Passed it purely by accident on way home but decided to stop if for a couple of beers. Cracking little place with a very nice pool table and atmosphere. The bloke behind the counter was super friendly and helpful would 100% recommended

Great pub, very welcoming lady at the bar, friendly patrons, no nonsense landlord. We were with our 7-month-old and had no problems to bring her in, as we visited during the afternoon. Ironically, I spent my secondary school days looking at this pub as we went by it on the school bus, and now I've finally been! Hooray!

Went in yesterday with my friend. The landlord is lovely! I loved how big the pub is and old style. The cleanliness and attention to detail is outstanding! Very excited to go and visit the pub in the warm weather and sit in the fabulous sun trap with such a lovely view of the bowling green. The customer service is second to none and there were a few down to earth, lovely friendly people in the pub 😀

I turned up at this pub on Tuesday 1st of February 2022 at about 1:30 p.m. GMT to find it closed. It has a restriction on parking for customers only where one has to log in once inside the pub. Given that I couldn't access the inside of the pub I hope that the surveillance camera was switched off.

Proper Holt's pub serves a great pint in the cleanest glasses. Kudos for the bowling green.

Good pint of bitter and friendly barkeep. Tuesday lunch time pretty dead but I could have used any kind of lunch option. Not to be so 2 pints and 2 bags of crisps!

It's okay the draught lager is diamond which if you want to either beat your partner or throw up is an excellent choice

Only went in with family to pick people up but stayed a while not a place I usually go as I don't drink but it's a spacious room and a large outside with seating good views outside

Nice roomy pub, loads of seats inside and out. They don't serve food but there is a good selection of drink. There is a games room with pool and darts available. There are also outside heaters for those cooler evenings. The decor is looking a bit dated but it's OK.
