The best restaurants in North Manor Bury North West

Our first visit to the Hamers arm and the meal was excellent. Starters of chicken tikka skewers, feta cheese, black pudding croquettes & salt & pepper chicken all fantastic. Main courses cheese & onion pie, fish & chips & peri peri chicken, our plates were empty. Quality ingredients very well cooked, nicely presented and served by friendly staff, what more could you ask for, oh and good value for money. We have already booked for Sunday !! Give this new dining venue a try, you won’t be disappointed, we’ll done to all Involved.

We went for lunch and I spotted the good value breakfast which many of the customers were eating but I decided to go off the specials . Unfortunately cheese flan had sold out . I selected chicken and bacon pie with chips , delicious but I would say to ask about putting gravy on the chips . Only reason the chips were all fresh homemade and I missed that taste . Lovely selection of cakes too . Flapjack . Rocky road . I think this is perfect for walkers , bikers . After a big uphill climb what a perfect spot

Great staff and friendly hands on owner, good menu and selection of cakes etc. Tuna club sandwich is a must.

A bit dissatisfied, I feel it is overpriced. I had the steak which was cold in places general fries and a cold tomato which was close to £30. My husband had the cod looked lovely but again nothing to shout about. Our waitress was lovely, it was very busy however service was good.

Just had the Christmas Lunch with friends. The food was excellent and nicely presented. Service was good and the price very reasonable. A shame it was so quiet - they need to market the venue better. Overall a lovely experience.

Booked for lunch at 12 o'clock. Food had been preordained but hadn't arrived by 12.30. Had to ask about it ,disinterested waitress said chef didn't start cooking till 12.30!! Wasn't told this on booking. Wasn't very warm when it eventually arrived. Won't go again

Well what can I say this shop is brilliant from the first contact to collecting the cheesecakes I can not fault Omid and his team would highly recommend definitely would use again

Problem with the delivery drivers tyre. Ended up going to collect myself.

The food was really good, would go back. Service was slow, but it was busy and there were only two people serving and making drinks - so fair play to them two! They do have lots of gluten free options. Overall, we were there for two hours whilst we had a bottle of wine and a main meal.

Popped in for lunch, absolutely loved it. Food all reasonably priced, hot and tasty. Beer was refreshing and lines exceptionally clean. Superb service; both staff on were lovely and Peter was very friendly. It has been added to our "visit again soon" list

Food was ok as was the service and value for money. Really put off by the dog that kept yapping behind us and the child that was banging cutlery onto a plate repeatedly but not being stopped by parents. Dogs should not be in the dining area
