So I was very hesitant to use this chippy as I heard that it’s gone down hill the last few years and apparently the food can be very hit or miss and delivery’s can take much longer than they state. However after ordering some salt and pepper chicken pieces which where pretty alright with lots of garlic chili onion and peppers, I also had soft noodles which I used to absolutely love where a winner would recommend for any noodle lover, the egg fried rice was brilliant and I had a side bbq sauce which was pretty damn delicious. And they arrived half an hour before the stated time slot so very happy about that the portions where generous. I’d recommend this place.

Went to Lees yesterday lunchtime .service with a smile nothing too much trouble .food arrived absolutly delicious with great size portions . A place to definitely go and I'm sure intending that . They are my favourite 💯 .

3 hours for delivery when told it would be 1 hour!! Ridiculous

Ordered from Kaylee's for Christmas Eve, as dinner went completely wrong, but I'm beyond shocked with how amazing the food was! It's absolutely delicious! the delivery driver was lovely too. The portion sizes are huge! 100% worth the money. We were given 8 free veg spring rolls and a bag of prawncrackers, which made our day! Thank you so much!

Waste of time- open and close when they want

Thought I'd found a decent, reliable place until they delivered a meal which is still making me feel ill. The ribs were old, dry and tasteless. Why serve something that's been lying around for days too long? Avoid.

Salt and pepper ribs are the best i’ve eaten so far, fish batter was crispy. definitely coming again!

Very large portions of pretty awful food. Chicken balls were undercooked as were the chips. Ordered plane noodles as a side, came in some spicy inedible sauce.

Absolute appalling, ordered and it was confirmed by email. Called 90 minutes later and they said they didn't receive order,even though they recognised the when I gave them reference. I told them that I wasn't happy with service and I asked for a discount. They told me no,I had to pay full amount. Won't be ordering from the thos tax dodgers again

We had a banquet for 2, yes there was a wait, well worth it! Beautiful food! Melt in the mouth beef in black bean, chicken curry divine! Lots of meat. Prawn toast.... amazing!... enough for 4!.... 10/10

Ordered online and got a confirmation for the order. After waiting an hour and a half, called up and they didn't have my order. The staff member who answered the phone was rude and didn't seem to care. I then cancelled. I will not use this restaurant again now.

Love the Chinese food here and their BBQ sauce is bussin 👌🏻 but the chips have been pale, soggy and far too oily every time I order from here. What happened? This used to be the best chippy in Runcorn but you can't be a good chippy if you send out chips like that. Would order from here again but will avoid the chips next time and I'd advise other customers to do the same, unless you like indigestion and lots of greese

One bag of fish and chips. The chips were great, but the fish was barely cooked, under the batter it was a white sloppy mess. I had the throw the fish away. I can't go back there after that.

Utterly rude member of staff on the phone, never again will I use this service again. Never have I been spoken to like this. Work on the staffs manners

Called in earlier. Singapore Vermicelli was not spicy mostly noodles hardly any meats, portion of chips was not even a half portion , won't be making a return visit. Once a great take away but from tonight's experience I won't be back. No option for a Zero stat so feel generous giving one

Ordered crispy chilli beef and rice as it’s the only thing I order every time. Tasted no beef was pure batter and was powdery with every bite wasn’t nice. Rang to raise the concern and got told I’ve never tried that dish before and I don’t know what it should be like. Awful customer service and was rude on the phone have been a regular customer here and will no longer be returning.

Gotta be some of the best food I've ever experienced.

Usually the mixed cashew nut dish is packed with meats and cashew nuts. Don't know who was cooking tonight but it was poor...hardly any meat or nuts and very runny.

Absolutely gutted they have changed the curry sauce recipe, been going here since I was a child and even drive 50 plus miles just for this curry but last visit was devestated to find the curry has changed

The food was nice but I really think prawn curry and rice for £9.40 is a bit much Update I thought I'd give the place another chance ordered my fave chicken wings. Hardly any seasoning on and not very tasty.

Placed an order, 90 minutes to deliver! Arrived late, meals were cold. I had to heat them up in the microwave. New packaging, meal was squashed so much it was coming out when I opened it.

Got sirloin stake dinner had bad stomach for 2 days after meal

Used to be the best chippy in Runcorn. Sadly not anymore. Has been my families go to for years however the last 3 times it was terrible. Hair in the food the price and slight tummy upsets. The end was when I got my fave bbq spare ribs and the sauce was a water flavourless light coloured liquid. The ribs used to have a thick red tasty sauce that stained your fingers for days! All that and not alot for high prices. Time to move on to another chippy Langy road it is gor us now. Shame.

Microwaved Chow Mein. Ordered Chicken Chow Mein at 2240. They went to the kitchen and brought it straight out and then straight into the microwave in front of me. Refused to accept the order and walked out. Used to use them all the time. Not anymore.

If I could give -5 stars I would I have just rang to get some food after looking on their menu and I wanted a noodle box as stated on their menu! And the man tried to argu with me on the phone about what I wanted telling me no I wanted something different he was very rude and abrupt in the end I told him I’d go els where and he put the phone down on me! Very rude no manners and a waste of time trying to order bad customer service

Used to like the food here, but a change in prices seems to have come with a change in chefs? The food hasn't been as good lately

Decent chippy in Runcorn, best I’ve been to so far.

Food better than the service. Made an order to collect and still waited 20 mins. Had our food sat there going cold whilst they chatted to and served other customers.

K.Lee is probably up there one of the best takeaways in Runcorn. A long established business providing the best food, has a great food standard .

Very disappointed ordered a £70 order had the cheek to ring us up and say there will be another 1 pound delivery charge even though they charged us top delivery charge the food came was only given free prawn crackers so we did not have free spring rolls whole experience with this food place was a total shambles do not use this Chinese people go elsewhere food was also cold avd they did not even pick up the phone when we rang 4 times very disappointed ☹️☹️

Normally food is great. Wait times are always ridiculous, phone an order in and they always tell you 20 minutes. The longest I have had to wait is 45 minutes. Last night we ordered 2 meals and 2 soups. My soup had a shard of metal at the bottom of the container. I only realised when it reacted with a tooth filling. The shard looked like a splinter off a tin can.

Cash only is a real pain.. get with the times.. prob a tax thing .. they must be better than the rest of us..

Chicken spring rolls I would avoid they were soggy and had a very weird taste to them not like they used to be also chicken fried rice I found to be very fatty and tasted very oily the nicest thing about the meal was the chips very disappointing as this place used to be nice I won't be going again

It's a chippy/Chinese, I would not recommend ordering on their site as our banquet took over 2 hours to be delivered and on the chippy side they forgot to put my fish in but the food is very good. Gets busy during tea time.

Fantastic takeaway and amazing food we love this place as the portions are really substantial you really do get value for money. Also the online ordering is so simplistic.

Best salt and pepper chicken around, -1 star as a little pricey

Absolutely vile, burnt duck, over fried chips, tasteless rice, prawn crackers taste of old old oil threw most of it in the bin. The only thing fresh was the cucumber and spring onion. Been going down hill for ages.

I would've gone here every time a few years ago but these days it's really not the best chippy anymore.

The cooker broke right on tea time, went to k.lees ordered sausage dinner, curried chicken and asked for a vegetable spring roll when I got home and set it out my wife (a vegetarian) said whats this, there was about 12 tiny spring rolls with about a quarter (if that) of a teaspoon of veg in each one the rest was just batter I tasted some of the curried chicken the texture was like jelly it was awful, the curry was fine and no complaints from the sausage dinner... Won't be going there again.

We purchased the fish whoch was warmed up from lunch time we will never go to klee again.

Crispy chilli beef avoid at all costs it ain’t beef it’s just batter no meat at all. The salt and peppered chips are just tossed in a favouring with some small onions and peppers. Soggy chips. Meals start at £7 through to over £9 extra for fried rice My order was Crispy chilly beef with Fried rice Portion of salt and peppered chips 1 Ltr of 7up £15 😤 I have a lot of work colleges I will be telling this used to be a great Chippy going down hill. And with no star rating I should have know better. Clean your act up or go out of business

Moved out of runcorn 25 years ago and still make the 45 minute drive for the fishcakes ☺ never found a chippy as good as this one .

Great meals, never had a bad one

Spring rolls and chips were good. But I ordered sweet and sour chicken and that was a joke. Got given a box of chicken and some sweet and sour sauce separate with barely anything in it. This is not how you do sweet & sour. 100% wouldn’t have that again.

Not even worth one star. Absolutely terrible for someone who orders from this chippy multiple times a week I won’t be ordering again. Not only to get food like this the other day, Blue chicken ( shown in photo) but to then to give them the benefit of the doubt I order again. to leave me to wait over An hour for an order that was pre called for collection. After waiting I told them I no longer wanted to wait for the food and to leave the order after it being so long already for the people working there to be abusive shouting saying I have to pay anyway. Terrible service and attitude do not recommend.

Ordered online at 18:35, was told an hour maximum for delivery. 20:30, and we were still waiting. Rang them 7 times in total over the space of an hour chasing up the driver who left with it at 19:30. It turned up and it was cold. Sweet & sour chicken was really chewy. Salt & pepper chicken was soggy, rice was cold and the chips were cold only ended up paying half price, due to quality of food, and delay in delivery. Won’t be ordering again, which is a shame, as they’re usually really decent in there.
