Holly is great, drinks are great, vibes are great.

Friendly staff, good for watching sport. Good pool table.

Service was excellent, food was delicious too. A real gem of a find in Whitehaven. You won’t be disappointed by the quantity and quality of the food and the puddings are delicious too.

Lovely time at this place got some chicne nuggest for my niece who can’t walk and a Pepsi max it were very yum I do think you should av a soft play upstairs for the young uns as it looks incredibly boring up there Other than that very good and yummy food I will have to tell my good mate drew peacock to try this place out himself

the pizza is absolutely michelin star food and theres so many good food but drinks cost a bit much and its uneccesary

I had just came back from the desert after 40 days and 40 nights and was starving!I heard that this place served gourmet food. I pulled up outside the restaurant in my Ford Focus and stepped through the door and was horrified to see a man there, I was expecting see mrs Pizza but mr pizza was there. I politely asked to meet mrs pizza but was told she didn’t exist.I took a minute to catch my breath and recollect my thoughts.“When did she die?” I asked“No, no she didn’t die she’s just the name of the shop” I called the man a liar and ran out of the shop in tears.I returned 21 days later and asked for the lamb option and got given a donner kebab, tasted like sh¡t, although the price was good and in memory of mrs Pizza I’ll give it 5 stars

Great takeaway as always. We ordered the delivery before a huge drop of snow so for our food to arrive was nothing short of a miracle. We rang back to say it would be impossible to get to our address but they said it was on its way. As always the driver goes the extra mile and more. Walked from the main roads to deliver to everyone he could reach fantastic effort. Well done marra, can't believe you made it👏

It was nice enough, comfy. I wish the tables were cleared a bit faster but then I guess having more staff on would help with that.

Awful experience a few times I won't be Back rest of the reviews makes sense now

I ordered three portions of mixed kebabs but received two and a portion of doner meat instead. When I called to address it, they denied the mistake and later ignored my follow-up call. Unacceptable behaviour and I won’t be returning or recommending this place.

I'm not from the area but when I'm visiting, I often make a bee-line for this place as a treat. It's quite pricey and portions aren't huge but the chips are possibly the best I've ever had. Delicious again on a recent visit. Great stuff.

Consistent food as always but if it's busy expect a 20m wait.

Used to love Ali taj, was the first curry I had ever tasted 40 years ago when he was over the road above the citizens advice, it was the best, unfortunately isn't a patch on what it used to be and getting very expensive, before Xmas our go to take away was £24, last night it was £27.85 and absolutely below standard. Not telling anyone to avoid but we won't go back which is such a shame, sad in this day and age that profit comes before quality which was never the case when Ali was in charge.
