Premier Inn Carlisle M6 J42 hotel in Carlisle

Bit of a dated premier inn now. They are slower doing up the rooms. I got one of the new plus rooms. Pretty nice tbh

Like most premier inns. The food offering is pretty limited.

Not really the usual Premier Inn standard. Hotel is very tired and dated. No food available after 9pm either. Must say staff were very helpful though

Ideal location for carlisle Town centre. Rooms comfortable but would benefit from a refurbishment. This one definitely needs updating. The staff were amazing and dealt with our daughters sickness with compassion.

Good Premiere Inn just outside Carlisle, rooms upto the usual standard and the Beefeater pub attached is good too, nice food and good breakfasts 👍

Premier inn are not what they used to be. Very out dated. Breakfast was across the road at The Beefeater and their is no room service anymore. If you want fresh towels and coffee refreshments, you got to ask at reception. Also, they tried to charge us twice for the Sunday breakfast that we didn't book.

Good place to stop on the way to Scotland rooms clean and tidy staff helpful. Restaurant next door staff helpful food ok (bit pricey) Only complaint (twice this year once last year the sound level on TV has been set very low) will still be using twice next year

Excellent place to break a long journey. Staff are excellent very helpful .

Friendly helpful staff. Everything we needed in the room. Breakfast hot and plenty of it. All in all a brilliant stay

I stay here a reasonable amount... The hotel is comfortable and very quiet, the restaurant and bar are great (nb, 10pm last call), the car park can get a little crowded with lorries and vans from trades staying the night, but I've never yet not found a space, they have installed a new EV charger (type 2, ccs and chadmo) at 75p/kWh (at the time of writing) and with overstay fee, so you won't find someone has plugged in for the whole night. There is only one very minor downside... In my experience the doors can rattle due to air pressure changes as other guests open the hallway separating doors (particularly if they open them forcefully). The door for room 134 is particularly bad for this, and while there are only 7 other rooms down that section it can be quite annoying if they all decide to go to breakfast at 5 minute intervals at 6.30am!

Its rare when you go to any place where service is key where you come across ALL the staff being so genuinely kind and caring. This is one of them. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. It really does make a difference and turned a modest hotel into a really pleasant stay. Thank you to every one but especially Emilia in the restaraunt and your team leader who clearly runs a great ship.

Excellent helpful staff. Great location to stay for our midway drive to Edinburgh.

Hotel was spotless, very friendly and helpful staff. Only downside was the attached pub called last orders at 9.45

Nothing to complain about in the slightest. A wonder to stay with a cozy atmosphere, comfortable beds, polite staff and very clean rooms. I would love to visit again at some point in my travels. 🟣🌛💤
