The best restaurants in Tarvin and Kelsall Cheshire West and Chester North West

Had a lovely lunch sat outside today - one of the best toasties I've ever had and a great coffee - staff super nice - 100% recommended.

I was driving on my way to Conwy and needed a comfort break and some lunch. What a lovely welcome I had ........ just genuine, not put on. The pub wasn't stylish (more old fashioned in a good way) but very comfortable. I had a fish finger baguette as they didn't have any sandwiches that I liked. Wow ........... !! It was so nicely presented and the side salad was all fresh and delicious. Chips too which I wasn't expecting. To be honest I couldn't manage all of it as there was such a lot. Excellent value that couldn't be beat!!

Wow! My friend regularly goes to Cornichon and her family always choose it as their go-to place to celebrate a birthday, and after having visited last weekend I can see why! I was so impressed with the menu/choice, the staff were great, and the food was outstanding! Good quality, beautifully presented, decent portion sizes and prices really reasonable! My friend was even able to order a take out portion of Mac & cheese to take back for her son. Had such a great girls lunch here. Couldn’t fault a thing and will be back soon :-)

Great coffee shop/cafe. Breakfast rolls were incredible and the coffee excellent. Big selection of hot drinks, although had I seen the London Fog on the menu I would have had it! Some of the drinks displayed on the TV showing what I assume to be the menu were missing, including the dirty chai.

We visited Cornichon for the first time for my husband’s birthday breakfast. We both really enjoyed the small breakfast, and the coffee was great. Staff were so friendly, the decor was fab and we’re looking forward to visiting next time.

This was our third visit to Okells, and again, we were not disappointed. Even though it was quite busy, we found a table pretty quickly and then placed our order. The coffees came quite quickly, but the food order was a tad slow. However, the staff were busy rushing around and about, so I suppose that's just the way it goes sometimes. When the food arrived, we weren't disappointed, and we enjoyed 2 decent portions of quiche with salad and coleslaw. Only one small niggle..... the coleslaw was a bit salty for our taste. And if we have to be really picky, we would preferred our coffees after our meals. Maybe I should have told the staff of our preference?? Nevertheless, we enjoyed our meals and we'll be back again in a few months. Oh, and one more thing to mention....... most of the staff were very friendly, and helped us when we had questions to ask.

What a fantastic find. A friendly local pub with a very warm welcome. Super games area. Live music. They obviously work very hard at getting people through the door as lots of adverts for future events. Would definitely visit again if in the are.

Willington Hall is lovely place to visit for the weekend. This place is quiet and romantic. Good restaurant and welcoming staff . Tons of character and lovely gardens. This place is so peaceful. Highly recommend.

Not the cheapest or the best but a good breakfast and right next to a motorcycle accessory store. Who could ask for more. Just wish both were closer to home.

I've heard so much about the lounge and kitchen I decided to try it out , so myself and a friend opted for a couple of panni's.. wow ,panni, chips and a beautiful salad... so Lisa the owner, and the two girls Nia and qoife you will be seeing us again and thank you for a superb lunch..

Went for lunch with a dozen friends. Great menu, delicious food and great service. Will definitely be popping back again as have added it to our list of nice places to dine at

It's a really old style proper pub! Loads of style, good food, good beer too! Great staff, too. It felt like pubs used to feel like, a warm, friendly place to go and relax in.

Came here to try the Xmas lunch menu. The table was dressed with crackers and it was a Festive atmosphere we had starters, very traditional choices soup and prawn cocktail which were tasty, But the beef dinner was disappointing, with a bland mostly beige plate of roast and mashed potatoes, over cooked sprouts, chewy beef and oversized overcooked yorkshire pudding it was pretty disappointing. Sorry!

Hosted a large family gathering at Delamere. Lovely walk rounded off with gathering at the cafe. Drinks, food and hospitality wonderful. Whole team great but would like to highlight Nicoleta and Faith who were exceptionally helpful and made the whole party work so well. Thank you.

Hi there, we attended a Diamond Wedding Anniversary party and very much enjoyed the food, atmosphere, venue and the gardens. Thanks very much to all the staff who were very helpful, and to the catering staff.
