The best restaurants in Washington North Sunderland North East

For the first time I visited this cafe.Unfortunately my experience wasn't good.Firstly I found the service rather slow and not very friendly especially the young blonde girl.We had x2 latte coffees and honestly they were not not nice,very weak and too milky ....and very expensive. Needless to say I will becreluctant to return to this cafe.A real shame as it has a great location in the Galleries. I hope this helps you to rectify the problems as we really don't like to complain.

Good price only issue beer not cold enough

Ordered tonight and it was absolutely crap, to be honest I felt a bit sick after eating half of a 10" pizza and half a portion of chips - usually a big eater. I've thrown the rest away. Order was wrong as I got Tuna and Sweetcorn on the pizza instead of Neptune (Tuna and Onion) - I hate sweetcorn so that's probably why I felt sick - I chose not to complain as the pizza didn't look bad in spite of that (a bit pasty but not bad as such). About half of the chips were overdone to the point I could taste the burnt on them, they didn't look bad which is why I think it could be old oil being used. A few of them were nice and crispy but few and far between. Don't rate the garlic dip but the portion of it is about right so no real issues there. Likewise with delivery there was no mistakes or issues there. I will give some credit that nothing I had was overly greasy like some other places I've tried but most stuff needs improving.

Much better than donwell chippy "our local" The kebabs are spot on the owner isnt a Pakistani with cheap tatties and poor old cooking oil...click gets our vote.

Ordered a takeaway, 2 rogan josh, £11.93 each. It arrived and it was chicken and not very nice chicken at that. If you type into Google rogan josh it says its usually lamb or mutton. I've never had a chicken rogan josh in my life. Rang the takeaway and the manager wasn't interested. I also ordered poppadoms which didn't arrive. Again the manager wasn't interested because we had ordered from deliveroo. Spent nearly £50 on a takeaway for 2 and most of it went in the bin. Absolutely abysmal

didn't receive my order, I would appreciate my money back, I also think the money shouldn't leave my account until I receive my food, I would like to hear back from you when my money is back in my account, thanks

Rude staff. Don't use the doors apparently the staff need to pay for them. Been drinking here very regularly for the last couple of years. Always used the door in the beer garden. "Push to open" written on the door, a manger told us in quite a rude fashion with an aggressive tone that she would have to pay for the door if it was broken, I had no idea she owned the weatherspoons franchise and was responsible for there doors, but also can not understand how using it as described would break the door. Disappointed as always with the service. No consideration for there regulars what so ever.

The restaurant called me to say that the driver was lost and when they told me where he was he was about 100 yards along the road, it took a further two phone calls to the restaurant to find out the driver spoke very little English and couldn’t understand the directions, almost 30 minutes later my food arrived!! The food was barely warm And tasted pretty average to say the least, disappointing

Despite coming a little on the cold side with missing items, this Chinese was one of the best ones I have ever ordered from!

Received a call to tell me the delivery driver was outside - driver no where to be seen. We scouted the entire street and found no one. Called the store and spoke to the ‘manager’ who was extremely rude, didn’t apologise once and wasn’t bothered, asked me what I wanted him to do and I said I wanted to him call the driver to see where they were. As a manager myself I find it disrespectful how I was spoken to and when a customer is complaining of bad service an apology goes a long way. I will not use dominions Washington again. Seemed pointless writing a complaint to domino’s also as they were also no use. Will never use again. When you spend just shy of £60 for a family treat, I expect much better.
