The best restaurants in Hoole Cheshire West and Chester North West

Visitors to Chester staying around the corner happened to walk down the street and popped intially for a drink. Decided to eat, food was excellent. Great service, friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. Well impressed.

What a lovely find.. I was staying in a local hotel and the takeaway I usually go to is now closed so I stumbled upon this one and it didn't disappoint! The lady who served us was lovely and had a massive welcome, she didn't rush us as we didn't know quite what we wanted yet. Proper chippy chips were delicious and they fry them from fresh on the front. Crispy beef was very generous and the sauce was delightful. Mushroom foo yung was a large portion. As I was waiting for my order to be carefully prepared, I heard another customer order a large spring roll - not had one of these in a long time so next time, I will be sure to order this..! Thanks for a delicious dinner!

Had Sunday lunch . Fantastic food and fantastic staff.

Called a order for ..Cheeseburger & chips & 9 inch Meat Feast Pizza..Delivery came no cheeseburger/ cheesy chips instead..Pizza was stone cold..my partner foned to complain & asked what's happened to be told you can pay for a cheeseburger to be delivered..What a joke ..will never use them again ..Attitude was horrendous when my partner complained..Bye Bye Munchies

Avoid this place. The food is all packaged, lacking any freshness or effort. The manager is outright rude, making the experience even worse. Easily the worst café in Hoole—don’t waste your time or money.

The food is very nice as are the staff, it’s friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is just about right and it’s my favourite pub in Hoole.

Salt n chilli beef, was burnt but as I was at home 15 miles away couldn't return it.

Absolute rip off! Below par food. Why do they put the burgers in a waffle iron? Is it to disguise the fact that it was just a meat patty with cheese on a bun? £17 for that a few chips, a pathetic piece of cob and 3 pieces of waffle with hardly any topping. They are treating their customers with contempt by sending such rubbish out and thinking it is acceptable. They should be ashamed.

Very friendly welcome. Quick service. We ordered large chicken kebabs. The chicken had been soaked in lime and gave a lovely flavour to the chicken. Cooked perfectly and served on a soft flatbread. Salad was fresh and crisp. Thankfully we don’t live far away so will be going again.

We visited The Suburbs after we had eaten at kingdoms restaurant ( The Yard) . The cocktails, ambience and staff were fabulous. This is the best cocktail bar in Chester without a doubt. Thanks to the staff ( Hannah, Viv, Tom, Olivia and Roman) who made our night one to remember.

It's a Chester cafe in Hoole. A bit trendy, a bit pricy. The food was good. The tea too. If you want trendy and stylish yes, if you are taking kids and want to park hobsons near by is a different vibe.

Ordered 4 baps...clearly been in fridge and stale. One day left on best before and served from a hatch ....where clearly old stuff is dispatched. Never again ..come on...this is Hoole ....raise your game but I suspect not. Avoid

Came here as couldn't get in anywhere else...Not the best indian. Over priced and over spiced food. Ordered the mix grill and was covered in some herbs. Comes with no sauce unlike some places and they thought charging £5 for a bit of sauce was OK. Won't go again, can see why it's so quiet. Left wishing we'd got a Chinese takeaway from over the road
