Frizington Chippy in Copeland

Fantastic pint of guinness, really clean lines. Cheerful staff and a great atmosphere

Was a resident for three nights in the first week of January '25. Excellent time throughout though quiet at this time of year, which is to be expected. Nice public bar area especially by the roaring fire. Lots of snow overnight Saturday (4th) so a white wonderland to awaken to in the morning; you can't beat that in these surroundings! Decided on an evening meal for the final night, fish & chips and it was 'delish' as they say. Will definitely be going back again at this time of year when time permits.

A fantastic place to stay if you want to be near Scarfell Pike. We stayed in the Eal Tarn. Such great value for money. The place has everything you need with beautiful sunset views. The staff in the bar can’t do enough for you, all very friendly. The food is very good. Lovely atmosphere. Can’t fault this place at all, a really nice hidden gem

Fantastic customer service we didn’t book yet the staff made an effort to fit us in a family of 5 when they were really busy food was delicious and and cooked to perfection would recommend to anyone wanting to eat fantastic food in a friendly environment we nothing is too much trouble thank you 😊
