Lovely meal and great service. Just one little moan.....one scoop of ice-cream is not enough with the apple and cinnamon crumble!! But all was delicious 😋 Good evening out. Quiet at time we went, about 5-7pm. Has disabled parking and access. Very attentive staff. Millie being one of these. Good portion of food. Already sent friends in the past for rhe afternoon. Nice music. Might be missed because not a noticeable route.

Food was excellent, we had afternoon tea. All very fresh and tasty. The waiter changed our sandwich selection to suit our palette. One problem I had was the menu displaying £11 for a bottle of Prosecco. There was no charge displayef per glass. We ordered 2 glasses and was charged £22. I queried this and was advised this was correct. On the website, the menu for afternoon tea is £22.50, and the charge to include a glass of prosecco is only £5 extra, so why was I charged £22? I pointed this out to a waiter, but no refund was provided. Love the restaurant, but felt upset by such an excessive charge, especially when the wine menu displays a bottle of Prosecco for £11.

I am currently eating the butter chicken. Now, I come from Leicester, so I know a proper curry when I see one. And this is a proper curry. It's beautiful. Thanks Chef

Had booked afternoon tea. Restaurant was busy, food was gorgeous, service was excellent and the place had a good vibe.

Very nice restaurant right inside Red Hall Hotel. The restaurant space is not very big but moderately furnished. We had afternoon tea which was good but not very exceptional. The items served were okay but just the regular sandwich, Sausage roll, scones and selection of sweets. In all, it was a great time with my wife.

Afternoon tea for 4 was delicious. There was more than enough that we had to take some home in a tub. Staff were lovely and polite. Would definitely recommend

Four of us had afternoon tea here last month - it was excellent. Sandwiches and savouries were more interesting than the usual fare - eg mozzarella on brioche, a delicious warm slice of sausage roll. And finger sandwiches of course. The scones were generously sized with clotted cream and jam. We had seven little cakes each - a delightful mini strawberry tart, a triangle of chocolate brownie, lemon drizzle, macaron, plus others. I've been back again this month and it was just as lovely. The staff are very welcoming, the surroundings are pleasant and the vintage china was an unusual touch.

Oscars, for being a part of the hotel, the restaurant is pleasant, the food is well presented and reasonable with a good choice to cater for all pallets. The staff are friendly and helpful with a welcoming smile, for me it just lacks atmosphere it's nicely decorated with a modern vibe, but whether it's the layout or the shape of the room, it just seems to lack something. But this would not put me off from having a meal here.

Stayed for one night, had a burger for tea, the service was excellent, but the burger was a bit over done, breakfast was fine,, I went for the continental which was all fresh and tasty.

We got there at 5.50pm order food was still waiting at 7.15pm for our main meals.We asked 3 times to see what's happening the staff are unwilling to help.

Brilliant food in a great location.

Food very good staff poor as it was mothers day and had a wedding on at same time they did not have enough staff on to do the job properly, 3 hours for a set 3 meal was far to long then when we needed drinks we had to go and find a waiter and order them then find anotherone 30 mins later as first one forgot, the staff were bullied by the managment for jobs that shoul have been done by the managment. Only one young girl behind bar with 300 guests who got shouted at, then the wife and daughter went outside for taxi as we paid bill and guess what arived the drink we orderd 40 mins later. If your starving be prepaired for long wait, tables will be a bit quicker as we will not be back again untill managment manage better

Lovely place, can imagine it's a fantastic place to go in the summer and sit outside. There for a networking event and staff couldn't do enough

Had a lovely meal at Oscars restaurant. The chef adjusted a dish to accommodate my dietary requirements, and the service from George was lovely. Will definitely return.

Just had a lovely time at Oscars Restaurant, Red Hall Hotel! Was very nice to see George back & received excellent customer service from him as well as having a fantastic meal. Will be back soon for one of your lovely Sunday roasts.

Went for Xmas meal. Food was very good especially the seabass. Would highly recommend.

Yearly catch up with family and Birthday Lunch, Today the food quality had gone down hill. Service was excellent, the Food Alas > Poor. Starters, Soup & Prawn Cocktail were OK. Mains Xmas Turkey lunch looked as if prepared yesterday and heated up. Sea Bass , presentation poor, fish dry and just warm, vegetables poor. Fresh Fish & Chips, NO. Batter soft and leathery, looked as though it was frozen and heated up in the oven, so disappointing had to leave. Quietly mentioned to waiter but didn't want to upset our Birthday Girl. First time this Restaurant has let us down. Pity.

The food was very slow over 40 mins for a starter and disappointing (salad not fresh, no butter with the bread and not as described in the menu. The children were really unhappy. How do you explain to a 1 year old where the food is!
