The best restaurants in Copeland North West

La comida es excepcional. No es un gran menú, pero todo muy bien preparado y realmente preparado a pedido. El chef es dedicado y competente. El servicio es rápido y profesional pero muy amable. El desayuno también es una buena comida para comenzar el día en los lagos. Los precios son muy justos.

I had just came back from the desert after 40 days and 40 nights and was starving!I heard that this place served gourmet food. I pulled up outside the restaurant in my Ford Focus and stepped through the door and was horrified to see a man there, I was expecting see mrs Pizza but mr pizza was there. I politely asked to meet mrs pizza but was told she didn’t exist.I took a minute to catch my breath and recollect my thoughts.“When did she die?” I asked“No, no she didn’t die she’s just the name of the shop” I called the man a liar and ran out of the shop in tears.I returned 21 days later and asked for the lamb option and got given a donner kebab, tasted like sh¡t, although the price was good and in memory of mrs Pizza I’ll give it 5 stars

Shockingly bad.£5 something for pie peas and gravy to go and the dogs wouldn’t even eat it. The pie was tasteless and had a thick layer of undercooked pastry, the peas were like bullets and the gravy was just coloured water. They must have worked really hard to get that as bad as it is. I dread to think what the other food is like if they can’t even make this.

Es un sábado por la mañana y llega el invierno. Decidimos que tendríamos un bollo y una taza de té y esto estaba a la vuelta de la esquina y tenía una calificación de 5 aquí. Al entrar era obvio debido a la temperatura en la que se mantenía el abrigo. El menú tanto en el interior como para llevar es amplio y tiene un precio razonable. También es una galería de arte y una tienda de artesanía. Ambos tomamos té con bollos, mantequilla, mermelada y crema. El té llegó sin tetera. Solo una bolsita de té en una taza de agua. La jarra de leche vino por separado. Ahora lo que habrían sido dos grandes tazas de té en el frío se echó a perder por las papas fritas en ambas tazas. No chips menores, sino chips grandes. Un rato después llegaron los bollos. Normalmente todo viene por separado. No aquí llegó ya con mantequilla, crema y mermelada. Una última cosa fue que el miembro del personal acaba de sacar los bollos del recipiente con los dedos.

Want to be able to give it more stars :/ Nice to have a chip shop in such a small village. Easy to find, nice young woman behind the counter. As she was cooking the fish, I thought - hmm- should be now.... or now... or now. Well, so probably was, so a bit overcooked. Chips were good (glad I saw her salt/vinegar an order or 2 before mine so I could say 'no, thank you' to waaaay too much salt. Got an order of cold slaw. Ok - was a serving of mayo with some cabbage in it. Hope they consider some adjustments! Then would recommend.

A fantastic place to stay if you want to be near Scarfell Pike. We stayed in the Eal Tarn. Such great value for money. The place has everything you need with beautiful sunset views. The staff in the bar can’t do enough for you, all very friendly. The food is very good. Lovely atmosphere. Can’t fault this place at all, a really nice hidden gem

Really annoyed as spent about £40 for two meals and one was only a wrap. The past two times my order has come wrong. Ringing up the guy sounds like he’s doing YOU a favour. Didn’t correct it either time. Said he’d bring missing items and just didn’t bother. That’s it, no more benefit of the doubt. Will never order from here again!

I ordered a meal for me, my Mum and Dad a few weeks ago, food was brilliant, I also got some Loaded Fries it was new on the menu, I also love the Donna Cal zone they make that is to die for. they both were fantastic loved them my taste buds were saying Wow, the food from the Chattanooga is Excellent and i just love there food.

Came in at 5.50. Place was very quiet. Ordered a burger and a chicken pie. Cost approximately £25. Burger was totally tasteless no seasoning. Chicken pie was slightly better. Not sure why they serve the food on plates so large as you can see looks like something is missing. Yes I did move the food so you can see how small the portions are. I had a refillable diet drink from the self service machine. The drink was flat and the syrup was most definitely low as tasted like sweet flat brown water. the In all honestly you get better tasting and better value for money in weatherspoons. Won’t be returning. The staff were very friendly though which is a bonus to the place.

Coffees were great service was great friendly and chatty without intruding on your own space 10/10 just for Amy 😀

First time visit first class all round quality

Ordered via the app as staying nearby, app stated 45mins delivery time ( acceptable). 45mins came and went ( app showing still cooking) phoned up to be told very busy! Another 30mins… Only 1 delivery driver! Eventually got a message food was on its way! Driver met at gate and she phoned as she was approaching 🙌 Poor girl was rushed off her feet and very apologetic. Pizzas were very salty, toppings sparse and extra toppings we paid for almost non existent! Very disappointing!

Awful experience a few times I won't be Back rest of the reviews makes sense now
