Marmaris Takeaway in Copeland

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I initially ordered two portions of mixed kebabs (each containing chicken, lamb, and kofta kebabs) and then asked to increase it to three. The person taking my order initially said they didn’t have enough kebabs for three portions. I noticed there were only two skewers of kofta kebabs on the shelf, so I was curious about how they would fulfill my order. After discussing it with his colleagues, he suddenly agreed to give me three portions. When I got home, I discovered they had only given me two portions of mixed kebabs and one portion of doner meat instead. It was clear they knowingly shortchanged me. When I called them back to address the issue, they insisted they had given me three proper portions. Unfortunately, my phone died during the call, and when I immediately tried calling back from another number, they refused to pick up—further proving they had deliberately tricked me. This kind of dishonesty is unacceptable. If they didn’t have enough kebabs, they should have just told me instead of misleading me and giving me something I didn’t order. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values honesty and good service.

I ordered three portions of mixed kebabs but received two and a portion of doner meat instead. When I called to address it, they denied the mistake and later ignored my follow-up call. Unacceptable behaviour and I won’t be returning or recommending this place.

I had an awful experience at Marmaris Takeaway, and I strongly advise against ordering from them. I ordered three mixed kebabs, but before placing the order, I noticed only two portions available on the shelf. I specifically asked if they had enough meat. At first, one staff member honestly admitted they didn’t. But then another employee came over, whispered something, and suddenly they decided they could fulfill the order. After waiting 10 minutes, they handed us three boxes, which we assumed contained what we paid for. However, once we got home, we realized that they had blatantly deceived us—there were only two mixed kebabs, and the third box was just doner meat, which we don’t even eat. When we called to clarify, they disconnected the call and refused to answer after that. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. To make matters worse, they are misleading customers by using the name of a well-known takeaway located 4 miles away. We mistakenly thought they were a franchise of that restaurant, but they are absolutely not. This place is a scam dishonest, unreliable, and untrustworthy. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. 0/10. Never again.

Was ok but won't be in a rush to go back. I ordered a shawarma kebab. For the best part of a tenna I was very disappointed with how small the portion was, but it tasted nice.

Cold food twice took food back in told was not cold and to take up with food hub even tho paid cash. Threw food back at us. Use to think this was best takeaway in Whitehaven ill today shockign behaviour from staff could of gave up a hot meal rather than throwing it back at us and saying take up with food hub

First time ordering and wasn't impressed. Missing items and didn't realise until we got home. Small portion size, chips were soggy, Kebab meat was dry, chilly source was tasteless. Customer service was OK, and the missing items were delivered farely quick after a phone call.

Have to say i got a chicken and doner wrap it was tiny any the taste was awful....like a burnt taste....wont be going back....also staff are so miserable....get your act together

Tasty food, service with a smile from a speedy driver, chips container so full there's dents in the bottom. Pizza is hot and tasty.

never again..two pizzas and small Donna two dips..£36 . the Donna meat is very low quality and the pizza base was tasteless...once was the best pizza in town...twice now very disappointed

2nd Saturday in a row got my order wrong, also paid for but didn't get portion of chips, back to charcoal grill i think

Went there ordered chicken doner and lamb doner with chips and 2 chilli dips person didn’t understand and asked jack what I meant paid got home ended up with 2 garlic dips phoned said I had ordered 2 chilli dips was called a lier down the phone so said I would take it back great customer service not

In my opinion it is definatley the best pizza place in town and the kebabs are great especially the lamb kofta. Get it in a wrap though. Takeaway pitta should be band. ..pointless

Guys I can tell you , this is the best kebab in uk for 7 years. I studied aboard in St bees school from 2012 to 2016, after it i move to other city of uk. Now i hv back to my own country and i still fking miss it !!!!!!!!! So many good memories with their kebab !!!!!!!!!
