The best restaurants in Harbour Copeland North West

I had just came back from the desert after 40 days and 40 nights and was starving!I heard that this place served gourmet food. I pulled up outside the restaurant in my Ford Focus and stepped through the door and was horrified to see a man there, I was expecting see mrs Pizza but mr pizza was there. I politely asked to meet mrs pizza but was told she didn’t exist.I took a minute to catch my breath and recollect my thoughts.“When did she die?” I asked“No, no she didn’t die she’s just the name of the shop” I called the man a liar and ran out of the shop in tears.I returned 21 days later and asked for the lamb option and got given a donner kebab, tasted like sh¡t, although the price was good and in memory of mrs Pizza I’ll give it 5 stars

Amazing food and fantastic service, we popped in here after a walk in the coast path, it’s tucked away around the corner off the main harbour. The staff were fantastic and the food was amazing. Highly recommend

Lovely time at this place got some chicne nuggest for my niece who can’t walk and a Pepsi max it were very yum I do think you should av a soft play upstairs for the young uns as it looks incredibly boring up there Other than that very good and yummy food I will have to tell my good mate drew peacock to try this place out himself

the pizza is absolutely michelin star food and theres so many good food but drinks cost a bit much and its uneccesary

Really annoyed as spent about £40 for two meals and one was only a wrap. The past two times my order has come wrong. Ringing up the guy sounds like he’s doing YOU a favour. Didn’t correct it either time. Said he’d bring missing items and just didn’t bother. That’s it, no more benefit of the doubt. Will never order from here again!

I would like to thank the staff for their assistance when ordering to save us money & delivery to the twisted tongue, food was hot & delivered bang on time, many thanks.

Service slow even when there's no one waiting to be served. Some having to wait as staff mopping the floor. Staff in a hurry to tidy up. Half seating area blocked off, despite the other half being full with over 1.5hrs of opening time to go. Other areas mopped as people leave. Toilet not accessible to customers for up to an hour before closing due to early cleaning again and the excuse is use of strong chemicals. Toasties unavailable for heating over 3/4hr before closing as staff have turned off the warmer. No cakes available from approx 4.30 as they have been put away, the excuse is limited staff and time. Over all not left feeling welcome to go in for anything never mind to sit in.

Honestly their pizza is the best I've had in the West Lakes, generous toppings, very little wait, and top service.

I had an awful experience at Marmaris Takeaway, and I strongly advise against ordering from them. I ordered three mixed kebabs, but before placing the order, I noticed only two portions available on the shelf. I specifically asked if they had enough meat. At first, one staff member honestly admitted they didn’t. But then another employee came over, whispered something, and suddenly they decided they could fulfill the order. After waiting 10 minutes, they handed us three boxes, which we assumed contained what we paid for. However, once we got home, we realized that they had blatantly deceived us—there were only two mixed kebabs, and the third box was just doner meat, which we don’t even eat. When we called to clarify, they disconnected the call and refused to answer after that. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. To make matters worse, they are misleading customers by using the name of a well-known takeaway located 4 miles away. We mistakenly thought they were a franchise of that restaurant, but they are absolutely not. This place is a scam dishonest, unreliable, and untrustworthy. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. 0/10. Never again.

Used to love Ali taj, was the first curry I had ever tasted 40 years ago when he was over the road above the citizens advice, it was the best, unfortunately isn't a patch on what it used to be and getting very expensive, before Xmas our go to take away was £24, last night it was £27.85 and absolutely below standard. Not telling anyone to avoid but we won't go back which is such a shame, sad in this day and age that profit comes before quality which was never the case when Ali was in charge.

Hi, ordered a takeaway for the first time from here at 7pm. Was told it would be 90 minutes. At 8.45 rang to ask where it was, told it would be 9.30 latest. A no show, will not try again, appalling service

I'm not from the area but when I'm visiting, I often make a bee-line for this place as a treat. It's quite pricey and portions aren't huge but the chips are possibly the best I've ever had. Delicious again on a recent visit. Great stuff.
