Very fresh lovely side salad with my ham cheese toasties.. went midmorning. My friend had chicken baguette with fresh salad lots of chicken. We were delighted with service and friendliness and price. Certainly place to go back again

First time ever I've not been able to eat a baguette. Really gone down hill this place.

Tried the Jacket potato very small and was burnt black inside not much potato at all. Also had cheese savoury filling not very nice just loaded with chopped onion

Sandwich bar with delicious baguettes and paninis. There's plenty of more delicious food and drinks. Fair prices. For baguette and coffee I paid £5

Ordered a buffet for 20 people for our welcome to the world party. The buffet was fantastic, great selection of food everything was delicious. We will definitely order again for our next party

I'll be using this again when I'm close. Lovely staff. Excellent food and very cheap. Bit of a shame. There's no room indoors to eat, but non the less a great little place for breakfast. There is seating outside if the weather is OK.

3 of us had a prawn salad box and 2 baguettes for lunch, so fresh and lovely!

Fabulous food! It's delicious and they definitely don't skimp. Nice coffee too as long as you like it fairly strong, which I do.

Moved to Denton Holme 6 months ago and Crumbs has been a life saver, we are having work done in every room in the house so cooking has been difficult, really good food, good value for money, but most of all the staff are wonderful . many thanks Paul and George

What a wee find this was ! Unassuming sandwich shop, but delivering a great selection of baguettes, paninis, rolls, as well as soups and salads. I had the special of the day - a fajita panini with cheese, salad and coleslaw. The panini was absolutely delicious, spicy but not too much, and bursting "bags of flavour" (as Greg Wallace would say). Even the coleslaw was the tastiest I ever sampled. In short - well worth a visit, especially if you're after a freshly made tasty lunch, at a reasonable price.

Asked for sausage and egg, got sausage and bacon, don't like bacon and couldn't go back once I left should of checked before I left, wasn't even a busy shop

Made a couple of stops here whilst staying in the area, ordered a sausage baguette and was given a fresh crusty footlong french stick with a single sausage that was bigger than the baguette itself. Very tasty and a bargain too Tip Top !!!

We got our family lunch here by ordering in advance. The food is great, portions full and the staff lovely. So pleased it's open again. Fab place and it's good to support a local business that is a stalwart of our village.

£9.50 for a full breakfast with a coffee with no milk,could do alot better,I'm homeless,hadn't eaten for 6 days,where's Carlisle spirit gone

First, we visited the Dalston Takeaway. The building inside is quite old, and wouldn’t say cleanest, but OK. The staff member was friendly, but didn’t do anything special. The prices here are quite high, three rolls nearly £8.00! There weren’t any Tray-bakes that took our fancy so we had to go to the Co-op over the road. The Rolls were Good, but nothing special. Wouldn’t be a place we would drive from the City Centre to come to but OK if you want a quick meal, as this is the only lunch takeaway in the area.

We regularly use Crumbs and this week we were not let down. The hot pie was fab, the hot roll was great and the jacket spud was fab too. I also had a new choice; chicken & herb baguette which was a hit. They have started their festive baguettes and although we didn't indulge this week we don't think we'll be able to hold out much longer!! A totally fab local sandwich shop run by lovely people.

Everything about this place is amazing, makes you feel like a kid in a sweet shop... if you can't make your mind up then ask the staff to recommend something... you won't be disappointed. Only shame is that they aren't open 24/7 for midnight munchies.

Asked for a chicken and bacon baguette and they give me a chicken mayonnaise and hardly any bacon. Wouldn't recommend

Whoevers complaining doesn’t know a banging baguette when they taste one, let me tell you something, the staff here sure know how to handle a cumberland sausage, cooked and served to perfection, very affordable prices aswell for a delicious sandwich and a good old brew, it’s a yes from me!

Good quality freshly made food. Reasonably priced and lots of choice, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Very popular with cyclists - they even provide towels to help you dry off when the weather isn't too good. There is a nice, well looked after outside seating area too. Would definitely recommend.

The shop is spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful. There is a great menu and the food is excellent. I would recommend Crumbs.

On entering I thought everything looked nice. Menu accessible and lots of choice. However woman on the counter totally ruined the experience she glared at us no manner no “can I help” no please or thank-you everything seemed a chore for her. I asked for a wholemeal baguette I got seeded! I asked the ingredients of one of the fillings and she would not tell me! My other half asked for a toasted panini the filling he choose had almost run out rather than offering something else to top it up she spread it very thinly then burnt it. We had intended to purchase cakes and drinks but decided due to terrible service not to. Certainly will not return. I suspect this is a local sandwich shop for local people!

Highly recommended for all Baguettes and Sandwiches throughout the week and Saturday mornings until mid afternoon.

Just passing by and thought we would stop in for a breakfast bun. Sausages are nice, not one of those generic catering flavorless things, this was a tasty Cumberland. Top sausage. The staff and owner were very friendly. I would live to make this my regular baguette place. Looking forward to eating in their other location.

Great menu and great food. Our very fussy family called in today for lunch. We all found our favourites on the menu and enjoyed it all. Quick friendly service and reasonably priced, quality food. Highly recommend!

An excellent take away sandwich shop. Brilliant choice of sandwiches, panini sand rolls. Lovely home made cakes as well. Staff very friendly. Shows the quality of food as the shop is extremely busy at lunch times. Well worth calling in 👍🏻👍🏻

Noticed the shop while walking past on Cumbria Way. Huge selection on board made choosing tricky. Coronation chicken baguette was well filled and delicious. Cheese and pineapple was a tasty filling too. Surprisingly inexpensive .

Amazing food at great prices. The food is all fresh, the premises are clean, the staff are polite and friendly etc. Crumbs is highly recommended.

We always stop here on our way to the caravan for a couple of baguettes. Coronation Chicken is my favourite. Girls always chatty. It's not worth making your own sandwiches, you won't top these.

Called on our way home for a quick coffee, but were tempted by seafood roll and sponge cake. Both were spot-on as was the coffee. Nice to sit outside as only room for one table indoors. Only negative the annoying wasps, but they were a small price to pay!

I often stop here on the way to work from my boyfriends house. The food is lovely and fresh and nothing is never a problem. I am often waiting for this shop to open at around 8.30. I feel the food is good value for money and will defiantly be returning. Keep it up!

Tea, Coffee and soft drinks are available. We had a chicken panini. It was spot on and well filled. The menu is extensive. Nice staff. On sunny days they put out tables and chairs. It's in the heart of the village so you can sit there and watch the micro world go by .
