Friendly people, nice traditional boozer with outside seating. Good selection of ales that they brew themselves on the premises. Handy if you’ve been for a walk down the river and your heading back to Carlisle from dalston 👍🏼

What a lovely place to sit down and eat. Food portions are huge so definitely feel defeated after that one. Food was piping hot, fresh and delicious. Service was brilliant the lady serving us couldn’t be any more accommodating to my picky eating habits! Would come back ten times over

The Wellington Inn and Caravan Park.. Is such a quaint and cosy Inn..friendly staff. Delicious food.. The Seasonal Pie was something else, home made and perfect . The Wellington Burger was superb too .and the puddings ..home made. The jam roly poly was absolutely delicious as was the banana split..and not overly priced either. They sell hand pulled Bitter and a good selection of Gins and other Spirits. The Caravan Park.very quiet. beautifully maintained .

Super friendly staff, amazing quality food and very good and fast service

The staff was lovely but the place needs serious cleaning, kitchen showed to busy with flies of which were partly taken care of by fly paper strips which was coloured black with the amount on there. My grandmother had an egg mayo which had a hair in and I found myself with a fly in the bottom of my coffee. Overall awful experience

Me and my partner often go to crumbs, it’s absolutely amazing and it’s always our first choice for a spot off lunch. Can’t get enough off the staff, there always so nice and talkative!

Fabulous food as always but could do with a specials board. The service was a little slow sadly but would always recommend going.

Need to go over to the North East to understand the meaning of the real fish and chips! Batter too thin and tasteless, skin normally left on for better taste - but cod skinless and tasteless. Mush instead of mushy peas. Chips cold.

Visited with my wife and a friend for afternoon coffee and cakes. Drinks were fine, and our friend’s square of cake was fine, however my wife and I had quite meagre slices of cake, her Victoria sponge was a very narrow slice, and my coffee cake was smaller still, however we finished our cakes and coffee and paid the bill. As we were leaving we observed someone else having cake brought to them which was by contrast a very generous slice indeed. So it’s pot luck really - it may be the case that the cakes that are selling well are cut thinly to maximise revenue per slice, whereas the less popular variants are cut generously to get rid of them, but it’s shockingly inconsistent .

Good Premiere Inn just outside Carlisle, rooms upto the usual standard and the Beefeater pub attached is good too, nice food and good breakfasts 👍

We had our Wedding at Dalston Hall on 29/12/24. On first visit to the venue we were really impressed with both the bridal getting ready room and the grooms games room with a pool table in. The venue is just beautiful and the marquee where we had our wedding breakfast and evening reception is large and has its own bar, its also nice and warm even in December. The resident DJ was great, he took all our requests beforehand and also some on the day and everyone was up dancing! Our wedding coordinator Olivia took all the stress of the day away and took everything in hand, we didnt have to worry about anything! I would 100% recommend Dalston hall!

The food was not worth the price at all,burger was served just by itself as I asked for no red onion not even a bit off lettuce or salad in sight!my husbands lasagne was so hard on top he could barely cut through it also the chicken fajitas were chewy and unedible and served with a wrap which was stone cold as if straight from the fridge,will most definitely not be back
