We ordered food from here 😋 Last night. What a meal 😍.. It was cooked spot on. 😋 Plenty of meat in it,full flavour. Mmm. Time of order/ It even came earlier than expected. This was the first time I have tried food from here. As you can probably tell I am well impressed. If I could give it more than five stars 🌟 I would. Thank you Lucky House . Well done....

Fried rice was soggy and congealed (as if reheated which would explain the early delivery time) and my beef in Cantonese sauce was pure vinegar so much so it stung my nose and eyes when I opened the container. Only ordered here as usual place closed wish I hadn’t bothered disgusting waste of money in the bin

The food was really nice we ordered chicken chow main and Cantonese ribs 😋

Stale chips, watered down gravy, half cooked prawn crackers, chewy chicken.... just not nice at all. Definitely WOULDN'T recommend.

They was plenty food but quality wasn’t good. Couldn’t really taste the salt & pepper and everything was cold I think that’s caused by been late so quantity wasn’t good at all.

Chips were overcooked and looked like they had been sat for hours before we got them, the gravy tasted terrible and was watery, I often order from here and never had a problem but this was my last time 😔

Ordered roast chicken n chips with gravy chicken very dry n chips tasted like of yesterday n re fried absolutely 💯 waste of money used to be really nice but went down hill big time only thing still nice is the gravy n curry sauce won't be using again 😒

The food was horrible my husband has nearly broke his tooth on a bone from the duck and the chips were burnt and the gravy tasted like it had loads of soy sauce in it I will not be ordering again

This has to be the worst Chinese I have ever had the chips were stale and the sweet and sour balls were like they were cooked yesterday which was all batter and no meat . The curry sauce had no taste and I would not recommend it to anybody

Good basic British Chinese food. Char Sui black bean and duck chow mein were both nice with a good ratio of meat to sauce/noodle. Only concern was the sweet and sour sauce seemed to have forgotten the sour! Came with free prawn crackers.

Ordered garlic & chilli with chicken and prawn. Plenty of chicken but counted 3 prawns!! Dish had an overpowering sweetness to it which you do not expect when choosing garlic and chilli dish. Strangely enough curry sauce had same sweetness to it so must be preference of chef but disappointing. I did get a free bag of prawn crackers tho, however considering I had spent £2.80 on ordering a bag of prawn crackers with my order, what was the point of that? Any way, if you have a sweet tooth, don't like prawns and want two bags of prawn crackers with your order I would highly reccomend.

I had confirmation of the order at 5:33pm and it got delivered just before 7pm. This is a totally unacceptable time to wait and its not the first time either which is a shame because the food is normally always 1st class as well. I'm now going to reconsider these as my goto Chinese takeaway if its going to be an hour and a half for delivery.

Waited for delivery. Rang 3 times still no delivery food still isn't here and now over an hour late. First time I've tried lucky house and won't be again Will be asking just eat for my money back

Food was late and cold, it tasted horrible and ended up in the bin. Chips looked like they had been there for a week

Ordered a curry and house special starter. The starter was very dry. Ribs had no sauce, the skewers didn't either. Chicken was completely dried out. Only thing in the starter that was nice was the prawn toast. Dip it came with had a layer of grease. Curry was basically grease and everything was cold. Such a shame as I used to really enjoy the food from here. Literally the worst meal I've had from here. Unfortunately the food ended up in the bin.

We normally love the food from here but tonight’s order was freezing cold. I don’t mind that it was late getting delivered but to come so cold the curry had all separated and gone jelly like and the chips were so hard. I’m very disappointed

Ordered chicken chow mein, wasn't what I received, was chicken and noodles in sweet and sour sauce, rang Lucky House and the lady I spoke to told me it was def chicken chow mein and she was watching chef cook one, told her I didn't think it was as it didn't look or smell like chicken chow mein but she was adamant it was, my meal went in the bin!

Always use lucky house but tonight was disappointing. Chow mein was very dry and had onions when I requested water chestnuts instead. Very small amount of congealed gravy over stuck-together chips. Didn't enjoy at all.

Chicken on one dish was very dry

Food is always amazing, only negative comment is the ribs, they are small and tiny, need to change that to normal ribs

I was told by the restaurant it had left at 18.45 at 19.35 the food arrived stone cold.

Chips were cold, and for £3 it was absolutely disgusting. Delivery was late spent over £22 on this order for it to be s### won't be ordering again!

Chips where over cooked and gravy was like water. Asked to change sweet and sour sauce for gravy and sent sweet and sour.

Really disappointed with last nights food. First time trying here as was recommended to me. The food was an hour early which was a huge inconvenience and it was also stone cold. Such a shame.

Usually always order Chinese from this restaurant. Went last night and took an hour and half to arrive. When it came it was cold as if had been sat for hours before delivery. Most of it went in the bin! Such a waste, hopefully will process the refund as requested!

This was easily the best takeaway I've ever had. Ordered it as my usual place wasn't taking orders. This is now my new usual place. Absolutely 10/10. I ordered the £19.99 Lucky Box and it was top tier. Would recommend.

I ordered at 6.55pm and was given a delivery time of 7.45-8.05, at 7.30 I was told my order was on the way, it got to 8pm and there was still nothing, I called the restaurant at 8.15 not being rude just simply asking for an update where I was told my order was on the way, 8.40 I call again when I am told they’re a driving down and it’ll be sent out soon, but it was already “on the way” as of 25 mins prior lol, anyway 9pm the food arrives, cold. Also I opted to pay extra for extra rice on my curry rice and chips, clearly thing meant you get less chips🤣 and not to mention the prawn toast was like drinking oil, food was decent but I could expect more flavour from a meal made my a toddler

I cannot stress enough how bad the food from this Chinese is. Our usual place was offline so we decided to use Lucky House as it is apparently a "local legend" according to Just Eat. We paid nearly £20 for half a duck that only just filled 5 pancakes (you get 20 pancakes with it to wrap the duck in) It was so burned to a crisp that the restaurant couldn't even shred it properly so it was just dumped in the container and sent to us charred! The hoisin sauce had a weird watery gloop on the top of it as though it had sat for days and separated, and the chicken fried rice was completely missing from the order! To top it off the salt and pepper chips were so greasy that they were inedible, the one I did try tasted like fish grease. NEVER again will I order from here. Absolute joke sending food out like that, especially when a takeaway is a total treat for people nowadays in this economy! Avoid like the plague if you know what's good for you.

Order arrived when expected however the quality of food was so disappointing and probably the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. So many better options in the Washington area. We ordered the large lucky box, which was more expensive than other establishments. The chicken was over-cooked and rice was dry, chips were bland(very little S&P seasoning) and the rest of the box was masked by an over zealous amount of onions. Rib meat was cremated. Can’t speak for the rest of the menu but would not recommend the lucky box to anyone.
