The best pub in Runcorn, everybody including the staff are very welcoming

I come here with my client on Mondays and Fridays and staff are amazing and helpful and always happy to get you that special beverage that you may need to quench the thirst the staff are great

Mostly a pub for going to watch football

A very welcoming well established pub with a very friendly atmosphere both from staff and fellow customers

We go here to play darts, All friendly and pleasant experience. Would recommend to anyone that fancies a nice pint 👍

Worst service ever. Considering pubs are shutting down, no urgency. Sat there for 15 mins even though they saw us sat there. Other better pubs to drink in. Avoid!

Now under new management very clicky and full of Chinese whispers cheapest pint in Runcorn Monday to Friday but sadly its not the place it once was closing for refurb but it's an old horse under a new coat not the quiet family environment

Drank here for many years. With its recent make over which looks fantastic and the change of ownership makes for a very prosperous future. Fantastic local in Runcorn with loads of entertainment come the weekend. The prices are excellent and now with the facility to accept card payments makes it even better. Defiantly worth a look

Barbour staff extremely rude.... whilst I was thinking about what to have because I was driving, was told to make my mind up.... was only about 10 seconds.

Sometimes go to the Saturday club with family,enjoy the entertainment on Saturday nights,staff very friendly and the Sunday lunches are lovely

Went here last night to celebrate New Year as we go regularly and always have a great time. It was advertised as a 1am bar. The bar shut at 23.45 so everyone could let the NY in including the bar staff but on returning the bar remained shut. When the Landlord was asked about when he was opening again he shrugged his Shoulders and said don't know if we are which as you can imagine angered a lot of people. But then selecting certain people to serve was bang out of order and when asked shrugging your Shoulders and not giving a damn was wrong on many levels. You may have turned the pub around in your first year but good Managers don't treat Customers in this manner especially your regulars as you might have been extremely busy last night but holidays have gone now and it's them regulars that have kept you going this last 12 months.
