The best restaurants in Horwich and Blackrod Bolton North West

Advertised as Fish Finger and Tartar Sauce Panini which sounded good but what was served was extremely poor. Poor quality fish finger with grey fish, cheap panini, limp salad with low cost tasteless frozen chips. I wouldnt serve that meal to a child never mind ask for money for it! To add further insult 2 x fish panini meal, tea & a water cost just short of £26.00 which is absolutely shocking! Definitely won’t be returning

First time I’ve done a review for this store even though I’ve been several times. Can never fault the food in Greggs, it’s always tasty and great value for money. We come here quite regularly and the state of the floor and the tables in the seating is disgusting 90% of the time. I appreciate there’s usually only 2 counter staff and it’s usually busy so they’re needed behind the counter, but they should either plan their day better or have an additional person on during the busy period. You shouldn’t have to bully the staff into cleaning up. On this occasion we had 2 hot southern fried chicken baguettes in our order and we had to go on a treasure hunt to find the chicken.

We visited as a table of 8 for a works do. Great food, portions are huge and everyone's meals were tasty. We all had starters and mains with drinks and it was very reasonably priced. Service was fast however could be a bit more friendly and remember to smile. Other than that would highly recommend to visit

Despite clearly advertising a £5.99 toastie and coffee meal deal on the board above the counter, we were informed at the till that the meal deal was not applicable to cheese and tomato toasties. It may well be the case that exclusions are listed in the small print, however this is not visible until you arrive at the till after queuing. It may seem like a small thing, but principles matter. Poor. Take your money to an independent coffee shop that values your custom.

Always a favourite. Arrived very late for a booking after horrible traffic. Despite it being very busy we were immediately found a table and the food and service, as always, was fantastic.

Staff were rude. Shannon was especially rude and arrogant. Everything too much trouble just stood about chatting to other staff while the food on the side going cold!

Love the refurbished look . Light and airy . Good , friendly service and our order was soon ready ( coffee , hot egg & spinach sandwich , mozzarella & tomato panini . ) Thank you to the staff . We look forward to calling in again when next in the area .

We visited for a family meal of 9 of us and the service was excellent as always. We all throughly enjoyed our meals and the waiters were very knowledgeable on the cocktails and shots we had afterwards. Highly recommend

Had four delicious hot curries delivered off Goa balti spice in December ordered New Years Eve early evening our two curries were delivered COLD warmed curry up but onion bargies and naan had to be thrown so sorry won't risk it again

It was the first time we'd been here on a Sunday and I'm glad we'd booked, as it was very busy. The food was just as good as normal and my roast duck was superb. Well done Goose and Gander for maintaining your high standards.

We haven't been for a while to this lovely Italian. The Restraunt has a a refresh and is bright and welcoming. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food. Amazing food, we had the crayfish and crab ravioli and garlic mushrooms. The best garlic bread we have ever had. Amazing service and a special mention (nott a "shout out" as I'm English) to Katie, smiling and professional throughout and a credit to the Restraunt, thank you.

Excellent takeaway. Speedy delivery. We order meals from here regularly and have never been disappointed. Would recommend.
