it all served with a smile! Even went the extra mile to explain about the Costa app how it works ect.

Nice new chairs and sofas were installed recently and the place looks brighter and smarter. Staff overworked and yet smiling and nice.

Ordered a Kit Kat mocha. Received a normal mocha, without the Kit Kat topping and Kit Kat Easter bunny, so the increase on price is a rip off, because it’s just a normal mocha

Lovely bacon rolls as ever. And the Spiced Apple tea was perfect.

Placed an order for food and drinks delivery. Drinks arrived, but the food didn't. I raised it, and they issued a partial refund for the food they didn't provide and failed to respond after I queried why the refund didn't cover the missing items.

Friendly staff, good coffee, the few times I've been it's always clean and tidy.

Large queues due to coffee machine fault, the building needs blinds on the windows, very bright sunshine at midday made it uncomfortable to sit and enjoy lunch, no other seats were available.

Ordered Terry's chocolate orange hot chocolate and came without the Terry's chocolate orange piece so it was just a normal hot chocolate

I would like to request a refund for my drinks - they arrived cold, we waiting over a hour for them, 2 drinks got tipped away as they tasted weird, an the hot chocolate was like it was warmed in the microwave the milk had skin on it

Coffee hit and miss sometimes it's been good but the last twice it was poor, maybe old milk but coffee definitely did not taste good

Missing like half my food, "toblerone infused hot chocolate" was a hot chocolate with a small toblerone melted on top of the lid. Annoying and messy.

I didn’t get my croissant There was chocolate dust on my cappuccino when I asked for none.

Convenient location with parking or drive-through, good coffee, shame they got my order wrong and ruined my daughter's hot chocolate.
