This was my first visit to food foundry. Fabulous food and it is brilliant value for money. Staff warm and welcoming and very attentive. Love the place and would highly recommend it 🙂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've visited the shop in bury quite a few times now, friends live nearby. Excellent food. A Very good choice , You have to be early though it sells out quick. One of the main reasons I've decided to write this review is to my amazement today i noticed another food foundry open in Pendlebury Swinton local to me. I couldn't believe it ! so I called in for a pie and a sweet treat. Happy customer keep it up guys.

Food foundry is excellent every time, I am always spoilt for choice with the excellent menu and daily specials which are always amazing. I cannot recommend the food or atmosphere here enough. Some places get it right and this place is spot on. 👍

I have been to the Food foundry several times now. I have tried lots of the food on offer! It has always been cooked to perfection. The roast potatoes and the cheesecake are out of this world good! the Shepard’s pie is delicious! They are fantastic when we go in with the kids. My friend brings her baby who loves the toast they make her. The jacket potatoes are proper jacket potatoes not the microwaved rubbish some places sell. The portions are really good. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere while you are there and the staff are so friendly. My kids love the milkshakes and the toasties. I’ve raved on to everyone I know about Food foundry it’s that good. The only complaint I have is that if I’m not quick enough to get there the specials are sold out! My advice is follow them on Facebook and make sure you get in on time on the day your favourite special is on the menu. I will be there on a Friday that’s for sure! Save me 2 slices of cheesecake!

This is by far the best sandwich shop I have ever been to. They have daily specials which offer a wide variety, cooked fresh daily and taste delicious but you have to be quick and they are so popular they sell out quick! My personal favourite is the home made cheesy savoury, I can’t get enough of it! The staff are always pleasant and helpful and I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

My partner and I had breakfast sandwiches from here, they were hot, average tasting and what you’d expect from a usual greasy spoon (despite them pretending to be an above average greasy spoon) We both wound up with food poisoning in the afternoon which was definitely the food from here as we hadn’t eaten the same food for a couple of days as she was working away. We were both so ill and had to take 2 days off work. Don’t fall foul to the same.

Visited here for a bit of dinner, ordered a BLT. The bacon was hot and raw so the salad turned soggy and the mayo had congealed. It went straight in the bin, £3-75 for the pleasure. BLT’S have COLD streaky bacon on ( not back bacon). Won’t be visiting again.

A little hidden treasure in Bury is worth the find. Everything is at a high standard and the food is comforting. I ordered a sandwich for myself, and one for my friend and they were both great! Was priced well. Was tasty. Was perfect. Wasn’t expecting much from just a sandwich shop but I have to say they have outdone theirselves. All staff are smiling and they look happy to be apart of the customers experience. I will definitely be returning and if you don’t visit this lovely place, then you’re silly.

This little place is a real gem and since its opening in January 2019 has added something very special to the locality. If you just want a quick take-out coffee, you won't do better than the Food Foundry's Fairtrade Clumsy Goat coffee. If it's just a tea and a lazy Saturday breakfast of jacket potato skins filled with yummy items then look no further. You can relax and watch the world go by at the breakfast bar or at the window. Every day brings a homemade 'special' and boy is it special! If a freshly made sandwich is what you need, then you really are spoilt for choice. Pasta mad? You really have to indulge in a pasta box and there are fillings galore. If you have a weakness for homemade cakes or fruit pies then you probably need to stop reading, because the vanilla and white chocolate cheesecake is to die for and that's without the selection of cream cakes and other goodies. It's not just the food that makes this place special. It's the people. It may be on the smaller side of eating places but it's gigantic on customer service, hospitality and community spirit. You can't do better than that.
