I was driving on my way to Conwy and needed a comfort break and some lunch. What a lovely welcome I had ........ just genuine, not put on. The pub wasn't stylish (more old fashioned in a good way) but very comfortable. I had a fish finger baguette as they didn't have any sandwiches that I liked. Wow ........... !! It was so nicely presented and the side salad was all fresh and delicious. Chips too which I wasn't expecting. To be honest I couldn't manage all of it as there was such a lot. Excellent value that couldn't be beat!!

Lovely pub. It was very clean and comfortable and the welcome was good. We ate lunch and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had scampi and chips. It was a generous portion that I was unable to finish. It was dog friendly too!

We decided to venture off site for our dinner whilst staying at the amazing Willington Hall Hotel. The nearest pub was The Bulls Head, and after checking they had a table, we headed in their direction. It turned out to be a very good decision, as the staff were lovely, hugely welcoming, and the food was delicious as well as being very reasonably priced. Well worth checking out if you are in the area!

I've been a regular at Garden Social since it opened three years ago. From day one it has been a friendly, community space serving the best coffee in Chester, delicious brunch/lunch and cake options. The owners and the whole team are just awesome, and they play great tunes. Garden Social is kid friendly, dog friendly, solo folk friendly, LGBT+ friendly, everyone friendly, and also supports local artists, makers, musicians and comedians, in their small but impactful and well curated programme of home grown events. Thanks GS, you're the heart of the Garden Quarter Chester ♥️.

Originally we had booked somewhere close to a venue we were attending. However on arrival the accommodation was not as expected and we needed to find somewhere else to stay. We contacted 32 Torporley and spoke to Ben who sorted us out with a room. On arrival Ben couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel and our room was amazing with everything we needed. The complementary snacks and cereals were a nice touch. All the staff we met were very friendly. We were unable to sample the restaurant food as we were attending a concert however we will definitely return in the near future. Highly recommended 5*

Amazing. Lovely tea room. Attentive staff who supplied endless tea! Sandwiches and scones delicious. Upstairs too with items for sale and other bits and bobs. Couldn't manage the stairs to look but will do so next time. Absolutely loved my 1st AT experience.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at Six one six. The food was very good and good value! Great atmosphere, it was a bonus having live music. The service was excellent and Matthew was very welcoming and is very passionate about his business. It sounds like there’s lots to enjoy for all coming up at Six one Six! We’ll be back to try more of the menu and the events on offer!
