I called the store today to order a pizza for my elderly grandad and explained that he is hard of hearing so could they call me to inform him when they will be there. The guy that answered the phone said he would take it himself as it's literally around the corner and call me when he's leaving - which I thought was really nice of him. I have had food from here a few weeks back and stood waiting whilst they prepared it and they really are nice guys 😄. Food is delicious and well worth the money can't rate this takeaway enough I'd give 10 stars if I could ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. If you read this, thank you 😊

Cash only here but some real deals to be had! Jumbo sausage and chips was £4.10 but I didn't spot that the pies were only £2!! I needed to buy and eat within 30mins, as I was running tight for a train - food looked very lightly cooked but was okay and a good size. Certainly a recommendation if you are in the area if only for it's value for money!

So we were staying in Chester, I had to find somewhere to eat, this place popped up on Google for being known for a gluten free menu asy partner is gluten free.... It was fairly obvious they accommodated for gluten free to the point they had a separate menu. When we arrived there, we entered down a built up area and immediately thought we might of made a mistake, but oh how looks could be deceiving. This establishment, just wow, we were pointed to a table on the stage, the TV had bad reception, the area where we sat, there was an unopened Amazon package on one table, some handheld tools on another and we thought, what were we getting in to. However, the girl on the bar, she was polite and very welcoming, so we took the table given, then placed our order. Now I can't even begin to explain the next hour, with my partner being gluten free she was a little hesitant on what she ordered, but, on an opposite table, the chef came out and spoke to a woman who was pregnant and singled out what dressing she could have and avoid due to being pregnant. Then our food arrived... Dear God, I cannot begin to know what to put. But the food here... Quite easily the best I've had, I've eaten in some places and this place, just wow. The food was absolutely exquisite. Now I drove 3 hours to this place, I would go again, even 3 hours just for the food. The starters were amazing, I had chicken wings, they were the best I've tasted in a long time,y partner had chicken dirty fries, the server when she dropped off the starters explained that both dishes were gluten free, so we were both able to experience both dishes. After that I had a burger, which I thought would be an every day burger dish, n oh my, what a burger. My partner had a gluten free burger and she was as just blown away. So to sum up, the food... Just amazing, the staff, super super polite and really welcoming, if I could eat there every week I would of it wasn't for the distance. The reason I go to Chester is a yearly thing, I will be going again next year and years to come. If you live near and haven't been. Go. Don't hesitate, just go. It's delicious, welcoming and well worth every penny.

Absolute rip off! Below par food. Why do they put the burgers in a waffle iron? Is it to disguise the fact that it was just a meat patty with cheese on a bun? £17 for that a few chips, a pathetic piece of cob and 3 pieces of waffle with hardly any topping. They are treating their customers with contempt by sending such rubbish out and thinking it is acceptable. They should be ashamed.

Very friendly welcome. Quick service. We ordered large chicken kebabs. The chicken had been soaked in lime and gave a lovely flavour to the chicken. Cooked perfectly and served on a soft flatbread. Salad was fresh and crisp. Thankfully we don’t live far away so will be going again.

If you're looking for a dining experience that provides a warm, attractive, intimate, setting, alongside the finest, quality cooking - then The Sticky Walnut will not disappoint. The well crafted menu provided us with a dilemma for choice as every dish on it listed an adventurous combination of ingredients that we were eager to sample. I ordered the confit of duck leg with port braised red cabbage, Madeira and prune sausage, pickled walnut, parsnip purée and red wine sauce. Robust flavours that blended to perfection. The humble carrot was elevated to a taste sensation in a side dish, having been roasted with smoked, garlic honey. Portions are generous so I sensibly passed on dessert but my friend ordered the honeycomb icecream which was 'divine' . I sneaked a piece of the homemade honeycomb - move over Crunchie bar! The young chef is obviously passionate about food and is aided by an attentive and friendly team. Highly recommend a visit.

We visited The Suburbs after we had eaten at kingdoms restaurant ( The Yard) . The cocktails, ambience and staff were fabulous. This is the best cocktail bar in Chester without a doubt. Thanks to the staff ( Hannah, Viv, Tom, Olivia and Roman) who made our night one to remember.

Came here as couldn't get in anywhere else...Not the best indian. Over priced and over spiced food. Ordered the mix grill and was covered in some herbs. Comes with no sauce unlike some places and they thought charging £5 for a bit of sauce was OK. Won't go again, can see why it's so quiet. Left wishing we'd got a Chinese takeaway from over the road
