The best restaurants in Cheshire West and Chester North West

Haven’t been here in a while, but visited Sunday with my sister. Things have most certainly improved, staff were great. Mike was a lovely host and a good laugh.

Great site located in heart of Chester. Lunch menu starts at £7 Inc drink. Ideal to meet friends, stop for a coffee, party your night away. Something for everyone.

We had an amazing meal last week here. The food was delicious but what made it special were the staff. Tom was extremely engaging and helpful and clearly knew the menu inside out. He recommended the best wine for our food and answered all our questions. It was so refreshing to see someone take the time to really care about their customers. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Tom - we’ll definitely be back for your other recommendations.

I am so sad this resturannt is permantley closed. It was the most homely place and the family who ran it were amazing. Food was always delicious too. Wish you all the luck in the world. Irene and my Late Mum Audrey.

Nice place to have a pint, but the smell inside are terrible

Great service and atmosphere although when live music is playing, it can tend to be a bit too loud.

Absolutely lovely. Had the Pathia which was stunning - hotish, not stupidly hot so that you can't taste anything, and the Badami which which exceptionally thick, maybe a little too much so, but very flavoursome! Thank you!

Often visit with family and friends but not a good reception from the bar man, usually a good pub to catch up with local friends. We left without buying a drink, I got the bar tenders name from other people present as they agreed he was rood, he goes by the name of Alex. Would like to visit again if staff were more polite.

Have used the Golden flower for a while and the food is always good.However the service tonight has been awful. Don't tell me my order will be 20 mins then I'm still sat there 35 minutes later while a number of other people order after me but get there order before I do. I will never use them again.

Really great traditional pub with pool table and outside beer garden. Not too expensive either. The locals are all friendly. And the owners are the nicest people I have met. Look out for events like 80s night and karaoke.
