Absolutely fantastic mushroom pizza from Baked on Board. Fantastic experience, sitting on the canal cut eating freshly cooked pizza. Thank you.

Had takeaway pizzas this time. All 5 pizzas were delicious, hot, fresh tasty, this is one of my favourite takeaways and restaurants.

Friendly staff who were well presented in their uniforms, freshly cooked (vegetarian) breakfast, clean premises, beautiful surroundings and scenery of the marina. The cake selection is excellent so I had to try one with my breakfast!😋 Note the car park is gravel so be careful parking up if you're on a motorbike.

We used to eat here regularly but hadn’t been for quite a while. It was surprisingly quiet for a Friday evening on a Bank Holiday weekend, after our visit, unfortunately, I understand why. We were seated promptly, menus were given and drinks order taken by a nice waitress. The menu was relatively small (which I normally see as a positive as it usually means the dishes are homemade and the recipes have been perfected) but it lacked the inventiveness of the menu on our previous visits. It took quite a while for order to be taken which I didn’t really understand as there were so few customers. We ordered quite simply, a burger with blue cheese and chips and the fish and chips. The burger came with fries rather than chips which wasn’t a major issue but both the fries and chips tasted like the standard supermarket frozen variety and weren’t particularly crispy. The burger was nice but the bun was burnt in part, it was a large piece of fish but the batter was a bit thick and not very crispy and the accompanying tartare sauce tasted like it had just come out of a jar rather than being homemade. We were there about 90 minutes but nobody asked if we wanted more drinks. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either.

We visited as a family and the staff were very welcoming, especially with our children, offering us games to play which was great for the children. We had a lovely bottle of French wine which was recommended to us and I chose the fish and chips which was fantastic (and much better than a greasy chippy fish!!) My partner had the risotto which was fresh and tasty. The kids had the fantastic 3 course kids menu - just £8.75 for 3 courses, we were very impressed! We finished with a sticky toffee pudding which was clearly home made and very tasty! Overall, great service, very family friendly and delicious food. The pub is lovely and we will be back!

We attended the festival of transport in Audlem and called in for breakfast at the Bridge Inn. The food was excellent, big portions and very good value with coffee or tea refills. The staff were very attentive and friendly and we will definitely go back again when we are in the area.
